EZ STEP BY STEP TWISTED EASEL CHRISTMAS CARD TUTORIAL

Have you started your Christmas projects yet or are you still looking for inspiration? Are you looking to get a jump start on your Christmas creativity but you have no idea where to begin? Well here is a easy card for you to make....

Cut a piece of White cardstock 5 ½ x 11. Score at 5 ½, turn and score from one corner to the score line you just made. This makes the twisted part. Cut a 5 ½ x 5 ½ square out of white cardstock, this will be the front of the card.
Step 2: Cut one sheet of the HCDP1-2104 Candlelit Christmas paper into (3) 5 1/4 x 5 1/4” pieces. Cut one of those pieces from corner to corner to create two triangles.
Step 2A: Adhere the designer paper triangles and the one square piece to the card base as shown. Adhere the other square piece to the 5 1/2 x 5 1/2” white cardstock.

Step 3: Stamp the HCPC-3881 Christmas Poinsettias on the HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping paper with the ColorBox Lipstick Red, color with the ColorBox Rouge. Stamp the leaves on the same paper with the Archival Library Green Ink and color with the Emerald green. Diecut the flowers and leaves using the HCD1-7249 Christmas Poinsettia Die. Ink the edges of the flowers with more of the Lipstick Red and the leaves with the Emerald Green.
Step 4: Place the diecuts in the HCFB1-478 3D Christmas Poinsettia Flower Mold and run through the die cutting machine. Finish shaping the flowers by adhering 2 petals together for each flower, making sure to offset the petals and then pressing down in the center using the  HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Step 5: Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC- 3882 Candlelit Poinsettia stamp set on white cardstock with the Lipstick red ink. Diecut using the HCD1-7203 Ornamental Tags Die. Add small foam dots to the back.
Step 6: Add glitter to parts of the Paper, add yellow glitter to the flame on the paper. Adhere the sentiment and all of the leaves and flowers. Fold down the top triangle and adhere the front panel as shown in the next photo. Add glitter to all the leaves and flowers. Add prills to the center of each flower.
