Sat. Post

Good Morning, first I wanted to share a picture we took of the surge protector that saved my computer last Sat. The whole inside is black where it should be cream color. It done it's job thank God!!!!!
Next is the card :
Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #13
  • use an embossing folder
  • something die cut
  • something dimensional
  • a monocromatic card with a splash of color
My card is 5x7 and I embossed the second layer with the Kassie's Brocade folder. attached to the card base with Zip Dry and set aside. I started by using the new Doily Die I bought from Joan "The English Tea Party". I cut every other one so I could pinch it up making a flower like. Then I cut 2 of the sizes from Blossoms 2 and stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3354 Classic Message in the center of that. Using a 3D dot which I also added Zip Dry to so it will never ever come off, placed that on the doily. Then I stamped 2 of the HCPC 3318 Daisy Patch Flowers and cut those out using HCD 703 Die, put those together the same way. Added ribbon, placed the daisy and pearl and tada it's finished.

Nice card) Love the blue colour)))
Sorry, that has happened with your computer! This iron machine makes all os us to be powerless in front of its problems... I become really sick if it is broken somehow...)))

Gorgeous card, Olga!!! Totally elegant and so soft! Love it! I'm happy that your computer didn't get zapped, AND that your house didn't burn down! It's funny how we gripe about paying big bucks for things like that on a pretty sunny day, and are so thankful we have them in a situation like yours! Hugs...

Oh I forgot to add... Zip Glue is really, really strong... so is it's fragrance! A person could get really high if they made to many cards at once LOL!

The white with the pop of blue is so crisp and clean. My gosh, never thought of your computer when you mentioned that little electricity thing, wow, thank goodness you had the surge protector on it. Have a great weekend.
