Thought I would post a picture of the basket that housed the bees/wasps, better known as yellow jackets)(. The white stuff is what the exterminator sprayed to kill the bees.

I have actually purchased that powder and the tool to get it in the cracks. It works great, and since I too am off the chart allergic, some things are necessary. It is such a bad year for this.

Ouch! I can't imagine having a hive like this around me since I'm very allergic! Glad you got a professional to do the job...well worth it!
How sad that you had to kill the bees, but you don't want them that close to the house. Still thinking of you all.
NOT sad at all you killed the bees... We had a 50yr old friend just die from a bee sting.My heart goes out to you my friend.
