Good Morning, oops, it's 12:30pm so I guess it would be good afternoon. This is what I have been working on this morning. I got this idea and instructions from Nina Brackett's blog http://ninabdesigns.blogspot.com/2009/10/ginak-lord-of-season-blog-hop.html . It's funny how this came to be, I had seen it on Monday night and fell in love with it. I thought man I'd love to have that set of stamps but money is tight being my husband is just working part time now, so it doesn't leave much money for crafting. Then I got up Tuesday morning and had an e-mail from a friend of mine from Stamp TV Betty Benton telling me I had won a scrapbook challenge on STV. God answered my stamping prayer LOL. Well I knew right away which set I was going to pick out! This was Tue. and would you believe I got them Thursday! Now that's fast! It does take a few hours to make, I used 5 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 colored card stock and 1 sheet of white. I colored the images using pencils and OMS. I added stickles here and there, some buttons, stitched around the images and the front. Added a bow (I also learned how to do this from STV). On each of the background for the images I embossed using the cuttlebug folders. I plan on making around 10 of these for Christmas gifts, the lady who cuts my hair, the one that grooms my dog, my mail lady and a few people at work. I used my wishblade to cut 2010 out. I hope you like my calendar and will go check her blog out. She is very very talented. Thanks so much for taking time to drop by and look. Please leave me a comment I love reading them. Yall hurry back !!
