I highlighted some areas with a clear gel pen, added the bow, and the Merry Christmas is from the stamp set from Creative Visions called Holiday Sentiments.

Pink Christmas

Hello, hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. Here is a card I tried copying from Theresa Momber, of course it is no where near hers but hey, gave me some thing to shoot for LOL. Instead of an image I put a sentiment. I used Pretty In Pink card stock and ink. Then I sponged the edges with Rose Romance. The tree is from Stamping Up Lovey as a Tree, also stamped with RR. I used a clear glitter pen and hit the tree here and there to give it a shinny look. Added the bow and that finished it off. This was fun, I like trying what she shows us but most of the time mine go in the trash, so I'm real happy with this one LOL. Thanks for taking time to drop in to see. I appreciate it and all your comments. Happy Stamping!

Ornaments on the Tree

Good Morning, hope everyone is well and happy. Oh yeah and still have change in your pocket after all the shopping! LOL. I made this card after I got the idea of ornaments on the tree. It's also for the challenge at Fairy Creative Place for the tool you most are Thanksful for, (My Wishblade). I cut all the ornaments out from a GSD file through the wishblade. The images are from Mary Powell, mamawslegacy@aol.com which I downloaded free. She does amazing work and it always cuts so easy! I then stamped a swirl on them from "Autumn Leaves" in black stazon. All the card stock is from Gina K except the gold metallic. On the background I stamped the pines cones from Great Impressions, the Merry Christmas is from Creative Visions. Placed the ornaments around and topped one with a bow to finish off the card. I sponged around the edge to soften it. Hope you like my card. Thanks so much for taking time out to drop in and look, I really do appreciate it and your comments! So until the next time, May God Bless & keep you! Happy Stamping!

You Know to Much

Good Morning......Hope everyone had a wonderful filling Thanksgiving Day. I went to bed thinking I have got to go back on WW. I will, just not today LOL. Here is a card I made last week to show some ladies at work what a card looks like if you just emboss in clear. The base of my card is Gina K. Pure Luxury topped with More Mustard from Stamping Up. I used Versa Mark on the swirl stamp from SU Baroque Motifs, then heat embossed using clear powder. Then I took it a step further and ran it through the Big Shot with the Texitile cuttlebug folder. Then I applied VM on the flower stamp which I'm not sure where it is from, I got it out of a rubber stamp bin for $1.00. I had to put the foam on the back but it's a great little stamp, same with the sentiment, came from the same place. First time I have used either of them but love em! I mounted that piece onto another little piece of the GK CS and added 2 little bellas, a bow finished it off. Hope you like my little card, thanks so much for taking time to drop by and look, I so appreciate it and your comments!! Until the next time, happy stamping....

I colored every thing in using Sharpies. the sentiment is from Creative Vision. Then I sponged around the image with blue bliss from stamping up. Hope you like my card. All these Christmas images is getting me into the holiday spirit. I also saw on Nina's blog that TMITA are going to have a blog hop! Lone Tree

Good Morning and hope everyone is fine and dandy! This is another card I made with my lonesome brayer LOL. I stamped the tree (from Stamping Up Lovely as a Tree) with versa mark then Sage Shadow ink and embossed with clear. I used different blues again to create the sky leaving some white at the bottom. With a torn piece of paper I high lighted a small area around the white to high light little hills of snow. Then with my versa mark pen, I barely hit edges of the tree and added white embossing powder, heated that up. Used my ticket punch and mounted it onto the white cs. On the blue I used CB D'vine Swirl folder that I had rubbed Not Quite Navy on. Mounted that on the base of the card which is card stock from Gina K. The rest of the card stock is Stamping Up. Added pearls in each of the corners to finish it off. Hope you like my card and thanks for dropping by to look. I appreciate it and all your comments! Yall come back now hear!

Cold & Windy Night

Good Morning, it's a cold morning too! Before I even got out of bed my joints said COLD! LOL.
I have been playing with my brayer this weekend, you know one of the things you've had forever, but never pull out and use anymore. I heard it crying in the drawer so thought I'd let her know I still loved her LOL. I started off stamping the swirl from Stamping Up's Baroque Motifs set with versa mark and embossed it with clear powder. Then I stamped 3 tress from Creative Vision the same way. After heat embossing them I colored them in using shimmering paints. Used a versa mark pen and went all over them, again clear embossing powder and cooked it. LOL. Then I used different blues from stamping up starting with the lightest and went all around the top of the trees. I placed a scrap piece of paper at the bottom so I would be sure and leave it white. After I got the sky about where I wanted I took and tore a little piece of paper and added a little blue to the snow to give it a draft look. Mounted it on black card stock then on to the base of the card. hope you like my card and thanks so much fro taking time to drop in for a look. I do appreciate it and your comments! yall come back now!!

HI

This is for Cindy's color challenge over at Stamp TV. I could use green and Ivory but nothing else. The base of my card is Ivory from Gina K. the 2 greens are form stamping up. The ribbon is some I had on hand. I used the

Cuttlebug embossing folder Friends Forever, the word came with it plus 4 other words or saying. I added stickles to highlight the dots and that pretty much finished the card. Thanks so much for dropping in to have a look. I really do appreciate it and all your comments! Yall come back!

Skating By

It's me again!!! I've done enough today so it's time to play LOL. I was going into with drawls from not stamping so have to get a fix LOL. I made this card for the challenge over at "There's Magic in the Air". Nina puts a new digital image up every Monday. They are great so check em out! This is Skating By, I read some where this week that when you print out an image, color it in then go over it with a versa mark, and emboss with clear powder. I did it and it turned out great! Really made it pop. I tried doing a mirror image but not real pleased with it but keep in mind I am not a artist LOL. I used my brayer for the blues in the ice and sky. Mounted it on metallic silver card stock to give it the reflection that was called for. Added the ribbon to the side and the bow I made using my bow easy. Love that thing! Thanks so much for dropping in to look, I really do appreciate it and all your comments. Have a great afternoon and happy stamping until the next time!!

Birthday Wishes

Okay it has been one very long day.......thank God I'm home and can relax for about 30 minutes LOL. Here is a card I made for the challenge over at Just Us Girls. I was to emboss on the birthday card. The paper is all Stamping Up. I can not remember where the sentiment is from. And to be honest, I'm too pooped to get up and go through stamps to find it LOL. I'm sorry, I am bad. The embossing folder is cuttle bugs Friends Forever. Plus I added ribbon. It's to help celebrate Dana's birthday! Happy Birthday!!! Thanks for taking time to drop by to look and comment. I do appreciate it. I was afraid to wait any longer to post it, tomorrow is another long day and I may not get a chance to even check in during lunch, I know I won't I'm on an all day trip. S until tomorrow night, have a good one. Nighty night.

Candy Box

Hello world! It is gorgeous here in southwest VA today. Don't even need a jacket! And the sun is so bright!! I had this box I took apart, scanned it in the computer, traced it and cut it out using the wishblade. Over at Crazy 4 Challenges I was to use something with acetate. So cutting a window out in the center of the box, I added the acetate. Cut a circle out using a nestablitie, stamped a sentiment on it that came from Creative visions stamp set "Holiday Sentiments" and sponged around it with Gold. Added ribbon then the circle and filled it with candy. This makes a great little box to give at Christmas or any time really. Hope you like my box and thanks so much fro taking time to drop in and look. I appreciate it and your comments! Until the next time...

Nappy Hour

It's me again, second post this morning. This is a challenge card I made for Project Tue. I was to make a Pocket card. When I saw Digital Two for Tue. image this week I thought of the stamp I had gotten from Creative Vision "Nappy Hour" and knew they were made for each other. Didn't it come together great! I'm very happy with this card. I added ribbon and pearls to finish it off. Thanks so much for dropping by to look. I appreciate it and your comments! Until the next time.......

Love of my Life

Good Morning, hope all is well and happy in your part of the world! Here is a scrap book page of my DH I am entering for Scrap and Stamp's challenge this week. Not sure where the paper is from, you know me, I have old-timers, I cut the swirl out using the Wishblade. The butterfly's using Cuttlebugs die, added pearls, and felt flowers. I had to stamp at least one thing so I stamped a sentiment, it's a clear stamp I had and not sure where it is from. I am bad uh!! Thanks so much for taking time to drop in and have a look. I really do appreciate it and all the kind comments you leave. Until the next time, happy Stamping!!

Jingle in a Jangle

Hello from Sunny VA. The weather is great, 68 where I'm at. I'm loving it!! Here is a card I made for the color challenge over at A Fairly Creative Place. I was to use Ruby Red, Kraft and Creamy Caramel. I never would of thought of putting these 3 colors together but look how great they come together. I love this stamp set also. It's from Creative Vision "Jingle Jangle" stamp set. They are so adorable! I'm having fun using them this weekend. The ribbon is not ribbon at all but seam binding. But the color matched so perfectly I had to use it. LOL I colored him in with stamping up marker, added stickles here and there, and the border punch is Martha Stewart. Thanks so much for dropping by to look. I really do appreciate it and all comments. Hope you drop in again soon!

Easel Card

Here is another card I made today for Crazy 4 Challenges. All the paper and images are from Stamping up. I punched the leaves out using a sizzex die and my Big Shot. The other 2 cut outs are nestabilities. I added gold beads to the center of the flowers which I cut out and popped up. Sponged around the beige cs to add texture. Thanks for dropping in to look and I hope you like my card.

2 for 1

I'm back with another card. Hubby gone to work and I have time to play LOL. I made this card for 2 challenges, the image is from there's Magic in the Air. I am to use monochromatic (multi colors), orange of course was the color I choose. The sketch is for Sweet Shop. Most of the card stock is from stamping up, the Fiesta or beige cs is from The Paper Co. I tried something a friend of mine had said she done, I colored the pumpkins with a orange Sharpie. I added orange chalks a round it to dull the beige a little. The sharpie worked pretty good. Hope you like my card and thanks for taking time out of your busy day to look. I really do appreciate it and your comments. Hurry back!
