Easter Lilies

Good morning. It's Magic In The Air with Paper CupCakes! I pre-posted this due to dh having surgrey this morning, so lets hope every thing works with this LOL. Sue is our host this week and ask we use the Easter Lilies image and make a card where anything goes! How cool is that. Isn't this image absolutely gorgeous! This is going to be a get well card. I colored it using Stampin Up markers. I used my Scor-Pal and outlined the image. It's also white on white, not sure how well it shows up but IRL it is pretty. I added gold stickers from Mark Richards Peel Off's. I do hope you play along this week you could win, (prize below)

Be sure and check out the store here. Nina has such gorgeous images. I'm sure she has some thing you will fall in love with. Well that's it for now, have a great day and Happy Stamping!

Release Party

Good Morning! hope everyone is well and happy. Looks like it just might rain today but that's okay. The only thing I'm gonna do today is go get my hair cut and clean house. Last night over at StampTV they had a release party. It was fantastic! Connie L, Betty B and myself were also talking on Skype during the party. Felt like we were together, we laughed and just had a ball. Theresa Momber challenged us to use a sketch (above card) and Lee Murphy challenged us to a color challenge (card below).
I used Kraft and Bubblegum Pink on the first one and Theresa Momber's stamp set Perrr-fectly Delightful. I embossed the pink panels and sponged on the back one and around the edges of the other 2. Used a Martha Stewart border punch and added flowers. On the second card I used Gina K. Ivory, SU Tempting Turquoise and Barely Banana. I did emboss the back panel, MS border punch with brads, the stamp sets were Theresa Momber's Autumn Beauty and Gina K.'s Basket of Happiness. If you have never attended a release party you should, they are fun and it's a great way to get to know everyone better. Well that's it for now. Gotta get busy, can't be late for my hair appointment, Lord knows I need a cut bad!!! Until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Birdie Told Me

Good Morning All! Hope everyone is well and Happy! Gotta go to work again today but don't take it wrong, I thank God every day I have a job! Last night a few of us got together and stamped. everyone made a Tri-Shutter card. here is mine, I did finish it after I got home by putting the punched out birds, tulip and sentiments on it. I was just so slow last night. Anyway, the most exciting news was I got to meet Patti Painter. I first met her by way of StampTV. Found out she just lived maybe 10 miles from me so we started chatting and phoning each other. She is a super awesome lady! Very talented so be sure and check out her brand new blog here.

Also my sweet dear wonderful friend Linda Payne sent me this blog award. Isn't it pretty. the only thing she said to do was pass it on to 5 bloggers I liked. but there are so many it was hard to do, but I came up with
Patti P.
Betty B
Kerrie M
Selma S
Connie L.
but if you would like to have it, grab it.......because I love all your blogs!
That's it for now, gotta finish getting ready for work, it's bowling day, YEAH! I do have a lot of fun at work hehe. Until the next time..............Happy Stamping!

Garden Trellis

Look what I got yesterday while at Michale's. They had the Garden Trellis from Martha Stewart. I have been wanting ever since I saw what Selma did with it. Before you ask, I also got a butterfly punch and blades for my cutter. Not to bad. Bill is scheduled for cataract surgery Monday the 26th. doctor said he'd be able to go back to work that Thur. so not to bad. Then that Friday the 30th, I 'll take him to Winston NC to another doctor about a lung test. Tell ya more about that later. On to my card. I'll be the first to admit I am like a kid when I get something new, I have to play with it then LOL. Could not wait to try the technique Selma talked about this week where she punched it twice and cut it then butted them together to make a larger trellis, I added those flowers that all you do is punch em out and pop dot em together. Added the bow I made with the bow easy and thats it! Card stock is also Martha Stewart. Thanks for dropping by, hope you have a great weekend! Happy Stamping!

Guess and Win

Good Morning World! I'm up and going to work another day. Ain't life grand! But it's Thursday and I'm off tomorrow. But got plans so no stamping much tomorrow. Gotta take DH to doctor, well, he could take his self but I'll go with him LOL. Who knows, I may get to eat out and go by Michael's, hehe, doc's office is across the road. Sneaky ain't I. Okay, here is what I'm going to do, the first person to tell me what I used and how I colored these flowers is gonna win a prize. It was some thing new I had never tried and got the idea off of a blog I saw yesterday. I love how it turned out. I used the purple card stock from Gina K's autumn pack, a piece of scrap paper for the bottom out of the ole basket. The sentiment is from a SU set I won, Whimsical Words. I cut that out using the petite scalloped ovals small. The white dots were added using a opaque pen. Okay, can't wait to see who guess right. I got a little prize for ya so put your thinking caps on. It's new to me but you all may have done this before, who knows. Have a great day and I'll catch ya later, Happy Stamping!!

Came in from work last night and made this card with the new goodies I got from StampinUp. I love this set (Garden from the Heart). This was thrown together so it is by no way my better work but just had to get it inky! A Hug

Good Morning all! It's Tue and my turn to post a card for CCS. I went with black and white. I don't think you can ever go wrong with these colors. I love this sentiment also. I used black as my card base, embossed the white with the Floral Fantasy folder. After stamping the sentiment I cut it out with nesties. Added ribbon and a punched flower to finish it off. Now how simple is that but I think it's classy looking. Hope you like my card and thanks for taking time to drop by! Happy Stamping!

Merry Wishes

It's Magical Monday!!! Hope everyone is well and happy! This week Nilla is our host and ask us to use this image (Merry Wishes) and to use shades of blue, green and white. I printed it 3 times and cut 2 of them out. The blue is embossed with the Swiss dots folder, the green was punched out with a Martha Stewart border punch. Stickles was added here and there. Don't they look like they are off to the party LOL. this week you will want to be sure and play, the winner will get to pick 2 images! Now thats a great prize! Thanks for dropping by to look, I do appreciate it and your sweet comments. Happy Stamping!!

Daisies

Look whose back. I haven't felt like stamping much this week due to my arthritis acting up in my left hand. The swelling has gone down and it's not to painful so thought I'd give Tina's color challenge over at STV a go. I used Theresa Momber's Daisies from her set Perr-fectly Delightful. The card stock is from Gina K. I added little black pearls and ribbon. Cut the ovals out with nesties. That's pretty much it. Thanks for taking time to look, hope everyone has a great week. See you in the morning for TMITA/PCC.

I wanted to use one of the butterflies I got for my birthday from my Secret Pal. I love these butterflies. I also used the gold chain and smaller butterflies from Peel-Off's. The card stock is from a Martha Stewart pack. The sentiment in the middle is from Judith and the long one is from Outlines. Hope you like my card. Thanks for taking time to drop by. I do appreciate it and your comments!! Happy Stamping!!

I cut that out with a nestie, (Love those things!), then added 3 more gems to the upper right hand corner. Now how simple is that! I love this sentiment, you have got to check out all the wonderful singles Laura has at CCS, she has a stamp for just about anything you can imagine. And they are awesome stamps! They always stamp so clear and the details are unbelievable. I used card stock from Gina K's Spring Assortment. Embossed the 2 smaller pieces with Swiss Dots and the Textile folders. I punched the flower out with a Marvy punch, added a brad and attached it to the card. I little piece of ribbon with another brad finished it off. Thanks so much for taking time to drop by, I do hope you liked my card. So until the next time....Happy Stamping!!

Happy Camper

Happy Camper
Good Morning, hope everyone is well and happy. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! The weather here was fantastic!!! Okay this is my first ever tutorial and I must admit, I'm nervous. It's like the world out there is going to be grading me so please, be kind. LOL. I am going to show how to make a 5x5 card with a matching envelope. One of my favorite tools now is my Scor-Pal. Just makes it so much easier! Okay first thing I do is gather every thing I think I may need, most time I add to.... I went with 2 stamp sets, Hello Hunny and Happy Camper. I just thought she looked like a happy camper. That's one thing that I love about CCS stamp sets, you can mix them up so many ways! After stamping and coloring her I cut her out using a nestie. Added a punched border down the side then stamped Happy Camper in the lower right hand corner. My card is all finished and moving on to the envelope. I started with a 81/2 x 11" sheet of paper, trimmed it down to 8 1/4"x8 1/4". Then align the corner in the 3.66 on the scor-pal (this is the inverted triangle). Score at 6 3/8" (dot) on all 4 sides. After scoring on all 4 sides you will see where they over lap, that is your cutting mark, so cut those out. You are now ready to assemble your envelope.I attached scor tape to 2 sides. Peal and stick.
Now I am ready to insert the matching card stock, I measure it turn and trace the end that is going to fold over, trim it,round my corner off, tape it down and it's finished.
Hope you have enjoyed my tutorial and that it's helped you . I love making the larger cards once in awhile and I just make the envelope to match. Thanks for taking time to visit today, I do appreciate it and your wonderful comments. Don't froget to check out the other gorgeous cards, sentiments, sketches and turorial at CCS. Happy Stamping!!

Cart with Flowers

It's Magical Monday! Hope everyone had a great Easter. The weather was great. Sunrise service was too. The sun came up not like in the past where it was cold and rainy.
On to my card. This week Selma is hosting and said we could pick any TMITA/PCC image we wanted. BUT.. we were to celebrate Spring with cards that have 3D Flowers. I punched the leaves out with a Martha Stewar punch. I used the flowers I had on hand by putting them together with a brad. I colored my image with Koh-I-Noor pencils and OMS. Then I cut a mat out with a nestie Lable 9, embossed it with the Textile folder. I like the way it turned out and hope you do also. Don't forget to check out the other design teams gorgeous cards. Hope you play along this week, go on over to TMITA/PCC and grab your image if you don't have one and play along. Until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Picking Cherries

Good Morning. It's gonna be another gorgeous day here. Temps are right at 80, I am so loving it!!!
Made this yesterday and guess what. I had punched the green out awhile back and never used it, so really all I did yesterday was stamp the image, color her in used my corner rounder and added scarp ribbon. How easy is that! I love this image. This is the other one I got at Joan's Garden this week. I've got more ordered hehe. On this one I did glitter the cherries and the flower on her jeans. Well that's it for now, I gotta finish cleaning the house, laundry, shopping and would like to get back here and play in the flower beds a little. Need raking to get the leaves out and such. Thanks for dropping by and hope yall have a wonderful day!! Happy Easter!

Live

Good Morning. Here I could of slept in but up at 5 AM as if I had to go to work. I guess it's that built in alarm clock. I made this card just to be messing around, don't have a clue as to what or who I will give it to. It's done on Gina K. pure luxury using Stampin Up ink pads and stampscapes and Hero Art stamps. I went around the sides with the white opaque marker after attaching 4 brads in the corners. Oh yeah and alot of masking and sponging LOL. That's pretty much it. Here is a picture of the Easter Basket my Secret Pal at work gave me yesterday. Yummy Yum is right, 6 stamps, 4 packs of beautiful butterflies and candy too! I have a great Secret Pal!!Thanks for dropping by and hope you have a wonderful Friday!

Picking Cherries

Happy April Fool's Day!!
Look what else I got from Joan's Garden.......is she not adorable!!! I love these stamps! This one is "Picking Cherries" by Gillian Roberts. I colored her with Stampin Up markers. The card base and red that is punched is from Gina K. Sorry, don't know the name of the color but it was in the Holiday Assortment. I used a Martha Stewart ppunch. The checked is out of my scrap box. I added the white daisy, (I colored the center red and added the white dots and I did around the red mat. She is cut out with a nesties oval. I did add 2 white eyelets that I ran the ribbon through. Well that's it for today. Gotta hit the old shower and get to work. It's movie day so I'll have fun. Thanks for taking time to drop by and look. Happy Stamping!!

Bernadette

I think I'm still asleep. Man I did not want to get up! But here I am, hope what I write makes since LOL. Last week a wonderful talented friend of mine, Selma Stevenson, posted a card on her blog and the minute I saw the image I knew I had to have it. So I contacted Joan's Garden and look what I got! Is she not the cutest! Don't tell but I got one more too, I'll finish it tonight, hehe. It got here fast and Joan doesn't rob you on the shipping! Oh the wish list I have now, but gotta be good for awhile. I used Basic Grey Kioshi, and 2 pieces of scraps, it's Stampin Up, punched her out with a nestie, added some flowers and that's it. In away I think it's to busy but I'm not changing any thing LOL. Okay, this is short but gotta finish my coffee, (Hi Patti) we have coffee together LOL, then hit the shower and off to work I'll go. Nappy Hour

Happy Tuesday Yall! It's gonna be a great day in the southwestern part of Virginia today. Can't ya just feel it! I'm posting for CCS this morning. These are the best stamps I believe I have ever used. And the cleaner Laura offers is fantastic! Smells soooo goood and cleans better than it smells. Anyway, on to my card. I won this stamp last year during one of their blog hops. I have used it a lot and still love it. Boy I could of used a nap yesterday, LOL. The card stock I used is Pure Luxury from Gina K and topped that off with Stampin Ups Sweet Pea Designer Stack. I used a nestie to cut out the frame looking part and with the ribbon my card is finished. Some times depending on who is getting the card or if I'm mailing it , I let the image or sentiment carry the card. I think this says it all and nothing else is needed. Hope you like and hope you will check out all of the wonderful stamps Laura has. I haven't seen anything over $10.00 so that will fit any ones budget. Well gotta hit the shower and head to work. Hope your day is awesome, thanks for dropping by and Happy Stamping!!

Eggs-traordinary

Good Morning! It's Monday and it's Magical Monday! Sue Walsh is hosting this week and ask us to create a Paper Easter Basket using this image. Is he not the cutest!!! I made a fairly large basket, hubby doesn't know it yet although he has seen it, but this is gonna be his basket. I have since added more candy to it LOL. I used both nestabilities and Martha Stewart punches to create this basket. It measures 4x4" and is also 4 inches high. I used card stock from Gina K. Spring Assortment. Hope you like and really hope you join us this week at TMITA/PCC. Don't forget to check out the other designers creations, they are fantastic! So hop on over to TMITA/PCC and get your free image and play along. Nina also added 19 new images this week so check those out. She has such awesome images! Thank You so Much

Good morning all. Well I did get around to stamping a little yesterday. Well a lot I guess. I made this one and 3 for the challenges over at StampTV. Hopefully I will get some more done today. This is a card I made for a very dear friend of mine from STV. Well not for her but her son Travis who is in the Marines and right now is stationed over in Afghanistan. I am putting this in the mail this morning. The Roses (as we call our little group) do a challenge once a month and this month is Kym's and we are all making and sending him cards. I goofed, it was supposed to be Thinking of You and mine says thanks. Oh well, I do thank him and all of our men and women serving in the military. The sacrifice they make to make our life better is beyond words. We can never repay them enough. This is the image I bought off Ebay last week. So all I had to do is sponge around it and add a little color here and there. Cut if out with a nestie, and the border under it is of course from Martha Stewart. The dp is Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety. Thank you so much for taking time to drop by and look. I do appreciate it and your comments so much!!! Okay, that's it for now........Happy Stamping!!

3 Little Bunnies

Good Morning! Hope all is great with yall. Sadly to say my MOJO has gone a miss. I think it could be to working so hard this week. But no fear, the weekend has started and hopefully it's back. It's been way over a week since my last challenge. HELP! I made this card just to be making one. I bought some images off Ebay and the seller also sent me 4 extra images, this is one of them. Yeah, if you see this THANKS! I think it's Penny Black. The card stock is from Basic Grey "Green at Heart". I just thought it was perfect for these cute little guys. A field of wild flowers. I added ribbon which is yellow but sure doesn't look like it in the photo, then stamped Happy Easter from a SU stamp, cut it out with the circle nestablities to finish it off. Sorta simple but I'm pleased. Hope everyone has a great day..........Happy Stamping!

Thinking of You

Good Morning! It's a brand new day, no one has ever used it before so make it what ya want! I'm gonna make it a great day. Gotta work but it's March Madness Day at work, how fun is that!! Here is a card i made last night out of scraps! Well except the black card base that is. the stamp is one I got last year while at Winston Stamp Show, no name, sorry. The Thinking of You is from Creative Clear Stamps. I love her stamps, they always stamp so crisp and clear! ! After stamping it I decided to cut it apart and lay it out this way. What ya think? I also ran the ivory through the Big Shot with a square nestie and just embossed it. Added 4 black pearls to finish it off. I really like it. Afternoon

Good Morning. Gotta work today but it's okay, it's gonna be a fun day at work and I had a fun day yesterday stamping. I promise, I did clean my stamping room up, found the counter and every thing, but after several cards I made, it's a mess again. LOL. I made this card for the sketch challenge over at The Sweet Shop and Sat. Challeges any thing goes and Cute Card Thursday -Celebrate. I am real thrilled at how this turned out! I used some Stampin Up designer paper from my scrap basket and I think one little piece is from Basic Grey. This is an old SU stamp from back in 1995, no I wasn't stamping then, I got this one at a yard sale, but I love it! The sentiment is also from SU set "Just Journaling". Now I am bad about swapping cases so I hope I got that right. Let me know if I didn't. Cause I look at it and think, that doesn't sound right. Anyway, I punched the flower out, attached it and ta da, it's finished. Oh yeah, I did use a Martha Stewart border punch. Okay, I'm off to the shower then work. Not to fear, I'm off tomorrow, LOL, crazy schedule, then I gotta work Sat., off Sun., work Mon., off Tue, work Wed. & Thur then back on schedule LOL. Yall have a stamping good old time today and I'll catch up later!!

Little Things

Good morning, look who slept in. I love being off work this morning. Here is a card I made this morning. I got a card from Vicki Dutcher Mon. and let me tell ya, it was gorgeous! My jaw really did drop. I knew I had to try and case it. Mine turned out nothing like hers but I tried. The dp is from Basic grey. I stamped the flowers from Stampin Up "Wonderful Watercolors" and "Happy Harmony" with both White Colorbox and Pink Passion. The Butterflies were punched out using pink Passion cs. The ovals of course were cut out using nesties. Okay, I'm gone, I have got to clean this messing room up so I can stamp and be able to move. It won't stay long but at least I'll be able to say I tried. Yall have a great day and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

God's Love

Happy Tuesday morning! Hope all is great in your part of the world. I'm running late this morning and don't know why LOL. Just finished this card this morning and almost didn't post it. I'm not happy with it at all! Maybe to much pink, wrong type of butter fly, I don't know. Made this for a friend of mine who is a little down and out. She doesn't know why, just not her self. Hopefully this card will let her know I do care. The dp is Basic Grey, butterfly is Martha Stewart and sentiment is form Inkadinkado. I used Stampin Up ink. Oh yeah, the bow easy helped make the bow. That's it for this morning, I gotta hit the shower and get to work. I'm off tomorrow so maybe I'll clean this room up and start all over LOL. Yall have a great day and God Bless!

Bunny Cupcake

Good Morning! It's Magical Monday! Kim McDonald is hosting this week and her challenge to us and you is to use - Bunny Cupcake and make a Non-traditional Style Card. I went with a Wiper card. For great tutorials on how to make one go here or SCS also has one here. I used Stampin Up card stock. A Martha Stewart punch was used also. I embossed the Lovely Lilac with the Textile folder. Bunny was colored in with SU markers and Stickles were added. Look at that ribbon I used. I got it a few weeks back while at AC Moore and knew I could use it with Nina's images. It's perfect! The sentiment is from Darcie's. I am looking forward to see what you come up with this week. I'm wowed by all the gorgeous cards you submit to the challenges. Thanks for taking time to drop by, I appreciate it and your wonderful comments! Happy Stamping!

God's Beauty

Hello again! Here is the card I made for this weeks challenge at Annablle. I won last week , who knows I could win again this week LOL. I used Gina K. Spring Assortment card stock, the Flower is a stamp from Gina K. "Basket of Happiness", the sentiment is from Stampin Up's "God's Beauty". I colored it in with SU markers. Added a piece of ribbon I had and tiny pearls all over. I just love pearls! I purchased those from Gina K. also. I used one of the new punches I got Tue. from Martha Stewart. Thanks for dropping by for a look. Happy Stamping!
