Morning.......I'm off work today, had to drive to the doctor in Winston yesterday due to my RA flairing up in my left hand, he gave me a powerful shot and put me out of work for a few days so I can wear my brace and rest it. I am typing or trying to with one hand, it isn't easy let me tell ya. I'm slow enough LOL. I did manage to make this card, took me all morning and half of it was already done lying on my desk. It's for 2 of my favorite challenge sites, Outlines and Cheery Lynn. I used the following items:
Martha Stewart Scroll Heart large punch
EK's small heart punch
Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish
Stampin Up's embossinf folder
Spellbinders Fleur De Liz Squares

I have 2 cards to view this morning, this first one is for Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop, there are several of us that get together and create using some of our favorite stamps to show you and hopefully inspire you. My card is 5X7, I love that size, I started out with Gina K pure luxury white, then Stampin Up Black, then a piece of designer paper(??), I then cut a rectangle out using Spellbinders Fleur de Liz, then cut out a smaller one, stamped the verse from 3312 Uplifting Scriptures on that, sponged around and attached to the first rectangle. Ran Ribbon down the center of the card and attached the rectangles. Punched out several ferns and flowers using Martha Stewart punches and attached, put Stickles in the center or each flower to finish.

For this card, I also used Heartfelt Creations stamps, can you tell I love their stamps!!!! This one is 3321 Believe. There are several of us ladies that formed a group Crafters of Faith. We all blog and that's how we met, so Kelly started this up through SCS . It was open for anyone to join and after a week or 2 she closed it and we were formed LOL. We have had one mini color challenge and now this is our monthly challenge. Kelly (our leader) started us out and chose for us to create a card/project around Genesis since this is the beginning of this group’s creation and He has brought us all together for many common purposes. We could also use
Genesis, 1: 1-27~ Job 38: 28-30 … Rain, Frost~ Isaiah 65: 21-25 … Building houses, wolf, lamb, ox, serpent~ Jeremiah 4: 23-26 … Heaven, mountains, hills, desert~ Matthew 6:26-29 … birds~ John 1:1-5 … Darkness, light~ John 15:5 …. Vine, branches. I went with John 15:5. She also ask we use yellow, green, blue and/or brown. As you can see I did and went with flowers. I used Kassie's Brocade embossing folder, Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Oval Large, Petite Oval Small and Fleur de Lis Accents. I then used Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish, and several Martha Stewart punches for the Flowers and fern leaves. Here I am with my Roses challenge card. It's gonna have to be fast again, found the problem, it's in the wireless router. Right now I have it working but it won't last long..........For this cards I used Heartfelt Creations 3342 Snowmen melt your heart, Fleur de Lis retangles, Kassie's embossing folder, and the butterfly from SU God's Beauty. I am also going to enter this is in Crazy 4 Challenges, and Marks Finest Papers. Don't forget to check out the rest of the Roses's creation. Morning...........I'm off today and taking it slow..... Slept in and then fixed a relaxing breakfast, finally got in here and saw where Sugar Nellie has a challenge. To paper piece. I printed out 2 different girls, couldn't decide which one to use but finally decided on Faith. Mainly cause it was easier to cut her dress out LOL. I printed her out on white card stock, colored her skin and hair and sat her aside. I also printed her out at the same time on Martha Stewart designer paper, cut that out (dress & hat) glued, and then finished my card. I used MS Vintage Floral around the page punch, Spellbinders small deckled mega rectangles, cuttle bugs Kassie's Brocade embossing folder, Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish and last but not least some flowers I had made using MS punches. That's it for now, this blogger is giving me a fit this morning. Keeps trying to post before I'm ready, what's with that??? Morning, I'm running extra late this morning so gonna be extra fast..........This is for Cheery Lynn's challenge this week, I used Fleur De Lis Motifs, Large Classic Oval, Stampin Up's Petals A Plenty embossing folder, and Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish. I saw this on the net yesterday and sketched it out, but mine don't look anything like her's, I think I should have pop dotted my ovals up but, there's always the next time. The flowers and butterfly are store bougth and from my stash!!! I am really trying to use something from my stash on every thing I make, so far so good!!! Good morning, here's one I did for Outlines Challenge, Feeling Blue and make Blue the main part of the card. I used Outlines stamp Tiptoe, the sentiment is a rub on I have had for years (stash), all the card stock is from Stmpin Up and I used a Martha Stewart Vintage Floural punch. I colored this in using Pearl X paints cause I love the shimmer, only thing, it doesn't show up in the picture, sorry. That's it, sorry it's so short, maybe I need to start getting up at 4:30 instead of 5AM. Time I take the boys out, fix breakfast it's already 5:30, I'll have to think on this one, until, have a Blessed day and smile, God loves ya!!!!

Before you ask, no I didn't go to work today.........wasn't feeling the best so just stayed home. I saw Kathy's card this morning and set out to case it, instead, this is what I came up with. It's an old cookie can I covered and decorated. The stamps are from Theresa Momber's set Dogwood and Butterfly. I love this set. The swirl is from CheeryLynn and I also used some Spellbinders ovals and circles. A few of the flowers on top I made with a Martha Stewart punch. The lace is of course from my stash........and so are the micro beads in the center of the flowers. I used SU Rose Red and Gina K Ivory. The designer paper I'm not sure about......sorry. Good morning, cold and raingin here, not a good day to get out in it but, gotta go to work. Here is the card i made yesterday for the challenge over a t The Sweet Stop. Something is going on with my computer, it posted this earlier and I wasn't even finished writing it up, some times I feel like just trashing it LOL. Any whoo, I stamped on some paper to make the background paper, then sponged Walnut Stain over it, started layering and stamped the teddy (whom I don't know the company) embossing him with gold powder, stamped him 3 more times in green, yellow and blue. Cut those parts of the heart out and glued them back together on the gold one. He's colored with Stampin Up markers added the brass like button to the heart and the other thingy to the side, both from stash! I am using a lot of stash here lately and hopefully by the end of the year will see a big ole dent in it. Another Color Challenge

Good Morning!!!! How about another color challenge, this one is for Annabelle stamps. I even used a Annabelle stamp set, this is the very first one I ever got, (that old stash again), can't find the name of it but I'm thinking I can Fly???? What is with me here lately with these colors, I'm way out of my comfort zone again...........I also used Martha Stewarts around the page punch Deco Shells, Cuttle bug's Kassie's Brocade embosing folder and the little yellow piece is embossed I just don't know the name of the folder. I used Stampin Up card stock Lucky Limeade, YoYo Yello, and tempting Turqouise. 3 gems were added to finish it off. That's it for now, thanks for all the congrats on my big 1.4 weight loss, this week my goal is 1 lb. even.

Good morning, it's Sat and I go to WW this morning, cross your fingers and pray I have lost my goal of 1.2 this week. UPDATE I lost 1.4 this week!!!!!!

Here Is a card I made yesterday for 2 challenges, first one is the mini challenge our group Crafters of Faith came up with. Each one of us picked 3 colors for another member to work with, Melina of Crafty Scrapper got mine name and challenge me to use Orange, Purple and Blue. What crazy colors together I thought, but not to be done in............here is what I came up with, although I had help with the fantastic sketch from MOJO 224 this week. I used Stampin Up card Stock,White, Only Orange, Orchid Opulence and Bashful Blue. The ribbon is some I had on hand,(using that stash again), I also used Heartfelt Creations 712 Bella Rose Die and 713 Decorative Lace Die. Spellbinders Kaleidoscope, Floral Doily Motifs, and Parisian Motifs. Martha Stewart flower punch and the sentiment is SU Whimsical Words. I like how it turned out, thanks Melina for getting me out of my comfort zone!!! Okay, off to the shower then out the door. Have a blessed day and remember to smile, God loves ya!!!

Good morning, been playing this morning, here it is 8AM and I'm still in my gown, yes, I'm loving it!!!! I made this card last week and thought i'd share it, been making more this morning but I'll post those later. I used another Sugar Nellie image, Faith, colored with Prismacolor Pencils, it's a 6X6, I punched around the card with Martha Stearts Eyelet Lace punch and the sentiment is stamped on Spellbinders Fancy Tags Three. I made the little flowers and punched out the fern leaves. That's it for now, I may post another one later today............

Yesterday morning I woke up thinking oops, a friend at work wanted me to make her a card to give a friend of hers. She wanted it like a shadow box, so I jumped in and in less than 20 minutes came up with this one. I used Spellbinders Classic Ovals, Kassie's Brocade embossing folder,the sentiment is from Great Impressions, punches are Vintage Floral from Martha Stewart, flowers are Wild Orchid except the smaller ones and I already had those made, I did punch out a few fern leaves. The card stock is from Stampin Up, Ivory, Kraft and Soft Suede. I like how it turned out, oh yeah, I used 3 D dots to give it that Shadow box effect. I really like making these butterfly cards that Melanie M showed us here. I made a blue one first and now this one in brown tones. By far better than the blue. I used 2 Stampin Up sets, God's Beauty and the sentiment is from another one I got at a yard sell, it's got 1998 on it but no set name, sorry. The big flower is from Great Impressions. I also used Spellbinders Labels Twenty. I started by stamping the butterflies with Versa Mark, white powder and embossing. I used Tim Holtz Tea Dye and Walnut Stain. The card stock is from Gina K. Good Morning...............gonna be fast, all this weekend and here I am behind already LOL. This card is for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #2:
Create a Valentine in "non-traditional" colors

that's another goal I set for myself, do certain challenges for sure and then add some too, this is one to centainly do every week. She gives great prizes!!!! The card stock is Stampin Up Black and white. I stamped diferent stamps all over the white with Encore utimate Metallic Gold, then sponged all over the paper, added black ribbon, key hole and key (I got a few years back from WW),added a gold leaf, gold tiny flowers then one larger PINK rose from my store bought stash. Okay, that's it, sorry it's so fast but life goes on without ya if you don't sometimes jump at it.................God Bless and remember to smile, God loves you!!!!

Good afternoon............been playing and thought I would post yet another card, this one is for Crazy 4 Challenges, make a monochromatic card in Blue. Hope this fits, the butterflies down the side and the one I cut out are stamped and embossing with with powder. I used Night of Navy card stock, stamped with versa mark, embossed then rubbed or sponged Bordering Blue, Brocade Blue and Night of Navy, removing the ink from the butterflies. You can see how to do this here. I used another Stampin Up Set that has been sitting in the cloest forever, God's Beauty. I also used Spellbinders Fancy Tags Three and Fleur de Lis Rectangles. A few gems here and there to finish it off. that's it for now, thanks for looking and commenting!!!!!

Perhaps I'll play...........hehe this is a card I made for 2 challenges, SweetStop and Outlawz Thur. The image is from Stamping Ups In the Garden set, the sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations 3363 Inspire Me Sentiment Set, the flower and border are from Martha Stewart, and cuttlebugs Kassie's Brocade embossing folder. The card stock (SU) and paper (??) are some I have had for a long time, I am trying to use things I have and not buy that much this year. Wonder how long this will last????? I have some things headed this way, that I have won, other than that, that's it. I have so much and hardly use most of it any more, gotta get the lastest thing, newest stamp, well you know, bet you do too. I added store bought hearts and stamped Happy Birthday from Theresa Momber's set Purr-fectly Delightful. I am also entering this at Speedy the Fox (border punches) and Charisma Cardz Challenge, Happy Birthday 3, that's why the 3 hearts. Snow on the Mountain

Good Morning, here with another scene card. And to share my exciting news!!!!! I am honored to be part of the first design team with Craft A Scene, can you tell I'm thrilled!!!!! When I read the email I even screamed!!!! I have so much to learn and hope I can pick up a lot of pointers from the rest of the team, so many talented ladies!!!! The list of the complete team is on my sidebar, be sure and check them out. Now for my card, it's 5 X 7, Regular card stock, and yes I do use glossy once in awhile, I just feel I can control the inks better with regular, I first stamped the Autumn Bank by Stampscapes, then inked it up again and stamped it on the Morror Image Stamp I have, lined it up by just eye balling it and stamped it the second time to fill the page. Next I used a mountain scene stamp I have and I'm not sure about the company it's from, it is not stamped on the stamp and I have had it a few years and just don't remember, let me know if you do. Then using Stampin Up inks, I began sponging until I had it like I wanted, I did use orange instead of yellow this time and think it turned out better, with me it's more like trail and error LOL, after the sky and water I added grass and cat tails from Theresa Momber's stamp set Life Is Good. I made this card 2 weeks ago then decided I was happy with it, but after liiking at it for awhile I guess it's okay. It's another Sugar Nellie image called Faith. What I like about them is the fact they look so real. I just don't do cuteiz very well, so........... Looks like I also used Cuttlebugs Brocade Window to frame her . Good morning, sorry, I didn't get home until late last night and wanted to finish this card so I could post it this morning. I guess every thing went well yesterday, Bill now how to give himself 2 shots a day for his sugar, but we are going to WW this morning and hopfully God will help us both lose weight. This card is for 4 challenges, first Mo's Challenge Anything goes, Joan's weekly challenge #1:
Make a card and/or tag using some kind of hearts
Use any kind of embellishments
Use, pink or red with white
Do some kind of embossing. Think I covered everything, my hearts are also my embellishments. Which is what I got at Michael's yesterday, I did not own a heart punch or die of any kind, so I got one now! It's also for SCS sketch challenge and Outlawz Thur. to use Dies and Punches. WOW, that's 4 for me, it could be a record!!!!! Okay, off to the shower and get to WW, wish us luck and lots of prayers please LOL.

Good morning, slept in this morning, gotta take Bill to Winston, he has 2 doctor appointments, hoping I will have time to run by Michael's and cash in a gift card I got for Christmas, it's getting hot in my pocket LOL. Here is another card I made last weekend using Grace by Sugar Nellie, she isn't one of my new images just had her made thought I would share. I used labels ten to matt her and punched out and made the flowers, some are from patterned paper which I love how they turned out, may have to make more of those!!! I also sponged around the side and she's colored with Primacolor Pencils. That's it, it may be tonight before I get by to comment, so until then, God Bless and happy Stamping!!!!

Remembering

Good morning.........not as cold here this morning but still burrrr. My card this morning is another one for the challenge over at Craft a Scene, you can do up to 3, so I may even do another one before the challenge ends. My card is 5 X 7, the scene part is 5x5 which I punched around the card with the Martha Stewart punches Vintage Floral. I then stamped the 3357 Snowy Window Scene fro Heartfelt Creations with versa mark and embossed with white powder. Took distress ink, rubbed around the edges and center a little, removed the extra from the embossed part and attached to the punched part. Attached that to the card base. I then cut out the Fanciful Flourish by Cheery Lynn and attached. Punched out the flowers, shaped, added centers and attached to the card. Stamped Remembering from HC 3377 Sympathy Sentiments, I masked off the rest of the sentiment cause all I wanted it to say was Remembering. Then I printed out Lizzie that I got from Sugar Nellie, colored her in with Prismacolor pencils, cut her out, using 3D dots, attached to the card. I really like how this one turned out and hope you do to. Have a blessed day and happy stamping yall!!!

This is gonna be a super fast post, sorry, this card was made for the Outlines Sketch challenge. All the card stock was white(except the yellow) until I applied Inka Gold to change it, stamped the 2 flowers, cut the smaller one out, usinga 3D dot, attached it and then punched out the yellow center. I used the Deco Shell punch from Martha Stewart down the side and stamped the sentiment. Have a blessed day.......

Winter Blues

It snowed here yesterday, may have about 1.5 - 2 inches. The boys love it, me NOT! I gotta drive in it this morning to go to work. The challenge over at Cheery Lynn this week is Winter Blues, although I dout if this is exally what they had in mind, it's what I came up with. I used some white scarps and put Inka Gold on it, end results are the blue flowers, . I punched out using Martha Stewart punches, love the shine, gotta do more of that. I used Fanciful Flourish, my favorite die and the image is a new one from Sugar Nellie, her name is Rebbecca, I colored her with Prismacolor pencils. Oh yeah Deco Shell punches from Martha Stewart. The card is 5.5 X 5.5. When ever I want to punch around that's the size I go for, other than that it's the 5 X 7. Okay, gotta hit the shower and get out of here. Morning!!! Last week I sat and colored several images and this is one of them. It's Thomas and friend from Sarah Kay, .I love their images. I just bought 4 new Sugar nellie images yesterday............2 are already colored, I'll show you those later. I colored him with my Prismacolor Pencils. I didn't use any OMS and it does show, but some times I like how the pencil marks look. I almost didn't post this, the color looks awful, it looks yellow but it's really a light green, but it is what it is and that's all I'm gonna say LOL. I am entering this at Create a Scene, it's their first challenge!!!! I stamped my Lakeside Cabin on regular card stock, not glossy, colored it in with Prismacolor pencils, I know, most don't but I'm learning and that's why I am excited about this new site, I'll learn something LOL. I also used a Cheery Lynn Die, Fanciful Flourish(which I love), and spellbinders Labels Ten, Beaded Ovals and Petite Ovals Small. Oh yeah, Kassie's Brocade embossing folder. My card is 5X7. Sunday with the Roses

Happy 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No I didn't stay up, I was snug in my bed by 10:30PM, guess it's out now, I am not a wild woman LOL. Us old people need our sleep LOL.
It's time for another Roses challenge, this month it is Sue W. that is hosting it, she really did an awesome job with this challenge, or at least with me, I do not do vintage well at all so............ then I left out the glitter, me of all people, no glitter. I did use ribbon, lace, vintage image, and recycled button. I used 3 stamping up sets, Days Gone By, A Quiet Life, and Letters From Friends. Using My Stash

This could be a challenge, use things you haven't used is awhile. Funny how we just have to have it, use it for a little while until the next just gotta have thing comes around, well yesterday I dug out some things I haven't used in awhile and came up with this. Even the card stock was in the basket, I had to emboss another small piece cause 2 were already cut and embossed, I cut the swirls and leaves out using Sizzex dies, the flowers I made using both Martha Stewart and Stampin Up punches, even the micro beads I have had for a long time, I did add some stickle. Then sentiment is Heartfelt Creation 3311 Hope In The Lord which I cut out and matted with Spellbinders petite ovals. I saw a card like this over at SCS awhile back, but can't remember whose it was, could be yours???? Anyway, I liked it and that's where the layout came from. Michelle is coming up today to help take Christmas down and put away until next year, so I'll be busy. Yall have a blessed day and I'll catch up with ya later!!!!!

Good Morning, if you are looking for the blog hop check here. I made this card for the challenge over at Cheery Lynn's. I used 2 of their dies, English Tea Party DL101 and Fnaciful Flourish B117. Then I added a large pink flower and 3 white flowers I punched out using a Martha Stewart punch. Added micro beads and that's it. Oh yeah, the sentiment is from a Stampin Up set. My card is 5.5 X 5.5. I stamped 3345 Snowflake Medley ramdomly around the card base. Set aside and then using #717 Layered Scalloped Posy die, cut the black circle out first, then the white doily part, attached and attached to the card base. I then stamped and colored the Snowman from 3342 Snowmen Melt Your Heart twice. Cut one out completly and only the scraf and bird form the second one. Using 3D dots attached to the card. Stamped the sentiment and attached also completing my card. Be sure and visit the rest of the hop for some fantastic ideas!!!!

Okay, we are to make a Holiday Thank You card over at Outlines, although it's cold here, it's warm with blooming flowers somewhere. And besides, I want to use this new fantastic stamp I got from them,. Isn't it gorgeous, they have some beautiful stamps, I want more but no money LOL. Gotta try and win some. This stamp is G1163 Spring Bonnet. The Thank You is a little from the computer and a little from me LOL. Wish me luck!!!! I colored it with my Prismacolor Pencils, used Kassie's Brocade embossing folder. That's it for now, gotta clean this house and do some laundry, guess I'll se ya tomorrow!!!!

Good morning, hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas. I did with lots of wonderful food, which has got to stop!!! I so need to lose weight!!!! Here is a card I made last week and never posted, it's a new set from Melanie M. called Stately Flowers 1, I ordered it from StampTV. It has lots of gorgeous flowers and you know I love flowers. I also used Kassies Brocade embossing folder, Spellbinders Beaded Ovals and punches and flowers. Good morning and Happy Christmas Eve! got my Cherry Cheesecake and Potato salad made yesterday, the rest will be cooked today. wanted to share a small desk calendar I made for my office. I downloaded the template from Cat here. This was super easy and fast to make. What took the longest was printing and cutting the calendar pages out LOL. I used one of Heartfelt Creations new dies Layered Scalloped Posy #717 for the topper. Then stamped the pages with #2253 Flourished Background. I used Gina K. 120 lb. white and Stampin Up Night of Navy. That's it for now, yall have a great day and Merry Joyous Christmas!!!!

I can't believe I'm saying that even for a card LOL. The challenge this week at Outlines is to make a card about winter . I don't have a winter stamp of theirs so I used this one to repesent a snowflake. I also cut stamped and cut out 4 smaller stars and glued on. The paper is doing most of the work but........I do love their stamps, can't wait to show you the one I'm working on now, I am also entering this over at Outlawzs Sun challenge. Winter again. Okay, today I get my hair cut, then clean house and start cooking, have a blessed day and I should be back in the morning........

Good morning!!!!! My first and fantastic news is...................I went on line last night to Heartfelt and was one of the first 50 and won a $50.00 gift certificate!!!!! Christmas present!!!!! yeah Baby!!!!! Can ya tell I'm happy!!!
On to this card hehe, I made this one using one of the free stamps I won at Outlines. It's called Tiptoe and the sentiment it Friendship is,,, I am entering this on Outlawzs Mon. Greetings challenge to use Bling. Hoping to have some time to create a few more cards for challenges. Today is my Friday, but, need to finish shopping, Food, and then clean on Friday, cook and have Christmas with Michelle on Sat., off to Bill's Mom's on Sunday........so we'll see. Winter Pansies

Not sure if that is the flower or not but it's what it looks like to me. I colored these with Prisma pencils and OMS. Added yellow stickles to the center to give them a shine. This is from the new set from Melanie Muenchinger called Stately Flowers. This set if full of gorgeous flowers, and you know I love flowers. I used 2 die cuts, one to matt and the other to cut the image out of. The leaf at the top is from Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish and the flower is some I have had forever! The embossing folder is from Stampin Up.

Good morning, here is my last Christmas card this year. I received one this week from Linda and Emma (Heartfelt Creations), that may me gasp!!! It was so beautiful! So I set out to case it, mine looks okay but not as gorgeous as theirs. The pages turn with other sayings on each one. I used the following:

3415 Petite Poinsettia ; 3419 Holiday Poinsettia Candle ; 3429 Wisemen Ornament ; 3430 Shepherd Scene ; 3433 Book Frame ; 3421 Dove of Peace ; Labels Seven; Lacey Squares; Layered Poinsettia Die; Versa Mark; Gold Powder and Stampin Up card Stock. Guess that's it for now, the cookie swap went great yesterday with a fantastic lunch, I posted a picture at the top.....Today the Secret Pals have a lunch and swap and tell who had whose name. then I think I'l done with all the great lunchs, that is until Sat. Michelle comes up and we do Christmas then, Sunday will be with Bill's family. then, no more eating and back to weight watchers!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend, I did, didn't want it to end...........We had Christmas with Bill's son and his wife yesterday. yes got all the cookies done Friday, gonna swap those today, getting closer to the day people! I'm working this week but most took off, sounds like a nice time at work, hope my boss isn't reading this LOL.
My card is for 2 challenges, Sweet Stop sketch and Outlawzs Child like. I always think of giving kids a puppy, I know to many movies LOL. And really they say it's the worst present cause after Christmas they don't wanta take care of them. Any whoo.....the image is from Mo's (I think), colored with Prismacolor Pencils, glitter added along with the twist on Sweet Stop to add chipboard. Holiday Gate Fold

Morning to ya!!! Gonna be up in the 60's here today............yes I'm loving it!!!!!
Here is another Gate Fold card I made for the challenge over at Outlawzs. They have a different challenge everyday....I'm loving it!!! I am also entering it over at AnnaBelle's challenge (3), there is 3 poinsettias layered on top of each other. I used several heartfelt Creations stamps, HCD716 Layered Elegant Swirl Die; 3415 Petite Poinsettia; 3419 Holiday Poinsettia Candle; 3427 Herald Angels Background; and Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia Die. I stamped, colored and cut the candle out, then attached it to the band I made. I stamped, cut out and shaped the white poinsettia and attached it. I added a little glitter and red stickles to the center of the flower. That's it, hope you like, I gotta make 8 dz cookies today for the Cookie Swap we are doing at work, wish me luck. so until later, have a Blessed day!!!!

Hearts That Give

Good morning, I'm not working today but gotta cook and go to a lunch over at my bosses house today. She always invites all of us and we all fix a dish and have fun. I just put my chicken on and thought while it cooks I'd post this card and comment alittle. This card is for 2 challenges. The Outlawzs sketch challenge............and Cheery Lynn Design Challenge. This is the first time I have played there, I keep forgetting to make a card LOL. The theme this week is to make flowers using a die. I used Heartfelt Creations 3303 Posy Patch Flowers and 701 matching die to make the flowers. I also used Cheery Lynn's Dl108 Kiwi Dolly and my all time favorite B117 Fanciful Flourish. The stamp is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry, ( it's funny how I came to have this one, a friend of mine (Susan), bought 2 of them, you know like we have never done that, so I got one LOL.) Anyway, I cut it out using another circle die. That's it, wish me luck. I sure could stand to win, I want some new stuff and no money to buy any LOL. Shiny and Bright

Good morning! Man took the boys out this morning and feels like a Spring morning, not cold at all, just a tad cool. Here is the card I made for the challenge over at Outlines. Remember I won last week so here's hoping to make it 2 in a row. Wouldn't that be a hoot!!! I picked out some awesome stamps and can't wait to get em. For this card I used 6 different ones, the big BG, the sentiment, 2 squares then 2 flowers. I stamped the background on black and embossed with white. Everything else I prepared my Sticky Tape, which comes in 8.5X11 so not sure why they call it tape???, anyway, the glitter I used was white, yellow and blue. Then stamped the images, cut out and attached. The 2 flowers are attached using 3D dots. Yellow stickles was added to the center of the 4 black flowers. I'm telling ya, go check this site out. Several of you told me you had some Outlines stamps, so get to the challenge. So until later, God Bless and Happy Stamping!!!!

Thinking of You

Look what I got in the mail yesterday, it's Theresa Momber's new set "Dogwood and Butterfly". I fell in love with this set the minute I saw it and couldn't wait to get it. I stamped it and colored it with my Peach Prismacolor pencil and OMS. I stamped 2 of the bigger one and cut them out, shaped and layered on the ban for the gate card. I used HC new HCD716 Layered Elegant Swirl Die to make this heavy we gate fold. I used Stampin Up's Chocolate Chip and Gina K pure luxury white. I embossed using Kassie's Brocade. that's it for now, our boss is taking us out to breakfast this morning so I gotta shower and be sure and get there on time LOL. It's Monday!!!!! All day so I'm up early, gotta post this, shower and get. I made this card Sat. for 2 challenges, The Sweet Stop (sketch) and Crazy 4 Challengs to put a Santa on your card. I used Martha Stewart punches and Spellbinder dies. The stamp is one I have had for a long time and I can't read the company name. I colored his hat in using Stampin Up markers and the added glitter to his hat, beard and hair. Okay, going to comment...............later.

Good morning world. It's cold outside but at least it isn't snowing. Guess you all heard about the shooting at VT yesterday, how sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to all affected. So sad. I live about a hour away.
On to my card, it's another one layer. I am so liking this hehe. Used Heartfelt's 3349 Cardinal Holiday Mailbox and colored it lightly with Prismacolor Pencils. That's it beside rounding the 2 bottom corners. I am going to enter this one over at Joan's challenge, check her out, she can get you anything and just charges what it cost her to ship. One layer card and entering on Joan's #13 challenge. Anything goes! I used Impression Obsession stamp along with the sentiment from HC 3349 Carnial Holiday Mailbox to make a few extra Christmas cards. These are fast and easy plus I love it. Added some glitter here and there and tada!!!! the card is 5 X 7 and the inside is stamped with another sentiment from Northwoods Rubber Stamps, it says;"May this Christmas and the New Year bring you Peace and Happiness." So being I couldn't color Santa, I glittered him LOL. I have had this stamp for ever and it's used a lot!!! Layered Elegant Swirls

Good Morning, look what I got Friday!!!! It's HCD716 Layered Elegant Swirl die from HC. I love this new die, I got the other new one from Heartfelt too just no time to play yet. I watched and followed EmmaLou's instructions on cutting this out and with my first try this is it!!!! Don't really understand the wax paper but hey, I'm gonna try it one a few other dies I have. I also used 3389 Sentiments for Mom on the inside ; 2253 Flourish Background ; 3303 Posy Patch flowers ; 701 Posy Patch Die ; 3301 Hydrangea/Posy Branch. I colored in the brach and leaves with a green Prismacolor Pencil, stamped and cut out a few posy flowers, added Stickles and ta da!!! Sorry I haven't commented this weekend, been busy, worked Sat., then had Thanksgiving dinner with Michelle on Sunday and did a little shopping, today I'm gonna clean house and do laundry. But while I am in here I'm going to visit and comment. So ready or not, here I come hehe.

Spots, that is what they want over at Charisma Cards this week. I decided to make a little project instead of a card. I may make several of these to pass out for the wonderful ladies I work with. To make this I took a piece of Gina K. 120 lb. White Pure Luxury. My last piece but should get more today in the mail.....I hope or at least by Monday. You can not beat it!!!! Anyway, I cut a piece 4.25 X 11. Scored at 4.5 ; 7 ; 8 ; and 10.5. All the layers are cut .25 smaller. I also used spellbinders Ovals and Heartfelt's 3310 Trust in the Lord. The flowers are from Wild Orchid. Then just slipped a pocket size tissue pack in. Well, gotta go shower and get ready for work.............Gonna see Santa today, I'll tell him how wonderful yall are hehe.

I used Martha Stewart's Modern Garland punch, Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish and Heartfelt's 3342 Snowmen Melt Your Heart. I put a snowflake eyelet at the top to put the ribbon through. That's it, gotta bathe the Boys this morning and comment, maybe do a little laundry but mainly gonna play. I have to work tomorrow cause Santa is coming LOL. I love this image (not sure of the company) and the saying is what I put on with the help of the computer!!!! This one is gonna be Betty, Patti and Maryanne. Whom have had birthdays recently. We Roses have fun and I think this one fits right in. Only the day I made this my MOJO had took a break............it's Maryanne's challenge, make a birthday cards and also use buttons and gems. Good morning, hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I think I gained another 10 pounds LOL. Oh the price we pay for being a good cook LOL. I did not go shopping yesterday, to many people for me, but did get my Christmas Gift for myself on line, love the new dies at Heartfelt Creations!!! oops, now ya know what I'm getting LOL.
Here is a card I made yesterday for the challenge over at The Outlawz. I used Heartfelt Creations 2253 Flourish Background, 3430 Shepherd Scene, 3415 Petite Poinsettia and 3432 Magnificent Spruce, and Martha Stewart punch Eyelet Lace, Spellbinders Lables Twenty and Layered Poinsettia, and Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish. I stamped every thing with Encore Ultimate Metallic Silver. Gems and bow was added to finish it off.

I made this card for 2 challenges, The Sweet Stop sketch and The Outlawz Greeting card. I am loving the Outlawz...........if you haven't been over there you should and sign up, they have all kinds of challenges, last week one of my cards was featured, yes I was thrilled!!!! I used Mo's image Noello Bearing Gifts, or that's how I saved it on my computer, I've had this one for awhile. Good morning...........I think I have this computer up and going but not the main one. A friend is coming over this afternoon to check it out. Lets hope it's not anything major. If anyone can fix it, Drew can!!!!
I made this card a few days ago but have failed to post it so here ya go! I used more scraps, store bought flowers, and Theresa Momber's stamp set from StampTV Hope Grows. I'm getting back into more challenges and really enjoying it. I forget if I made this one for a challenge or just made it, doesn't matter, okay, I'm gone, gotta work 4 hours today then I'm off until Monday. Howdy, thought I'd share what I've done today, my sister was wanting a scrapbook that she could add the pictures to later on. Nothing fancy, and little embellishments. Yes, that part hurt, I wanted lots of flowers, bling and pearls. You know me, but, it's not mine so hope she's happy with it. Everything is black and white, used about every Martha Stewart punch I own hehe, and a few Cheery Lynn and Spellbinder dies. That's it, yall be good and be good at it and I'll catch ya later, we're watching the race, go Carl, but right now it's not looking to good, Tony will probably get it.

Good Morning, the boys are fine, they were still sleepy and sore last night but they seem to feel better this morning!!!! Yesterday was a busy one , took the boys, got my hair cut, check up with the hearing doc, cleaned house, done laundry and played. Here is a card I made yesterday for Joan's challenge. I was to make a Christmas scene, have an animal in it, use a die, some embossing and a die cut. Think I got every thing. The larger stamp is from Impression Obsession and the smaller one is a Art Impressions, the die is from Cheery Lynn and the folder is from cuttle bug. I am also entering this at the CES Challenge Blog for snowflakes, they are all over the card LOL!!!! That's it for now, we are meeting Bill's kids today for our Thanksgiving dinner in Wytheville. Good ole Cracker Barrel, can't beat it. MOJO Monday #215

Well the boys are at the Vets..............suppose to call for a update around 2PM. Poor ole Bill is so upset, thought for awhile he was gonna say lets not do it, he's worried it's gonna hurt em. Then you know me, I've been laughing and rubbing it in LOL. Snip snip and they're gone boys LOL. Okay, I am sorry and do not want my boys to be in pain, but having them fixed is the best thing for them all the way around. They come home tonight and will be treated as Kings.........
Here is a card I made for MOJO Monday #215. I used scraps and store bought flowers. I have 3 boxes full so wanta try and get rid of some, I'll still be making flowers cause I love making them, but wanta use some of my stash too. I used another one of my Great Impression stamps. Got an email yesterday from a friend telling me they have a Design Team call going on..........very interesting!!!! I have several of their stamps, as a matter of fact, I am also working on a snowman card using one of their stamps. Okay, getting off the subject of this card. I also used another Cheery Lynn Die "Lace Rose and Flourishes". Only I just used part of it. 2 cuttlebug embossing folders and pearls! Can you believe I am posting another card this week???? This one is for my office mate Olivia. She is gonna have a sweet little girl and I found out yesterday is is fixing the room in pink and green. So with the colors in mind this is what I came up with, plus I will be entering this at OOhLaLa Creations challenge, Charisma Cardz Challenge to use Lace and pearls,to use Gingham at Sweet Stamping Challenge and The Secret Crafters Sat sketch to use lace, pearls and flowers (oops, missed the dead line again) and CES Challenge to use Ribbon and Roses. Got all those covered!!!! I used a sweet image I purchased from Funky Kits, Sweet Sugar Nellie baby. Good morning.............I made this card yesterday morning after the boys got me up at 3AM LOL. yep, went to work and worked all day. Anywho, this is stamped with one of my Great Impression stamps. I forget what you call this but I stamped it with versa mark, heat embossed with clear, sponged around with More Mustard, wiped it off the image and cut it out with one of the oval nesties. I also used 2 of MS punches, Deco Shells and Lattice Edger. Of course I had to dry emboss using Cuttlebugs Kassie's brocade. Added pearls to finish it off and tada!!!! Poinsettia Ornament

Good morning........can't sleep so thought I would come in here, comment and post a card. I made this one for the sketch challenge at The Outlawz. I used Gina K 120 wt white card stock, and real Red from Stampin Up, Kassie's brocade embossing folder by Cuttlebug, Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish, Heartfelt creations HCPC3415 Petite Poinsettia, HCPC3417 Poinsettia Ornament, Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia Die and Heirloom Ornament Die. Oh yeah, let us not forget pearls and stickles LOL. I stared by stamping the ornament with versa mark and embossing with red powder. The poinsettia are stamped with Silver ink. I shaped them then put the flowers together, attached everything and ta da!!! That's it for now, have a blessed day and I'm going now to catch up on commenting!!!

Cheery Lynn Tag

Hello, told you all the other day about getting my new die from Joan's Garden, it's Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish. I just love it and I'm noticing I am using it on all the things I'm making now LOL, but it's not only gorgeous, it cuts out so good and just pops out, no poking and pulling, I just love it!!! Then I found out they have a blog and a challenge. The challenge this week is to make a tag, look what's on it, the new die, I have more of their dies but right now this is my favorite!!!!! I also used Stampin Up card stock, Martha Stewart punches Eyelet Lace , Spellbinders Fany Tags Two, Cuttlebugs Kassie's Brocade, the flowers are another MS punch but I don't know the name, (sorry), and the Merry Christmas is a Stampin Up stamp.
Okay tahts it for now, Bill is sick so I gotta fix supper and tend to the boys!!!! I'll catch up with yall later, so until then, Happy Stamping!!!!
Maybe next time, the challenge is closed, just my luck, a day late and a dollar short LOL.

MOJO Monday #214

I took time to play. The boys are under feet, whinning like babies wanting me to play with them more, but enough already!!!! LOL, just kidding, they are under foot but playing with the chew bones! Here is a card I made for Mojo Monday, don't think I have ever played there before but man what awesome sketches!!!!! I used Stampin Up card stock and the Merry Christmas , the rest are several embossing folders from cuttlebug, die cuts from Cheery Lynn, Spellbinders Layered Poinsettias, Heirloom Ornaments, Fancy Tags Three, gold #918 Inka-Gold and my favorite Heartfelt Creations HCPC3415 Petite Poinsettia. I stamped those using silver and embossed with clear, cut out and then just glued everything in place. I am also entering this in the #138 Dutch Dare Card Challenge.

Good Morning............here is one I threw together this morning while the boys are napping. With them running around there is no time to stamp much except a few minutes here and there. I got the new (to me) Fanciful Flourish yesterday that I purchased from Joan's garden, it's from Cherry Lynn and I love how it cuts out the first time and just falls off the die!!!!! I also had Connie colored and lying there, I did emboss the two blue pieces, and other than that and adding the Stickles in the center it was ready. Im not real pleased with it but not to bad.......gotta go to Winston today about my RA and it's cold outside. We did get a few flurries last night but not enough to even cover the ground. Thank God!!! Okay I'm gone, may have to wait and comment on your creations later...Until then, have a blessed day and happy stamping!!!

Good Morning, here is another card I made for the challenge at The Sugar Bowl. It is 5X5. I purchased this image awhile back from Funky Kits. I forget her name but she is one of my favorites!!! I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils. Each square was embossed with a different embossing folder. Added gems, flowers from Wild Orchid and Mc Gil fern. The gold under the image is one of the dollies I purchased from Joan's Garden. I stamped the sentiment using a stamp from SU and used the window punch to cut it out. Look at this, I finally got time away from those wild boys to start, make and finish a project for Joan's challenge this week. YEAH!!!! course I heard bout it from Bill, not fair he's with them all week LOL. Lifes tough boy, put on a helmet LOL. So now Bill is down in his man cave (yeah right) and I'm in here with the boys and my laptop. Life is good!!!! Lets hope I get this posted , I used a lot of my Martha Stewart stash, paper, Layered arches punch and the fern punch, Fancy Tags Three, Heartfelt Creations HCPC3415 Petite Poinsettia and the layered poinsettia die. This was the first pizza box I had ever made, I love it!!!! This is a great size for candy that I give at Christmas time. Okay, better finish this up before the boys realize I'm trying to do some thing LOL. Good morning, hope all is well in your part of the world. Rained here last night but stopped for now....I made this card yesterday after finding this site Cardablities through Rosemary D. blog. It's a sketch challenge and I love the sketch. I used Gina K 120 weight white card stock, scrapes of paper from my basket, even the leaves are cut out using the Bells Rose Die from scraps. I did stamp HCPC3374 Flora Grand 2 and HCPC3375 Flora Grande 1 on Pretty in Pink with

veras mark and white powder. Cut out with Blossoms Three. Blogger is actin up so I'm out of here, I'll catch ya later!!!!

All Things Grow

Morning, here is a quick card I made this morning so I could enter it in Annabelle Sketch Challenge. Talk about fast.........I used All Things Grow Stamp Set from Annabelle and the card stock is from Stampin UP. The piece that looks like background paper is some I made from white using a music stamp and a background stamp. Then I sponge around with pink ink. I had that laying on my counter top so I'm not sure where these stamps are form, I do know the bird background is SU. Okay like I said, fast but gotta run.......have a blessed day!!!

Howdy!!! I was visiting Sue W blog the other day and also found a new site. It's Scrapbook Boutique. Well they have a challenge, posted every month on the 10th so here is what I came up with, I'm to late to enter it but look out next time LOL!!!! I used HCPC3318 Daisy Patch Flowers ; HCD703 Daisy Patch Die ; Sentiment is Great Impressions ; Classic Petal Edgeabilities ; Fancy Tags Two ; Foliage ; and an embossing folder but don't have the name. That's it, this is short and sweet but I gotta get my shower, get ready for work and dogs to walk hehe............but so wanted to post this and show it to you so in case you want to enter the challenge you would have time!!! Hello, here is a card I made Sat. I used one of Sugar Nellies images Verity Standing. I buy mine from Funkykits. Easy to download and resize to the size you need, plus I think they are all gorgoeus!!!!
I also used some flowers I have had forever!!!! I got those about a year ago from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Other items are Spellbinders Labels Seventeen ; Cuttlebugs Kassie's Brocade ; Stampin Up Sentiment ; Martha Stewart Fern punch. That's it for now, short and sweet. I'm working on another card for a challenge, lets hope I get it done before the dead line LOL.

I'll be entering this with The Sugar Bowl challenge.

Sunday with the Roses

Last Sunday of the month and it's Roses' challenge time again. Patti Rose ask we make a Fall Card. I dreamed of one the other night and this is as close to my dream card as I could get, hehe. Ever do that???? I do a lot!!! I look at it as God helping me create!!!! It's 5X7, all card stock is from Gina K except the Always Artichoke whic is from Stampin Up. The border is punched out using Martha Stewarts corner and border punches Layered Arches. I also used Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Accents at the bottom of the image, Lakeside Cabin by Stampscapes. the Leaves are from HC HCPC3334 Open Falling Leaves and the HCD707 Falling Leaves Die. I mainly used my Prismacolor Pencils but the sky is sponged in using Night of Navy from SU. I also used clear Gelly Roll pen and placed stars around and in the tops of some of the trees. Good Morning!!! It's COLD!!! The higher mountains are also suppose to get snow....Way to early in my book. But anywho.............here is a card I finished last night, Janet it's for you, she ask me yesterday in a meeting why I didn't have a card posted on FB, so here ya go. With the puppies 3 days a week of posting is good for me, or least I think!!! I got some new Dies before leaving HC and just had to try them, 2 of them are here, Iron Works Accent and Fleur De Lis Accents. I also used HCPC3311 Hope In The Lord. Oh yeah Kassies' Brocade embossing folder. Then I loaded it up with pearls!!!! The Real Red is SU and the White is from Gina K. I love her white CS!!! Besure to check back Sunday, it's time for another Roses' Challenge. I dreamed of my card last night so can't wait to get it made today or tomorrow, it's up to do Boys LOL. Sspeaking of, they go to the Vet today for the Rabies Shot, then next month after turning the big 6 months, we'll plan on getting them fixed. Our Boys are growing up so fast. Are you ready for some HC??? It is with a sad heart, but this will be my last Wed. with HC as a team member. I have had a blast for the past year and turly have been blessed. Oh not to worry, I will still be creating and posting HC stamps, just not as a team designer..........I also want to take this time and wish the new team all the luck and blessings I can. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us!!!!.............on to this weeks card.

HCPC3415 Petite Poinsettia
HCPC3430 Shepherd Scene
HCPC3432 Magnificent Spruce Tree
other items are Layered Arches Punches, Versa Mark and Gold Embossing Powder, Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia.
My card is 5.5 X 5.5 and edged eith both the corner and border punches. Next I took 4 X 1 and used the border punch of both sides to get that look and attached to the white card base. Using the Versa Mark and Gold Powder, I stamped the sentient and the flowes. Cut the flowers out, shaped and attached everything to the card.

Casing Donna Baker

Howdy!!! Here is a card I made for Cat's Challenge over at StampTV. It's to pick and case the Design Team's card from Donna Baker. This is her card. don't ya love it!!!! Here is mine, I changed the layout just a little, different sentiment and I put flowers instead of butterflies.

I used Heartfelt HCPC3310 Trust in the Lord ; HCPC3374 Flora Grande 2 ; HCPC3375 Flora Grande 1 ; HCPC3405 Leaf Medley ; spellbinders Blossoms Three and Foliage. To shaped my flowers I use Paper Blossoms Molding Mat and Paper Blossoms Tool Kit. Makes shaping flowers so easy, it's a must have really!!!

Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations

Good Morning, yall ready for some more Heartfelt Creations! My card today is another 5x7. Products used was:
HCPC3415 Petite Poinsettia
HCPC3419 Holiday Poinsettia Candle
HCPC3420 Holiday Dove
HCPC3428 Script Christmas Tree
Fiskars Punch
Silver metallic Ink
Stickles
#908 Inka-Gold
Layered Poinsettia Die
I put the first layer down, it's black, then I stamped ramdomly around then added some 908 Purple Inka=Gold on another piece and attached that. Then I cut a piece of black, punched both sides with a fiskards punch and attached. Stamped the swirls on the purple and then stamped and cut out the candle, using 3D dots attached that. Stamped the flowers, cut, shaped and attached. Stickles was added to the center of the flower.

White Poinsettia

I am getting back to a more stable schedule with the boys........look, I'm posting this morning at 5:02, they are under feet biting and playing, you know being puppies LOL. but hey, life is good!!!!My card today is one I made a week or so ago and just haven't gotten around to posting. I used HCPC3415 Petite Poinesttia, I love this stamp set. It really is a must have. I also used Layered Poinsettia Die and embossing folders Kassie's Brocade and perfectly Paisley. Added some of those swirly gems and red stickles to finish the card. Now how easy is that. Okay, the boys are getting a little wild in here so I'm gone and will comment later, yall have a blessed day!!!

Fall Leaves

Thanks for all the well wishes about my back, think I'm gonna live. Still hurts alittle but nothing like it did!!! thank God for heating pads and Ibuprofen!!
Here is a card I made this week to enter in a challenge then didn't. It was for Crazy for Challenges, but anywho.............I used HCPC3334 Open Falling Leaves ; HCPC3328 Swirly Autumn Leaves ; and HCD707 Falling Leaves Die. At the bottom I used a piece of scrap card stock, punched the border and added leaf bards. Everything was colored in using Prismacolor Water color pencils. Gold thread was added to finish it off. Okay, that's it........The puppies are doing great, they even tell us when they need to go out to potty. Talk about smart dogs!!!!!!!! I'm gone, I'll be back later, until then, God Bless!!!!

Good morning, it's raining here but suppose to stop later this morning........it's headed north so look out up there. I didn't work yesterday, I have done something to my back so I decided to lay around and baby it, well it' didn't work. I'm still in pain!!!! Here is a card I manged to make yesterday, I simply LOVE this new Heartfelt Creations Book Frame stamp. I can do so much with it!!!! I used HCPC3434 Book Frame 2 ; HCPC3428 Script Christmas Tree and HCPC3433 Book Frame 1. I also used Labels Seven and a Fiskars punch to get the borders. I even made a 4.25x5.5 card. For my card I started by making it 5 x 7. I used HCPC3433 Book Frame, Labels Seven, Versa Mark and Gold embossing powder.
