Fold Out card tutorial

Dogwood Adventure
Eyes will pop, jaws will drop when the person receiving this card opens it. By the end of this tutorial you will be able to make one just like this, believe me, it’s a lot easier than you think!!!

You will need HCD1-7120 Fleur Border Basics, 6x6 Foldout cards, HCPC-3773 Flowering Dogwood Cling Stamp Set and HCD1-7129 Die set, HCPC-3775 Flowering Dogwood &Doves, HCD1-7131 Flowering Dogwood Doves Die, HCPC-3774 Flowering Dogwood Branches Cling Stamp Set, HCD1-7130 Flowering Dogwood Branches Die, and HCDP1-275 Flowering Dogwood Paper pack.
Go through the paper pack and pick out the 6x6 card fronts you wish to use. Trim them so they will be 1/8 of an inch small than the fold out card panel.

Get the border dies out and decide which one you want where.

Lay the die on top of the card with a piece of white card stock under it, using tape secure them in place.
Run them through the die machine and cut out.
This is what it will look like. They do not need to cover the length so don’t worry about that part.
Do the same thing with the designer paper. You can cut 2 at one time so you can cover both front and back. Be sure and put the fronts together before cutting.
With everything cut out you are now ready to glue everything in place.
For the back panel cut the HCD1-7144 Medallion die out of white card stock
Glue this on the back of the back panel then adhere to the card.
Your card is ready to decorate.
Stamp the flowers and leaves on white cardstock with Bamboo Leaves Memento ink,
Color the leaves with Bamboo Leaves and highlight the edges with Distress ink Peeled Paint.

Color the flowers with Brilliance Orchid, on the edge highlight with the Walnut Stain

Stamp the Branches and color in, use the Tombow blender pen for small areas.
Cut the frame apart.
Stamp the Doves on white card stock with Encore Metallic Silver ink, apply glue all over them and add the Crystal Clear glitter.

Mist the flowers and leaves with water and shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
With all the flowers and leaves shaped and dry, you are ready to adhere to the card.
