Sunday with the Roses'

Morning, it's the last Sunday of the month and time for another Roses' challenge.  This month Betty ask us to create a card with purple being the main color.  At least that's what i remember, if I missed something else sorry Betty.  I am in the moddle of painting the kitchen, I have the trim done, the peel and stick tiles in the bottom of the cabinets done, ( I rellay like that but man what a sticky mess LOL).  All new hardware purchased, and the back of the cabinet doors painted, so that leaves the fronts, the walls and then put the doors back up.  Hopefully I will be finished by Wed when I go back to work.  Bill helped by taking the hardware off and he doesn't know it yet but he's gonna help by putting the new on LOL.  Back to the card, I was messing around with Martha's punches, so I tried 2 differnet ones together, not bad, had to trim a little with the sissors but looks pretty good.  Then the Cherry Lynn fancilful flourish, heartfelt's posies, and Spellbinders Floral Ovals and butterfly.  I forget whose stamp, had it forever..............Okay, that's it for now, be sure and check out the rest of the Roses', they are located at the top of my blog under Roses'.  now back tot he paint brush!!!!

Spellbinders & Martha

Morning.............here is another card I made this past weekend,  I used Spellbinders Splendid Circles, I cut 1/2 out and embossed the other half.  cut another circle out (smaller) glittered it using the 2 sided sticky tape and then stamped the sentiment from Stampin Up on it.  Still needed something, I decided to punch just the corners with Martha Stewart's corner punch Spiral Arches.  Still needed something so I went with 3 of the butterflies from Spellbinders set Wonderful Wings.  They were cut out white, I rubbed Inka Gold on them to change or give them color.  Okay that's it, on a sadder note, my Grand Calibur broke again.  It broke while cutting some flowers out, can't remove the plates or my dies but , Spellbinders is once again paying for me to ship it back for repairs.  I hope I don't regret buying this thing...........this makes twice it's let me down, lets hope the 3rd time is the charm.  Yall have a blessed day and I'll be around to comment later.

Butterflies

Morning all, hope your weekend has gone to suit ya!  It's gorgeous here and I hope to get outside and relax later..........
2 cards today with one piece of 12x12 paper.  It's beautiful paper by DCWV  The Mariposa Stack, I got this awhile back but it got shoved to the back and I forgot about it.  I found the sketch challege over at The Sweet Stop and thought okay, so I winded up making 2 cards out of it. The second one is for the challenge, the twist was ruffles or faux, I am no good at that but it is what it is......I also used Spellbinders Wonderful Wings to cut a butterfly out.  The hello is a Stampin Up stamp.  The first one I also used a Martha Stewart punch for the border thingy and the Floral Ovals.  The stamp I used on it doesn't have a name on it so sorry......  I love em both and mainly it's the pretty paper, yall have a good one and many blessing to you!!!!

Good morning...........I have been missing this week.  I had jury duty in Roanoke Fed Court this week. I'm glad I had the oppunity but hope I don't have to do it again for awhile.  I would drive back and forth every day, it took me about a hour and 45 minutes to get there, traffic was awful, but anywhoo, it's behind me.  I made this card last Sunday while at Becky's also for a challenge and now can't for the life of me figure out how to upload it to enter, so I guess I won't LOL.  The items I used are Stampin Up's Full of Life set; Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Squares and Classic Squares; Cuttlebug's embossing folder; Martha Stewart punch to make the flowers and Stickles.  That's it, I'm going now to pour my coffee and come back and comment....so until the next time, God Bless!!
