Gentle Thoughts of You

Morning, I should of posted this last night, I'm so sleeply LOL. Lets see, it's another older set from Stampin Up, Garden Collage. I also used SU embossing folder, forget the name, and then Martha Stewart's Spiral Arches . It looks like I stitched down the side and around the image but not, it's fake LOL. The flower came on a card I got from Kelly, it fell off so I saved it and thought I'd use it here, matched the colors perfect. 2 for 1

Yep, here is 2 cards for one challenge. I went over and checked out the challenge at The House that Stamps Built, it's to make a card with birds. So I pulled out some of my Heartfelt Creations stamps (3383 Cardinal Posy Branch and the sentiment is from 3388 Spring Cardinals) and went to work. Then went back and was just looking around the site to see what else they had and guess what, I have 7 of their flip card sets. How to can be found here. One which is the bird, so I made a card using that one too! You know me, can't leave it plain so I embossed the background with the flip card, anywho, wish me luck and thanks Cheri for the inspiration to check that site out!!!!

Happy Birthday

Good Morning World! It's a great day to be alive in southwest Virginia. It's gonna be warm with lots of sunshine!!!! The frost this past week didn't hurt anything except my big leaf hosta's, they get bite every year, I may move them and get them closer to the house.
For my birthday this year I got a store bought card from a friend and I loved the fold, so I tried my hand at it and this is what I came up with. I started out with a 8.5 x 11 sheet of white card stock, trimmed it down to 10 x 7 and used Martha Stewart's Modern Garland border punch on both sides. then I cut some Stampin Up paper and glued it down in all 3 sections. the first part is 5x7, then the second section is scored at the 8 inch score line on the score pal. I then punched some white using MS Spiral Arches and glued it down to the center section. The image is from Inky Antics which I colored with Prisma Color Pencils. Added flowers I punched out and fern and yep, MS punches again. I should buy stock in her company LOL, love those punches. Okay that's it for now, yall take card, have a blessed day and I'll catch up later!

Hugs to You

Howdy! Here's one for no reason, I just wanted to play, started and this is what I ended up with. I used scrapbook paper from K & Company, cut it down and used the whole sheet cause it's 2 sided, I used gina K stamps Fruitful Harvest and Signs of Autumn. Martha Stewart flower punch and the Layered Arches border punch. For the sntiment I cut it out with Spellbinders classic oval and scalloped oval. I figured this could be used for most any thing...........anyway. Went to WW this morning, I have lost a total of 22.8 now, starting to drop off slower........but at least I'm lossing. Making it 17.8 yet to lose to get back to goal weight!~!!! I gained so much when i stopped smoking, but it was worth it! Okay, lets go comment and I'll catch up later!!!

I have seen them where they used 2 of the Stampin Up oval punches and doubled the ears, but I don't have those so.............Hope you have a wonderful Easter, I'll post again in the morning but I'm preposting it...........sorry I haven't been around to comment, I'll work on that to. Craft A Scene challenge #4 - Sihouette

Are you ready for another Craft A Scene challenge? This month it's Sihouettes. Look at this amazing image!!!!! When I first saw it I fell in love. I got it from Carolines Creative Stamps, which by the way is our sponsor this month. Be sure and check her out, she is fantastic with gorgeous images to choose from! All I did was layer the tree branch, and then layer the fairy onto it. Resized it to the size I wanted and tada, print it out. Super easy! I sponged the blue for the sky and added glitter to the wing. the back ground is dry embossed with Kassie's Brocade and swirly pearls. I also used Spellbinders Lacey Circle.
