A Friend Like You

Good morning, hope all is well and fine in your part of the world today. It is here for me, it's a Holiday so no workie today!!!! Perhaps I'll play...........hehe this is a card I made for 2 challenges, SweetStop and Outlawz Thur. The image is from Stamping Ups In the Garden set, the sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations 3363 Inspire Me Sentiment Set, the flower and border are from Martha Stewart, and cuttlebugs Kassie's Brocade embossing folder. The card stock (SU) and paper (??) are some I have had for a long time, I am trying to use things I have and not buy that much this year. Wonder how long this will last????? I have some things headed this way, that I have won, other than that, that's it. I have so much and hardly use most of it any more, gotta get the lastest thing, newest stamp, well you know, bet you do too. Well, I'm trying.............. that's it for now, God Bless and smile, God loves ya!!!!

I am so with you... using what I have! I'm investing my stamping money in a very needy project! It's amazing what we can create when we dig into our stash! Your creation is just beautiful as usual GF!

Hope you have an awesome day, my hubby works today, but my DD is off and it is supposed to be 75 so she and GF have plans :) love your card and the layout with that sweet image oh so perfect paper. Always gorgeousness on your blog.I made the same resolution, but it is going to be hard with all the great things I see over at the CAS online class plus the discount. We will see.

You've made yet another beautiful card!! Good luck in the challenges and I hope you win more 'stuff'!! I know what you mean about buying the latest new items out and then after a while they get scooted to the back. Guess that is why I'm getting new cabinets... to store all my junk! LOL But I'm like you, I want to use up what I have. I did good on my paper stash and had it whittled down to almost nothing... about 1/2 inch thick or less... so I bought some stacks on sale last week so I'd have more DP choice. Have a GREAT day off... hope you will stamp some more gorgeous cards today for us to see!!

Beautiful card, Olga! I've really slowed down on buying this year. It's sinful when I buy a stamp, file it away, and never bring it out again... Have a great 'no workie' day, dear girl!

Absolutely adorable! The pink flowered paper is perfect for this image of the little girl! I'm all for using it up -- the only paper I've purchased recently is white card stock from Papertrey Ink! I was always so temped (lol!) by the rows of paper pads at Michael's & Hobby Lobby!!

Olga,
Very pretty little girl! The dp is very delicate and girlie. Last year was my year not to purchase anything! LOL It went pretty well, This year I'm trying to get a larger variety of stamps so I have a few of everything to play with, 99.5% of my stamps are Gina K, with the exception of a few from the store in town.
