Challenge #1 Create a Scene

I almost didn't post this, the color looks awful, it looks yellow but it's really a light green, but it is what it is and that's all I'm gonna say LOL. I am entering this at Create a Scene, it's their first challenge!!!! I stamped my Lakeside Cabin on regular card stock, not glossy, colored it in with Prismacolor pencils, I know, most don't but I'm learning and that's why I am excited about this new site, I'll learn something LOL. I also used a Cheery Lynn Die, Fanciful Flourish(which I love), and spellbinders Labels Ten, Beaded Ovals and Petite Ovals Small. Oh yeah, Kassie's Brocade embossing folder. My card is 5X7. Now go create and enter your card. Have a blessed day and I'll catch ya later!

Olga, you have the distinction of being our very first Craft a Scene challenge entry! I think your card is lovely. I like that you used pencils to color your creation. It goes to show that there are so many techniques that can be used on these versatile stamps.

Thanks for playing in our challenge and good luck on the prize.

I really like how you colored the scene, and the dry embossed background. I like this card a lot, except maybe for the off/dark color.

You're right on the ball for entering this new challenge! This is gorgeous...I can't believe you did it on regular cs! Great job on the reflection, and the dies and embossing folder added the perfect finishing touches! Guess I better get some of mine posted!

Hi Olga, fellow DT Shaz here. I love this stamp, it seems to be one of my regular go-to's. And I know what you mean about colours showing up looking completely different from reality! It all pulls together great though, doesn't it Shaz xx
