Sunday Roses' Challenge

Good Morning, man I slept late but it felt sooooo goooood!!!!!
Here is my card for the challenge this month. At the top of my blog you will see the page titled Roses', click there to see who all is in the Roses. It was Mary Anne's turn and she wanted to see, smell and almost touch Spring flowers. Well if she goes outside right now she's gonna get wet and cold. Think Mr Winter is trying to come back.
I used a Martha Stewart punch and attached that to my 5.25 X 5.25 card base. All card stock is from Stampin up and the printed paper I think is from K&Co. I stamped the image 3 times, once on the printed, once on the dark purple, once on green and cut all those out. Then I stamped the posies on light purple and cut those out. Attaching every thing and adding some bling to the center of the cards. I put this in the mail the other day so she should get it this week. hopefully she will like it...
The dance yesterday went great, no I did not dance hehe, I helped make the mask. I do crafts remember hehe. Okay that's it for now. Yall have a great day and I'll catch up later!

Simple Pleasures

Good Morning! Hope all is well today. Here is a card I made Sunday after visiting Theresa Momber's blog Crafting the Web. She does breath taking work and such an inspiration. I loved her card she had posted so I just had to case it. I used totally different stamps and my shading is nothing like hers, I also used different border punches but the idea is the same. Hope she doesn't mind my casing her. The grass stamp is from Stampin Up's set Inspired by Nature and the butterfly is from one of Theresa's older sets. Hope Grows. Okay that's it for now, lets get ready for work, I can't play all the time ya know LOL.

The Versatile Blogger Award

Look what I got from Dee at An Inky Imagination. I first met her at Stamp TV, she is such a sweet wonderful lady. I want to call her girl but hey, she is about to get married so I guess she's an adult. Thanks Dee, you are a sweetheart to think of me.
I am to tell 7 things about me:

1. I don't like to just sit, gotta be doing something even when I am watching TV
2. I love Drama shows, Criminal Minds, CSI, NCIS Law & Order etc, you get the picture.
3. I love Nascar, I pull for Jr #88 but look out for Trevor in that #21 this year. I have met several of the drivers and been to several races.
4. I record and would not miss Lizard Lick Towing, Ice Road Truckers,Pawn Stars and Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy.
5. I need to get out more, seems all I do beside work is watch TV LOL
6.I get up early to get the chickens and birds up.
7.A lot of my card designs come to me in my sleep. Think that is God helping me out....

Shimmer Paint

Well I started to make a card last night after I got home and to be honest, I was just to tired! But still want to share some flowers I made using Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies. this is 2 different stamps sets, HCPC2242 Innoscents Flowers 2 and HCPC 2293 Sunflowers 2. Both cut out using Spellbinders Blossoms 2. What I really wanted to share is some thing Becky shared with us at the stamping club the other night. She had bought the Shimmer paint from Stampin Up page 192 in the big book, and added a little to a bottle of body spray and guess what, it shimmers! Smells good too. Anyway, I had bought some and got it that night so came home and mixed some of my own. She said to make sure it wasn't the kind that had oils in it, now what I use came from Wal Mart, you can also use that from Bath & Body. Other than that, who knows???? I did paint some directly on the tips of a few of the flowers and Oh My Stars! I love it. So all those flowers just shimmer all over the place. Okay that's it. It's my Friday so I may come in and make a card or not, anywho, I'll will see yall later!! Have a very blessed day!!!!

HCD 709 Springtime Medley Die

Other: Spellbinders Petite Oval Large, Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Ovals Small

I started with a 8.5X8.5 piece of card stock. Scored all 4 sides at 2.5 and cut up 2 of the sides so I could fold them inward to form the basket. The handle measures 1.5 X 11 and 1 X 11. I used a border punch on the smaller piece of the handle. I cut (4) 2.25x2.25 and (4) 2.25 X 3.25. Now you can either cut and place smaller design paper on or as I did just emboss and attach those to the basket. I used scor tape to assemble the basket together. After it was together I stamped and cut out my images. Using 3D dots attached the image to the scalloped piece and attached to the basket.

HCPC Flora Grande 1
Blossoms 3 Nestie
HCPC 3376 Distressed Leaves

Card measures 5X5. I cut the green 1/4 each smaller. Using Versa Mark I stamped flowers randomly around to create back ground paper. I cut 2 of the swirly dies out, cut them into and placed one in each corner. Stamped 5 flowers, 3 different sizes and cut those out. I shaded, spritzed and shaped them then using a brad put them together. Using a Z Dot, placed it in the center of my card. Stamped 4 leaves on green card stock and cut those out, sponged and shaped. Attached them just under the flower. Added pearls around to finish the card.

HCPC 3377 Sympathy Sentiment

Card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2. I was able to make this whole card using scraps form my basket except for the card base. I stared by putting design paper with solid and attaching to the card. Added ribbon and bow to one side. Stamped the sentiment and attached it with 3 D dots to the center of the card. Stamped and cut out several leaves which I placed just under the Rose. Finished the card by placing several gems along side the sentiment.

Hope yall have a blessed day! I'll catch up with ya later..........

Someone

Good Morning! I absolutely love this sentiment. It's from Heartfelt Creations new set HCPC 3372 Dutch Iris Frame. Then using the oval die I cut it out and attached it with 3D dots to my 5X5 card base. Then I cut out the HCD 710 Decorative Oval Window Die and slipped it around it. After stamping the flowers from HCPC 3375 Flora Grande, I cut those out by hand, can't wait to get the Blossoms Die 3 to cut those out with, anyway, I also stamped HCPC 3376 Distressed Leaves and hand cut those out too. They coordinate with the Nested Leaves Dies, yep, got those ordered too. It just makes cutting thins out so much easier! These are stamped on Silver Metallic card stock. So I wanted the center of the flowers to be silver too, I had nothing!! So I did end up using silver embossing powder. Works great! The design paper is from Basic Grey. That's it. Okay, I'm off to the shower and then on to work, yall have a fantastic day! Thanks for dropping by..........

Food is great too, the stamp is from Heartfelt Creation Bouquet of Cheer 627E. I also used the new HCD 711 Dutch Iris Die. The swirl is fantastic! I used the scalloped circle die also. The card stock is from Stampin Up. I added stickles and tiny gems to finish it off. Okay, that was short and sweet. Have a fantastic Monday, hope the weather is great in your part of the world!

Good Morning. Are you ready to get your socks knocked off! This is one fantastic blog hop! It's our way to say Thanks to Linda , Emma Lou and all from Heartfelt Creations for all they are, all they have given and all the support they have shown us the past several months. It has been an honor for me to be part of such an amazing and talented design team. When life starts getting to me I'd go stamp something, and before I knew it, I had left that world behind and was off in this creative world. God has blessed me so much and I truly appreciate all that Linda and Emma has done for me! Now on to the hop, if you have arrived from Angelica's blog you are in the right spot. If not go back to the beginning at Linda's and that way you can see all the gorgeous cards and projects along the way. My card is one I made using some of my favorite stamps. Saying GooodBye

I was also working on the challenge at Joan's and Raising the Bar, this is how I finished it. I know that has got to be as hard as losing a child, because our pets are our kids. I went through this a few years ago when Prissy got so sick and we had to. One of the saddest days in my life. Anyway, don't forget to drop by again later at 10:00 AM for the Heartfelt Creations Blog Hop. Lots of pretties to be seen!!!!
