Good Morning! Here is a card I made yesterday and I have sewing on it!!!!! I have been seeing a lot of cards with real stitches on them and love them, so I decided to go down to the basement and the sewing machine and give it a try. Not bad I might add LOL. I used Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3306 Posy Patch Garden Delights, HCPC 3303 Posy Patch Flowers and HCD 701 Posy Patch Die. A Martha Stewart border punch was used down the side and Kassie's Brocade was the embossing folder I used. these are tiny little gems in the center of the flowers. I am going to enter this at Fresh Brewed Blog, ribbon and Bows. That's it, short and sweet I guess. It's Monday, need I say more??? Yall have a great day and I'll catch up with ya later. Patti Roses' Challenge

It's the last Sunday of the month and time for another challenge from one of the Roses. This month it is the famous and talented Patti Rose!!!! She ask us to make a Monochrome card. Can you believe I picked purple LOL. I used Heartfelt Creations HCPC 2293 Aztec Gold Sunflower as my main flower and HCPC 2254 Leafy Swirls for the leaves. I also used various punches for more smaller flowers and leaves. The Swirls are a Sizzex die, I'm sorry, don't know the name of em, they came 3 to a pack if that helps. I got this pack of purple paper last week while in Winston, we went by Ollie's. Its a store about like Big Lots, anyway, I got this pack for $1.49, so I got 2 of em LOL. 2 sided at that!!!! The brad in the center is from Stampin Up. Okay, that's it. Go check out the other Roses and see what they came up with.
  1. Sue
  2. Kerrie
  3. Connie
  4. Kym
  5. Maryanne
  6. Betty
  7. Patti
I am also going to enter this in Stampin 4 the Weekend Monochrome Challenge and OTWC for Purple , thanks Mary Anne!

CAS

To me this is clean and simple. I love it. Went to a stampin thng the other week and Becky was hosting it, this is the card she showed us how to make. the stamp is hers from Stampin Up. I stamped it in Old Olive and the flowers were also hers. The brads I believe were Pam's. The embossing folder was mine LOL. We go and every body uses what ever, that's it for now. Got to go to the ear doctor this morning for my check up, no problems and she checks my hearing aide, then off to get the oil changed in the car. then I'll come back home and get into something. It's raining and did all day yesterday, but I am very thankful it isn't snow. Yall have a great day and I'll catch up with ya later!

Wednesday at Heartfelt Creations

Good morning, you will not want to miss Heartfelt Creations post this morning, it's sneak peak and I'm here to tell you the new ones are the most fabulous yet!!!!!
Now on to my card.
Products Used on This Project

HCPC 3365 Decorative Vintage Cross PreCut Set

Other: Spellbinders Kaleidoscope Pendant

The base of the card is 5 1/2X5 1/2. The first sheet of Websters Pages I trimmed back to 5 1/4 all the way around and set it to the side. The second sheet is also 5 1/4 X 5 1/4. I folded the corners in but not quite in the center. I wanted some of the back side to show. After getting it where I wanted I turned ot over, applied Scor Tape and ribbon and turned back over. Attached the second sheet to the first sheet. Placed 4 white brads and attached to the card base. Cut the pendant out and stamped the sentiment in the center. Attached it to the card and placed flowers around.
Before I head out wanted to let you know and give thanks again for my brother Coy. Most of you know he's a LCDR in the Navy which he has severed for about 34 years give 1 or 2.
I’m not sure if you all heard about the yacht that was hijacked. Coy’s ship was involved in trying to rescue the hostages. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out as they hoped. Coy’s ship was fired upon by the pirates with a rock grenade. Luckily they missed. They were only 600 yds away too. I can only imagine what they all felt at that time and what they are feeling now. I thank God he kept them all safe. Thank you for all your prayers on keeping them safe.
Okay, that's it for now, off to the shower then on to work. It's one of my long days so be safe, have fun and I'll catch ya later!

Inspired by Nature

That's the challenge over at Allsorts challenge blog. Hope all these flowers count. I made this one yesterday while playing and Bill was on the computer. It's kinda fun at times when we're both in there together doing our thing and chatting back and forth sharing what he found and what I made LOL. I used Heartfelt Creations sentiment from Decorative Vintage Cross, Daisy Patch Flowersmatching die. The card stock is scrapes from my basket but I'm thinking most of it is from Basic Grey. I also used a Martha Stewart corner and border punch. Tiny gems were placed around to finish the card and micro beads were placed in the center of the flowers. Okay that's it for now. It's off to Winston Salem today, Bill and I both have doctor appointments. At least it's cheaper on gas, 2 for 1 LOL. I'll catch up with yall later, until then, have a fantastic blessed day! and

Did you see Sue. W. post the other day? I fell in love with Joy. she is a gorgeous digital drawing I got at Funky Kits. Well I got a total of 4, they are all beautiful!!!!! So after coloring her I put her together like so. I used Websters Pages, which by the way makes making a card so darn easy!! I cut the ovals out using some nesties, and the flowers are store bought I have had forever!!! The leaves I cut out using Provo Craft die.
Okay on to Bill, he goes one day next week for another MRI and then back to this doctor in 2 weeks. So really we didn't find out anything. But this doctor sounds very knowledgeable so keep praying!!! Oh yeah it snowed about a half inch last night, that much isn't bad, but I still hate it LOL. And did you see the picture of the dog on my side bar? We were watching TV last night when it came on and we both said Bandit! So I ran and got the camera, it's a little yellow becuase I forgot to turn the flash on but you get the idea! You all have a fantastic day, guess I'll go to work!!!! I'll catch up to you later!

I really like how this one turned out. I used Provo Craft fancy corners and punched out 8, turned them around to get the corner treatment. Then stamped my image which is from Heartfelt Creations, it's called Spring Time Joys, 1141D, isn't she cute. Anyway, colored her with Stampin Up markers and then cut another piece 1/4 inch larger, ran the gold pen along the edge and placed it in then center of the card then used 3D dots and placed the image. Used flowers I purchased from Wild Orchid and punched out some leaves. In the corner I placed a flower I got for my birthday. Thanks! Okay that's it, it's gonna be a long day at work, I always work until 8PM on Mon and Wed, but then I'm off on Fridays. Yall have a blessed day and I'll catch up with you later.

Have a Wonderful Birthday!

I love this stamp set from Heartfelt Creations. It may be my favorite. HCPC 3301 Hydrangea/Posy Branch with HCPC 3303 Posy Flowers. The sentiment is from the new set HCPC 3363 Inspire Me Sentiments. My card is 5X5 and colored with Stampin Up markers. I made this one a while back and was waiting for the release of the sentiment stamps before posting. I stamped my image, colored it in, then stamped (I think 21) of the smallest posies and popped them on. It's so easy to cut them out with the HCD 701 Die Cut. Placed a tiny pearl in the center of each. The butterfly is a sticker. Used 2 different ribbons at the bottom, pink and white butterflies. But I guess you could say flowers, oh well, what ever you want LOL. Okay, that's it, I do hope and pray everyone is warm and safe from the storms that is hitting the country. I am blessed NOT to be in all that ice and snow but I'm feeling it for ya. Off to get my shower then off to work. You all have a blessed day and I'll catch up with ya later!
