Pink

Every thing is pink except her jeans! Really didn't plan it that way but hey, I kinda like it! This is a card I made last night for the sketch challenge over at Outlawz. It's fairly new stamping/scrap booking site. If you haven't jumped in yet go check em out. Reminds me of the old Stamp TV before every thing changed and got crazy over there. Well maybe I shouldn't of said that but you know me, speak your mind. Every thing on this card except the white base came out of the scrap basket. The image (from Sarah Kay) I also had laying on the desk not being used. I remember using all of these papers on one of Stella pages, and they are from Martha Stewart! Well I got the whole house cleaned yesterday plus the laundry. Gotta go to Weight Watchers this morning then waiting for Becky to call when she gets her house cleaned and I'm going up (she lives behind me) and we gonna play. She is the one who really got me into scrap booking more. Okay that's it for now, go check out the new site and I'll drop back in and let ya know if I lost any or not. I am really trying, writing every thing down, no cheating and if I don't lose this week I may just hang it up! so pray for me!!!

No card YET! Just wanted to drop in and say Thanks to everyone who joined us in the hop yesterday whether it was to make a card or just comment. You helped pull it off and I know Colleen was surprised and thrilled.
To answer a question everyone has been asking this week, the picture of the beautiful older lady I posted this week is of my Mother-In-Law. My mom died almost 20 years ago, but I think had she lived, she be as gusty as maw is. Yall have a great day and stay safe and warm, don't tell Mary Anne it's snowing again and headed her way, I think she may sit down and just cry!

I love you

Okay, I just have not had time since Christmas to stamp much, and when I do get time I wanta play with my new toys, LOL. But I took time today and made this for Joan's challenge #2. I used striped paper from my basket, a bow I made with the bow easy, flowers I had left over from a Roses challenges and leaves from my stash. I love the HFC leaves, I sat one day and stamped a bunch and cut em out so now I just reach and grab em. My embellishment is the red bling, I could not find a button I was happy with. That's it.
I have a question for all you out there that use a Big Shot, I do and LOVE it!!! But what is the white cutting matte called I need to use in order to cut out my nesties? It's solid white plastic but I can't find one on the net cause I don't know what it's called. Thought I was ordering it and got the clear plastic Sizzix plates instead, which I will use one day just not now LOL. The one I have now is cracked and I'm afraid it's gonna die on me so please HELP! and where can I get one????? Thanks!

1 Year Old

Good Morning, I know I am missing a lot here lately but it's work, life and other things that pop up, I am still here just also busy. Here is a page layout I finally got done of Liam on his 1st BD. This was back in July, see how far behind I am lol. I used my new Gypsy to create the yellow back ground, how cool is that, then using my new Cricut Expression and Mickey and Friends cartridge, made Mickey! It is so much fun! Oh yeah, cut the balloons out too with yet another cartridge, forget which one cause I was playing with the gypsy then all I had to do was hook it up to the CE and cut them out! That's it for now, oh yeah, yesterday at WW I lost another .8 pounds. Not a lot but hey, at least I lost!!!!!

Took the yellow matte and punched around it to make my border for the picture. Placed the photo of Stella in the center at an angle and stamped the sentiment below it. Then I stamped several of the flowers out on colored card stock and cut those out, shaded and sprayed, set aside. Stamped the leaves, cut them out, misted and shaped those too and set aside to dry. After every thing was dry and using 3D dots, I started placing them around the circle. Last thing I added was the 2 Humming birds.

Thomas the Train

Morning! Well it snowed again last night, don't think to much but the roads are white, it's also Weight Watcher morning. Wish me luck, as long as I didn't gain over the holidays I'll be okay, most people do hehe.
Here are 2 more pages, these are of Aiden, he absolutely loves Thomas the Train. If you will notice the wrapping paper, it's Thomas the Train. I used my Cricut to cut the words, stars and train out. Don't rrmembr but I thinks it's 4 different cartridges. Guess I need to try and remember which ones and I'll do better, the words were from Classic Fonts, the first train is from B is for Boy, the second train is from Playtime, but I can't remember which one I found the star off of, it's on my Gypsy, and really it's not even a star, but hey it worked! Okay, I have gotten OCD over my new toys, but right now I am lovin them~!!!! I am getting around to doing some of the boys pictures, speaking of which, these are 2 more pages for Create with Bubbe 's challenge to use your stash. Well hope pictures that are a year old and card stock works, her challenge goes for another week. She gives great prizes, hey, it's where I got my Gypsy, so check her out. 18 Years Old

Remember when you were 18, top of the world, knew every thing, bless your heart, your parents just didn't know any thing! Yep, we all go through that stage in life don't we. Just to wake up one day and discover you are your parents, you are the one that doesn't know every thing (according to your kids), you are still learning something new every day, we are more thankful for what we have and not worried about what we don't. This is the only picture I have of me when I was 18, with my parents who have since went to Heaven. About 34 years ago the house where all my belongings were stored burn to the ground, I lost all my pictures. Family members gave me a few over the years so that's why I am down to this ONE. I did this page for 2 challenges, over at Soul Scrappers Mary ask we do one of when we were 18 years old, and over at Create with Bubbe to use some of your stash! The stash is the flowers and leaves, I have cut a lot out of the Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies so when I need flowers I just pick em out of the can. Oh yeah, got my Cricut Expression yesterday! I was gone all day to Winston to see my doctor and didn't get home until 7PM, just to find an email from Wal- Mart saying my site to store order was ready for pick up. Guess what I did, yep, got right back in the car and went and picked it up! The date and letters were cut out using the Classic Font. I am gonna love this machine. Okay, getting late, gotta get the house clean and laundry done, it snowed last night and they say more is coming so lets get er done! Have a great day!!!

Wednesday, January 5, 2011

Most of you know I got a new toy to play with, the Gypsy thanks to a wonderful blogging and design team sister, Peggy Cain. I won this off her blog in a challenge!!!! I have been playing with it and having a ball!!!! This is for her challenge over at her blog Create with Bubbe to use your stash. Well all of these characters were made from my stash of card stock. Scrap card stock at that. What a great way to use it up!!!! These cute little guys are my youngest GS, yep they are brothers. Aiden is 3 and Liam is 1. I use the Cricut lite cartridge B is for Boy. I just had to buy one. I knew I would use this one a lot with the guys! I may get a few of their pictures scarped now LOL. Wish me luck with her challenge, or you could come on over and enter! Thanks for dropping by and looking! I really do appreciate all your wonderful and sweet comments!!!

Happy 2011! I was asleep last night when it began but I see it still happened. I use to think I had to stay up or else! Just another thing you learn with age LOL. Another page, I entered this one over at Soul Scrappers for the challenge what you can't live without. this is about 19 years ago, poor ole Bill is grey headed now and we're both bigger, and with less hair LOL. The 3 smaller flowers I got yesterday in a bag of goodies for winning one of the challenges at Soul Scrapper, I also got my Gypsy yesterday, now if my Cricut Expression would just get here. Well that's it for now, coffee is ready, then I am gonna clean this house today and get all the Christmas stuff put back up. Yall have a great one and until the next time, Happy Stamping!
