Happy Mothers Day!

Thought I would share a picture and story about my Mom being it's Mothers Day.........
She was 5 foot tall and I think the most she ever weighted was 110 soaking wet, needless to say, I didn't take after her. She passed away May 12th, 1991 on Mothers Day. She had been sick for about 6 years and was in and out of hospital all that time. The doctors finally said okay, this is it, she won't go home again, but she did. On Friday my sister took her back home, then on Sunday morning Charlotte found her. She had went home to Jesus around 3 Am is what they decided. She always said she would like to be home when her time came so I'm glad she got her wish. She was an amazing lady and I was so blessed to call her Mom.

It's hard to lose a parent and the special days are reminders of that, but I know that you are also an amazing lady and will make the best out of the day that celebrates YOU! Happy Mother's Day to you , my friend :) xx00x

Olga, what a beautiful lady she is...they are always with us looking down and protecting. What a sweet story you shared, she looks like she could light up a room when walking into it. Even though it may be tough, have a great day and keep those memories close to heart.

Well Kiddo, sounds like my mom who also died in 1991 and she only weighed 66# at the end but she was a fighter. She too had been sick for several years and died May 22nd, the day after my daughter's 30th birthday. She was bound determine not to spoil her birthday....LOL Lots of fond memories that will last a lifetime for both of us. They are gone but still here in our hearts. Enjoy your beautiful day and do something special just for you. God loves you and so do I. Happy Mother's Day! "Hugs" Carol

I love her smile! Our mothers are always with us I think; guiding us along the way. I can still hear my mother's voice sometimes when I say something that she used to say. She was a huge part of who I am today and I will love her always for the knowledge she gave me. Happy Mother's Day Olga!

Thats such a nice story to share Olga :) Made me think of my mum too. She never liked hospitals, and I spent her last day with her all day, just caring for her. I am so proud and glad I did.

hugs
