Summer Mailbox

Good Morning World! Hope all is great in your part of the world. As some of you know we had a bit of a scare here Sat. Michelle was here and I was fixing lunch when some of the electrical stuff and lights started popping and cracking, lights would go dim then real bright, things plugged in to outlets would pop and start smoking, very scary. So I called the man who has done some work for us around the house and he came and checked it out and turned the main box OFF! No power then. He called and reported it at 1PM. Said they would be here around 3-4PM no problem. Well we finally got power back on at 3:30AM. Who knew she meant AM instead of PM, yeah I laugh now but Sat. I could have killed LOL. My blood pressure was so high I had smoke coming out of my ears LOL. Anyway, we lost and had to replace 3 surge protectors and that was it. Thank You Sweet Jesus! We could have lost the whole house! Anyway, it's over.
Here is a card I had made Sat morning before all this drama took place. It's one of Heartfelt Creations older stamps but I absolutely love it! It's called Summer Mailbox 1358F. I stamped it and colored it in with Prisma Color Pencils. Card stock is from Stampin Up and added black pearls to finish it off. Hope you like.
Okay, that's it for now. It's Monday and back to work so yall have a fantastic week and I'll catch ya later!

OMGosh, Olga, what a scary ordeal with the power on Saturday! I'm glad nothing more serious happened. Our lights flickered a few times on Saturday and we thought we were going to lose power, but we didn't. In our case, it was from the wind. Your mailbox card is gorgeous! Great coloring!

I would have been running for the hills, after I collected my crafting stuff :) Love your card, CAS and love mailbox images, I see them, but never buy them, hmm....will have to take care of that. I am not all that organized, I paper clip the SU DP to the piece of cardboard that comes with the pack and the name is on the back, that is how I know the name, otherwise forget it, unless it is in a stack. :)Have a good one.

I'm so glad to hear that all is well with your home, electrical problems are not fun and very frustrating! Your card is really soft and pretty. I love the clean and simple style it has. Thanks for sharing!

Thankful everything is ok and no damage was done. Who would have thought 3 AM? I love, love, love that mailbox image.....great coloring....I can never decide which would be better - Prisma pencils or markers. I usually wind up using the pencils because I have more colors in those :) Have a great week, Olga!!!

I like the simpleness of this card - it lends just thr right touch to focus on the mailbox. I like this mailbox better than some of the others we've used. I miss being on the team! Hugs!
