Saying GooodBye

I did make another card yesterday, a friend of Michelle, John, had to have his dog of 13 yeas put down and she ask would I make her a card to give him. I was also working on the challenge at Joan's and Raising the Bar, this is how I finished it. I know that has got to be as hard as losing a child, because our pets are our kids. I went through this a few years ago when Prissy got so sick and we had to. One of the saddest days in my life. Anyway, don't forget to drop by again later at 10:00 AM for the Heartfelt Creations Blog Hop. Lots of pretties to be seen!!!!

My heart goes out to Michelle's friend, this is such a difficult time for a pet lover. I know this is such a lonesome and heartbreaking time but I hope your lovely card will let him see that he is not alone. Friends always make such a difference.

This is awesome and perfect for what it's needed for. So hard to loose a beloved pet.

What a nice friend to make a card for your friend and such a beautiful card it is. The sentiment is perfect. I never had a real pet except all the ones we had on the farm when I was growing up on the farm. But a couple a years ago my son had to put his first dog down and I really felt it. I never really knew how much I like Alex. He was so big and so gentle with the grandsons from day one. I still miss him.

This is so beautiful, not the typical 'pet' condolence. I agree they are part of our family, like a small child.

I love this sentiment and my heart goes out to someone losing a beloved pet. We grieved so much when we had our dog of 14 years put down we were NeVer getting another one.... Well, 2 months later we got not one but 2....lol Beautiful card Olga. "Hugs" Carol
