Wednesday at Heartfelt Creations

Good morning, you will not want to miss Heartfelt Creations post this morning, it's sneak peak and I'm here to tell you the new ones are the most fabulous yet!!!!!
Now on to my card.
Products Used on This Project

HCPC 3365 Decorative Vintage Cross PreCut Set

Other: Spellbinders Kaleidoscope Pendant

The base of the card is 5 1/2X5 1/2. The first sheet of Websters Pages I trimmed back to 5 1/4 all the way around and set it to the side. The second sheet is also 5 1/4 X 5 1/4. I folded the corners in but not quite in the center. I wanted some of the back side to show. After getting it where I wanted I turned ot over, applied Scor Tape and ribbon and turned back over. Attached the second sheet to the first sheet. Placed 4 white brads and attached to the card base. Cut the pendant out and stamped the sentiment in the center. Attached it to the card and placed flowers around.
Before I head out wanted to let you know and give thanks again for my brother Coy. Most of you know he's a LCDR in the Navy which he has severed for about 34 years give 1 or 2.
I’m not sure if you all heard about the yacht that was hijacked. Coy’s ship was involved in trying to rescue the hostages. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out as they hoped. Coy’s ship was fired upon by the pirates with a rock grenade. Luckily they missed. They were only 600 yds away too. I can only imagine what they all felt at that time and what they are feeling now. I thank God he kept them all safe. Thank you for all your prayers on keeping them safe.
Okay, that's it for now, off to the shower then on to work. It's one of my long days so be safe, have fun and I'll catch ya later!

I am loving these latest projects! They have a hint and feel of vintage ephemera.

First thank God everyone was safe on the ship and also for your brother and the other ladies and gentlemen serving on that ship. It is so said how it all turned out, it must have been tough for all. Now on a lighter topic, your card is beautiful, love how you put it all together, the die and all the flowers, you always arrange and group them so well. Have a great day.

Wow! I can't believe your brother was on one of the Navy ships, Olga! Thank God they are safe. Saying a prayer for the families of the victims, though. Very sad. Your card is gorgeous - I love the Webster's papers and the layout you used! Beautiful medallion!

Olga,
I'm glad your brother and his shipmates are safe. As for the rest can I just say I'm discussed with what this world has become. What in world is the purpose of just killing people?
Love your card.

What a tragic story this turned out to be for those Americans on that Yacht, but how fortunate that your brother, or any of the other Sailors, were not injured. Thank God for that and I too join the others here in thanking Him for the brave men and women who serve this country with such courage and selflessness.

Your card is GORGEOUS, GF!!! Beeuuuutiful!!!!

Olga, I was sorry to hear that the hostage situation ended tragically but also that the pirates fired on a US ship....didn't even know when I heard it that someone on that ship was related to a cyber-friend. So glad everyone on the ship is ok and especially your brother. What a frightening experience!
p.s. love your card :)

I am at a loss for words over that whole sensless tragedy, Olga. I am so glad your brother and crew are safe, but they must be heartbroken to have been so close and yet so far. You have created a beautiful card, Olga and I always look forward to your gorgeous posts with Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies!

First of all, thank you God for keeping them safe. Please thank you to your brother for serving us and keeping us free. Your card is gorgeous!!!! It looks like a 'hankie', like my grandmother used to have, with lace edges and embroidery.

How exciting to have a family member dedicated to serving his country in such a brave way. I'm sure he was devastated they could not safely rescue the hostages. God was definately watching out for him and the crew and will keep him safe.

Your card is beautiful Olga! I'm lovin your new style kiddo and the colors you've used here. That flower with the jewel is so pretty. "Hugs" Carol
