Merry Christmas to You

Good Morning. It's raining like crazy out there this morning, dread going out but I must. Work is awaiting LOL. Here's a card I made this past weekend and I am not happy with it at all. Just didn't turn out like I was hoping so..... When I first showed it to Bil he said it was too white to add something red, so I added the ribbon and bow. I used Heartfelt Creations HCPC 2134 Holly Border/Cardinal Branch stamp set. Martha Stewart punches, and card stock is Whisper White from Stampin UP. Okay, lets hit the shower, we are to get 1-3 inches of rain today, I may float away if I don't sink LOL. Quack-Quack!!

Here is my card I made for the challenge over at Stampin Sisters in Christ I love that site, last week didn't have time to enter so I got right on it this week LOL. We are asked to create a card or project of encouragement or congratulations. I used Heartfelt Creations sentiment from the set HCPC 3311 Hope in the Lord. As I have said in the past, this is my favorite verse in the whole Bible, I believe it whole heartily!! So many times I have had to ask God for help, he's always there. He is Awesome! Okay, that's it I'm gone, have a wonderful day. It's off to work for me, catch ya later!!!!

Good Morning! cold outside, not as cold as it is out where Selma & Patti are, they got some of the white stuff. Any who, it's time for the Roses challenge. There are 8 of us now, Kym W., Connie L., Patti N., Mary Anne K., Kerrie M., Sue W. and me. Connie was the host this month and ask us to create a book mark. I have been wanting to do one of these corner bookmarks since I first saw them, how easy! I used scrap paper, Martha Stewart border punch, HFC for the leaves and sentiment, Marvy punches to make the flowers. I love em, plan on making about 4 more for gals at work who read a lot. Me, I'm to busy now stamping, who has time to read LOL. Okay I still read just not as much. Okay that's it, yesterday I didn't stamp to much but did get in here and clean and re-organize a few things, made my room seem bigger. All my ribbon is together now, well almost, for a gal who can't tie a bow, I sure have a lot of ribbon LOL. Yall have a great Sunday and I'll drop back later!

Lets just pray they can eat my cooking LOL. Charlie and Julie came by Wed. night on their way to GA. Tommy and his family are in AL but our thoughts are with them. 2 Cards, 2 challenges

Good Morning. I have 2 cards for 2 challenges today! First one is for Joan's Gardens.
1. Create a Thanks giving card
2. Use something Fallish such as Leaves, Pumpkins or Indian Corn (if you don't have a stamp use a leaf from your tree.
3. The color Green.

4. Some kind of swirl or vine.
Okie dokie. If anyone really wants to hurt me take away my punches and die cuts. I used Heartfelt Creations stamps HCPC 3330 Elegant Autumn Swirl, HCPC 3334 Open Falling Leaves and the matching diecut 707 Falling Leaves. The sentiment is one I got years ago with no name on it so sorry! Hope you can see the sparkle, it's really pretty in real life. sponged around the white to soften it with Tim
Holtz ink Peeled Paint.

The second card is for Peggy Cain's Create with Bubbe Verses challenge. I have had this stamp for ever! And I use it for so many occasions! It is made out of scrap paper and I punched around the edges and ran ribbon through it. I love how it turned out! Added a tiny Rose to finish it off.

Okay I gotta run, or I'm gonna be late for work! I'll catch up to you later!

Verses Rubber Stamps Challenge

Good Morning World! Wide awake and raring to go LOL, yeah right. That's that mind over matter, if you don't mind it don't matter LOL. Here is another card I made for the challenge going on over a Peggy's blog Create with Bubble, for Verses Rubber Stamps challenge. If you've never been to her blog check it out. Great prizes and I want it LOL. This is a beautiful verse I stamped on Ivory and cut out with labels seventeen. I used the corner pieces from a Martha Stewart punch to go under that. At the bottom it's a larger MS border punch and I dotted the white dots around it with a opaque marker. Yep, there is more of those 3-D flowers at the top and red gems finished it off. At least I didn't mess this one up. Thanks to all who felt my pain yesterday, glad I'm not alone in the world of messing up a good card for a challenge LOL. Yall have a great day and Patti, hope your birthday was all you dreamed of yesterday and glad you enjoyed my singing LOL! It's all about YYOOUU!

Okay, joke of the day, Linda sent this to me and I'll still laughing!
I recently saw a
distraught young lady weeping beside her car.
'Do you need some help?' I asked.

She
replied, 'I knew I should have replaced the
battery to this remote door unlocker. Now I
can't get into my car. Do you think they
(pointing to a distant convenience store) would
have a battery to fit this?'
'Hmmm, I don't
know. Do you have an alarm, too?' I asked.
'No, just this remote thingy,' she answered,
handing it and the car keys to me. As I
took the key and manually unlocked the door, I
replied, 'Why don't you drive over there and
check about the batteries. It's a long walk....'

Sweet Season

Okay, this is the 2nd card I made for Joan's Garden challenge and managed to mess up both of them up. The first one didn't have a ornament, I used snowmen, this one is not on the front and has nothing fuzzy! I give up. I still like the card, I used Websters Pages (I purchased from Joan) and I must say, Love it!!!! I also used Heartfelt Creations stamps.
HCPC3338 Petite Medallion Background
HCPC 3341 Church in the Wild wood
HCPC 3345 Snowflake Medley
HCPC Snowflake Medallions
I also tied a bow on the front, I know it's not perfect but hey!!!! I really hate I can't use this in Joan's challenge but, just wasn't meant to be! I may go ahead and enter the first one, snowmen and all LOL. I'm gone later and have a good one.
Okay, thanks Mary Anne, I added Flower Soft to the top of the 2 trees on the right, the swirl was embossed with Gold powder!!!!

Birthday

Okie dokie, Here's another card I made today. Mary Anne this is the one I was making when you ask if it was pretty, so here's your chance, you tell me LOL. The sentiment is from Verses Rubber Stamp . They have wonderful stamps! The Ribbon I got from Joan's Garden this week and the flowers are 3-D. The pieces in each kit are die-cut....just pop them out and pop them up with foam tape or foam dots! Each piece is numbered, so that you know the order to adhere them. How you assemble the pieces is your choice.....start with the large layer and add one piece at a time, or start at the highest number (usually the smallest pieces) and assemble each 3D piece before adhering to the main panel. I always try and stock up when I go to Enchanted Cottage! Okay, that's it for now. Think Michelle is fixing to leave so I must go tell her bye. I'll catch yall later!

Heroes

Morning, am I late posting or what! I have been up since 4:30 AM (thanks Bandit) but just getting around 2 it. I fixed breakfast, showered and done some laundry, now it's time to play. I made this card out of scrapes except the white base. The sentiment is from Verses Rubber Stamps. I love this sentiment. The minute I saw it I knew who I was going to send or give it to. A friend of mine who is a social worker and deals with children. She has a rough job from time to time so maybe this will perk her up some to know she is appreciated. Okay that's it for now. I was working on a card for Joan's challenge and just when I finished it discovered I didn't do as she said, so I'm gonna start over LOL. You may see me later!

Yellow!

Okay, been working on Christmas cards and just needed a break. How's this for sunny & bright! Reminds me of the time I painted the bathroom yellow, Tommy came in from school that afternoon and looked at it, then turned and said "Little Yellow isn't it"? It was maybe a little over the top, so the next day I painted it again, not yellow LOL
This is an older stamp set from Stampin Up called "In the Garden". Colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. Any you know I used those MS punches. Also used some of those store bought flowers were ya build em your self. Okay that's it, I am working on more cards for different things so busy busy. The main one I'm working on now is a mini challenge for the Roses. Such a fun group! Yall have a great day and who knows, I may be back!!!

I embossed the purple piece with Kassie's Brocade folder, guess it's my favorite cause I pick it all the time, colored her again with Prismacolor Pencils, then punched punched and punched. Oh yeah, the ovals are cut out with nesties, added pearls and it's all finished! Okay thats it for now, I may be back later today, but right now the coffee is ready LOL. Have a great day!

It's Cold Outside

Here is the other stamp from Sarah Kay I got from Joan's Garden. Don't ya just love her! I am entering this in Stampin Sister in Christ weather challenge.I took my time coloring her hehe. All the paper on this except the white base and large burgundy are scraps. Not bad uh? I absolutely love my punches and dies. How did I ever make a card with out one of those or the embossing folders. I couldn't pick a favorite. I just love em all! I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils. Added pearls and tada! Well it's Tue night, I'm tired, gonna watch TV and gonna fix this where is post in the morning. Someone ask me today if I really got up that early, well yes I do, most the time Bandit gets me up around 4:30 AM, but the clock is set for 5 AM. So until later, have a blessed day and Happy Stamping!

Best Friends

Look what I got in the mail yesterday! My new Sarah Kay stamp from Joan's Garden. I just love these girl stamps, of course it reminds me of Stella. I saw this layout on SCS and I'm thinking it was Andrea Ewen's card. Forgive me if I'm wrong, it's that age thing. I love all these punches and what you can do with them, how did I ever get along without them??? Oh yeah, they are Martha Stewart's corner and border punches. The card stock is from Stampin Up. Colored with Prismacolor Pencils and the oval was cut out with a oval classic nestie. It's Kassie's Brocade embossing folder. Not my best coloring but hey, I'm far far away from being perfect so it's good enough LOL, I got the fense way to dark, I may change the image later. Okay gotta run, time I get my shower, drink 2 cups of coffee, read emails and this or that it will be time to hit the door for work. Yall have a great day and I'll catch ya later!!!

Old Woman

I love this image of the old lady. Patti N. from Stampersize stamped this off last year and sent it to me I think for my birthday. Well this morning I started out making a male birthday card and this is what I ended up with but I love it!!!!The background stamp is Stampscapes which I sponged around with Stampin Up inks. She is colored in with Prisma Pencils and OMS. The little fence is something I picked up somewhere and the flowers are some I made that were left over from something LOL. I used a Martha Stewart corner and border punch to create the background border. Overall I love this card, now who to send it to cause the guy ain't getting it LOL.
Would also like to welcome Mary Anne to our vase of Roses, now there is 8 of us!. She has accepted the invite and I'm looking forward to her joining us!
It's Sunday morning and I will post this Monday morning!
So I hope you had a wonderful Sunday and a blessed Monday!

Okay, now on to my card LOL. this is one I made for Joan's challenge. I played a lot yesterday and did a few challenge cards. I miss it and just have to make time to play LOL. This week Joan ask us to:

Okay tha'ts it, coffee is ready and I'm ready for it. Bandit got me up so he could go out, atleast he didn't go in the house LOL. Have a great weekend and yall take care. Hope Linda and Mary Ann are feeling better!

2nd Post today!

I'm on a roll, trying to catch up on some pretty awesome challenges out there. This one is for Bizzy Becs, to create a cute card. I hope this one counts. I think the Sarah Kay image is cute, which I colored with Prisma Pencils. the flowers I made with vellum and punches. I also used 2 different punch sets from Martha Stewart to make the borders. Punched out the leaves and then put it all together. Hope you like. Okay, the 1st post had the secret in it so ya gotta scroll down and find the answer. I'm mean uh???? This is also for Theresa Momber's challenge over at Stamp TV, to use odds. I used 5 flowers.

Good Morning! Rained yesterday and they say again today, cold, oh my stars! Don't ya love the way I get up and give you the weather report? Maybe I should change jobs, if I was the weather lady I'd keep it around 75 with sunny skies during the day and rain at night LOL. Okay my card: It was on the Heartfelt Creations blog this week so I hope you have already seen it. we went out to eat last night and I just didn't feel like playing when we got home, so I sacked out on the sofa and watched TV. I'll do better today I promise. Here is the info for the card:
Products Used on This Project

HCPC 3336 Ornament Medallions PreCut Set
HCD 702 Decorative Butterfly Border DieCut
Labels Ten Nestie
Scallop Oval Large Nestie

Card measures 4 ¼ x 5 ½. Second layer is 5 ¼ x 4. I used my ScorPal and scored around the edges and corner to corner and every ½ inch. Used Gold pen around the edges. Cut out 4 of the Decorative medallions. Cut one of the large scalloped ovals and 1 of the Labels 10. On that one I stamped one of the ornaments form the set HCPC3336 Ornament Medallion. I put some gold Stickles in each little dot to make it pop. I also attached 6 gold gems and gold ribbon to finish the card.

That's it for now. Okay to let yall in o the secret yes Patti is pregnant LOL. couldn't resist! You all know we have our little Roses Group. Patti has been a very good supporter from day one, so we all decided to add a rose to our vase. Connie ask her and she accepted. So now there is 7, Betty, Sue, Kerrie, Kym, Patti, Connie an myself. This is an image I had colored so I guess I cheated, all I did this morning was embossed down the side and rounded the corners. Attached every thing and ta da! I can not find this stamp this morning to let you know where it's from. It's buried in the closet some where. I'll try and find it and let ya know later. All card stock is from Stampin Up. I do love their card stock! Until then, have a great blessed day and Happy Stamping!!!
