Trim the Tree

Here is another card using one of the stamps from the Winter Wonderland Collections that was released this week at Heartfelt Creations! It's HCPC3336 Ornament Medallion, I also used 1233H Holly Swirl, HCD 705 Holly/Ornament Diecut. The ornament is stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with white. I cut it out using the Holly/Ornament diecut and attached it on the Fleur De Lis pendant. I used Versa Mark and stamped randomly over the red to make my back ground. Using a Martha Stewart border punch I made one strip and added a smaller piece of red on top of that then added ribbon. Using 3D dots I attached the pendant. I then punched out 4 corners using a Die from Sizzex and attached those. Both clear and red gems were added to finish my card off. Hope you like it and be sure to check out the whole collection that Heartfelt Creations released this week. There is so many things you can do with these wonderful stamps! That's it for now, thanks for dropping by, I do appreciate it and your wonderful comments!

Ornament

Good Morning. It's Wed and I'm off to work today. At least it isn't raining now LOL. If you haven't gone over to Heartfelt Creations yet do so. Emma Lou has a video on how to make one of the most gorgeous cards I have ever seen. Mine to day is from the same collection she is using, Snowflake Medley swirl, and the Elegant Snowflake Medallion. I used the Holly/Ornament die to cut this out. I first stamped the swirl and clear embossed it, sponged red ink on and then removed some to let the white pop through. Attached the ornament and added ribbon and pearls to finish it off. I do hope you like my card, don't forget to stop by Heartfelt Creations for some of the most breath taking creations you could see. Have a great day and until the next time, Happy Stamping!!

Leaves & Pumpkins

Good morning! Been raining off and on all night and man does that make for good sleep. Bill got up early so I followed him LOL. Had to post this anyway so now I won't have to hurry. I used Gina K Ivory for the base and Stampin Up new purple( forget the name) I embossed it with the pumpkin folder by Cuttlebug. I stamped the leave with versa mark and used Pearl X powder to color it in, The stamp is Heartfelt Creations Bold Falling Leaves, the sentiment is from the set All Seasons Tree that I stamped on Label 10. I used the diecut Falling Leaves to cut the leaf out and used 3D dots to pop it up. Added Ribbon and 4 gems to finish it off. That's it, hope you have a great day, I'm off to work! Be sure and check out Heartfelt Creations blog after midnight tonight.

Roses' Challenge

It's time for the Roses' Challenge again, Betty Benton, Sue , Kerrie, Connie, Kym and I. We all met over at StampTV and became very good friends. We started these challenges about 6 or 7 months ago and they are a lot of fun. This month is hosted by Kym Weber. She wanted us to do a decoupage project. I have lots of these flowers on hand so at the last minute I used foam dots and put them together. I embossed the white using the Brocade folder from Cuttlebug. The corner punch and the one below are from Martha Stewart. The sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations HCPC3321 Believe. Not sure who I will send this to but I do have a very dear friend going in the hospital soon so she will probably get this one. I think she will like it. Well that's it for now. Thanks for dropping by and yall have a great day!

Joy of the Lord

I know, I've been missing lately. Work, Bill and house work has done me in this week. Trying to catch up on everything has wore me out and I just did not have the strength to stamp! Think I'm caught up and rested so lets play! You know I love scene cards, they make the best Male cards. I started out with Ivory, black, green and white card stock. Every stamp I used is from Heartfelt Creations. Needless to say they are my favorite stamps! They have a long list of stamps so be sure and check them out!
Products I used are:
HCPC3330 Elegant Autumn Leaves
HCPC3310 Trust in the Lord
HCPC2254 Leafy Swirls
1223G Wildlife Retreat
On light green I used Versa Mark and stamped Elegant Autumn Swirl randomly. On white card stock I stamped Wildlife Retreat with Black Staz-on. Sponged around using light blue to cover the sky and water. Then sponged with a dark blue over the same areas leaving the light blue showing in small areas. I used Prisma pencils to add color to the trees, ducks, grass and house. I then sponged around the corners with black. I stamped the Leafy Swirls on the left side of the print and colored in the green leaves. On the right hand bottom I stamped the sentiment from Trust in the Lord. 5 black pearls were added. Thanks for taking time to drop in and look. I do appreciate it and your wonderful comments. I may be back later!

Sneak Preview at Heartfelt Creations

What a feeling I got this morning when I opened Heartfelt Creations blog. I have done this for months now, every Wed morning, first thing after sitting down in front of my computer, check out what Emma Lou has in store for us, this morning what do I see? 2 cards I made. Man what a trip, this is a dream and I don't wanta wake up LOL.
I stamped the Elegant Holly Swirls with Versa Mark, then heat embossed with white powder. Sponged Garden Green around and wiped the green off the embossed part. Stamped the Holly Leaves on Garden Green with versa mark and embossed with powder. After heat embossing that I cut them out using the Holly Ornament Die Cut. Used versa mark and Gold embossing powder on vellum to make the poinsettia and cut those out with the Perfect Petals Die Cut. Placed bling where I wanted then using pop dots added the leaves and flower. Added the center to the flower to finish it off. For more of what Emma Lou showed this morning head on over to the Heartfelt Creations blog. You will not be disappointed!

Autumn

As much as I had to leave summer and all the warm air, gorgeous flowers and fun events that go along with summer, I think fall is here. You can smell it in the air, the leaves and all the flowers dying. I love my latest stamp from Heartfelt Creations, HCPC3327 Rustic Autumn Wheel. I also used Cuttlebug's embossing folder Autumn Type. A little sponging around the embossed and cut out the Autumn and pop dotted it on. I used both Stampin Up Markers and Prisma Pencil to color with. Today is my last day off, I will be returning to work tomorrow, it's time to get back to a normal life style and routine. So I'm gonna play as much as I can today hehe. Have a great day!!

Friends

Good Morning, hope everyone is great this morning, I'm fine! (Selma, you know about I'm fine LOL) inside joke there. Yesterday I got a beautiful card from Kym Weber, I loved how it was put together, so I had to do one. Our cards are altogether different except for the layout. For the base I used Gina K. Pure Luxury Ivory and then all the design paper is from Memory Box. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the edge and some ribbon Mary Anne had sent me. The flower is one I bought at AC Moore a few weeks back. I added some leaves to it using Heartfelt Creations stamp Set HCPC 2254 Leafy Swirls and I hand cut those out and placed them behind the flower. The bird image is also from Heartfelt Creations Rejoicing Bluebirds (1132G). Did you know you can also buy unmounted stamps from HFC and mount them your self? That's what I did with this one. They also have reasonable shipping rates so be sure and check them out some time. They have lots and lots of stamps!! I colored it in using Prisma Pencils. Tiny pearls were also added down the side. On the inside although I failed to take a picture I used 2 more Nestablities, Beaded Circles and Standard size circle for the sentiment. That's it for now. Bill is doing great other than having trouble sleeping at night. He slept better last night so think that will work out also. Thanks again for all your prayers. Okay, I'm out of here, have a great blessed day and I'll catch ya later!

Update on Bill

Good morning all. First Thank you so much for all the calls, cards, comments and mostly the prayers. He would not have done this good without your prayers to God for a healing. God is awesome. The doctor had told us it would take 3 hours or longer, Bill saw a rainbow and ask God for a speedy surgery due to his lungs and he said God spoke to him and said I'll get you out in 2 1/2 hours. He was out in 2 1/2 hours. He is still in CVCS and will probably remain there through the day. The heart part is doing great and everyone seems happy with the results, it's his lungs they are still worried about. All the tubes have been removed except the one in his neck and they said it would come out today. They are going to be putting in a pick so they won't have to stick him so much. He's still swelled and it's hard to find a vain. He's sitting up in a chair and eating a small amount and was watching TV when I left yesterday. I'm back home and will just work and go down to see him at night. I'll need to take off work after he gets home. Continue to pray and again THANK YOU!!

Update on Bill

No card, got home late, had to pack a few things and get ready to leave out again in the morning. They couldn't do the stint with Bill because the blockage is too bad. One is 100%, another 90% and the 3rd one is 70%. They are going to run lung test and breathing test Thursday to see if he can withstand a triple bypass on Friday. If not I'm not sure what they are thinking. We both have faith and know it's in God's hands. We just need lots of prayers. That's where yall come in. I'll be staying in Winston at least until Sunday. No computer so I'll call someone (probably MaryAnne or Patti P and they can update you. Thanks in advance for your love and prayers.

Potted Plant

I'm back with another. This is nothing like I was thinking when I started but it still turned out so so. I used Gina K autumn card stock, the Kassie's brocade embossing folder and the Beaded Oval. A paper Dollie also. Not to mention the Martha Stewart corner and border punch. The stamps (Art Impressions) are some I got when I first started stamping back about 9 years ago. I think it was 2001 when I got into it. Anyway, I also added white pearls and 4 red gems to finish it off. I also made 30 5x5 envelopes today. I love making 5x5 cards even if it does cost more to mail them. I had let em pile up cause I didn't have envelopes for them. Now I do hehe. That's it for now. Talked with Shelly awhile ago, they got home at 2AM my time and 1AM theirs. Safe and sound. Thanks for all the prayers. Well lets go put our feet up and watch a little TV for awhile.
