Free

Good Morning! Hope everyone is well and happy. I have to work today then I'm off the rest of the week to spend time with my DS and his family. They should get here tonight around 8-9PM. They are driving in from Daphne AL. Yall say a prayer for a safe trip. My card is one I made last night to unwind after being gone with Bill to the doctors all day. It's on purple with black where I punched the side with a MS punch and added bling. the butterfly was already done and all I did was add it with pop ups and added bling. How easy was that. The doctor visit wasn't good. I had told ya about Bill's lungs, now it's his heart too. He's had a heart attack before and stints were put in, this time they aren't sure if it's a blockage or what, we go back Friday so keep him in your prayers. All the doctor would tell us was there was some thing behind his heart he couldn't make out so Bill has to go back for more pictures to see if it's a blockage or if they have to open him up. Okay, that's it for now, gotta hit the shower and get ready for work, then come home, brush the dog and run the vacuum real quick LOL. Yes I'm excited about seeing them. It's been a year. I'm planning a lot of hugs and kisses. Later and have a great week!!

Roses Challenge

Hello, it's the last Sunday of the month and time for another Rose's Challenge. This month Sue ask us to make a gift bag. Or rather to decorate the one she sent us. We were to use the felt and ribbon she sent and the rest was optional. I also added the design paper she sent after I punched the sides with a Martha Stewart punch. The stars are some Selma sent me for my birthday. I had the cake and other stick on's so added those, and stamped on my bag. This is the first bag I can remember ever decorating. Not sure if I liked doing it or not but it was a challenge and got me out of my box so guess it worked LOL. Thanks Sue. I cut the felt out with a swirl die from Sizzex. Next month it's Kym's turn. Yall have a good one and I'm not sure when I'll return. It's been crazy around here with Bill's health and Tommy and his family coming in Tue. I'll try to check and comment when I can being I get up so early before the world starts LOL but dout if I stamp any.

Happy Fall "Yall

Break Time! LOL. Some times ya just gotta stop working and stamp LOL. Here is another one of those Emboss Plus folders I got, this one is "Blooming Bouquet". Or think that's what it is, I threw the cover away before I remembered to cut the name off. DAH! I used Theresa Momber's stamp set "Autumn Beauty". It's one of my favorites. I used all Gina K. card stock but don't know the names of them, it came in the Autumn Pack last year. Colored with Stampin Up markers. That's about it, hope you like. I had fun making it. Thanks for dropping by, "Yall come back now hear!

Thinking

Hello, been a long day at work! My little paws are tired LOL. Started this card last night, worked on it this morning and posting it tonight after work. See not all of them are 10 minute cards LOL. It's different shades of purple. I used the Cuttle bug embossing folder Kassie's Brocade. Then I ran a Encore Metallic Gold pad over it to high light the embossed parts, (DON"T do it) the score tape didn't even want to stick to it. Neither did the bling I added. Oh well, live and learn right!? It's another Sarah Kay image, colored with Prisma Pencils. Cut out with Spellbinders oval and scalloped oval. I used Pop dots to put those 2 together. Ran a piece of ribbon underneath and added bling to finish it off. Have I mentioned that Tommy is coming in next week? Yes, I'll get to see Stella and Alex, well Tommy & Shelly too, but you Nana's know what I mean. I may give this card to Stella. She loves cards and being it won't stay together very good let her have fun with it for awhile LOL. That way it doesn't go to waste. Okay, time for a gown and a little TV. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!!

Tag

I came in from work and played. I still have to fix supper but not until I post this LOL. This is for Joan's Challenge #11. We are to make a tag and add something heavier than card stock on it. Mine is a swirl from chip board. It was this awful green and so I rubbed versa mark over it, gold embossing powder and ta da. I'm not real sure but I think the dp is from Stampin Up. I added real red at the bottom and punched it with a Martha Stewart Punch. There must be something off about my color because this looks orange. But I promise it's Real Red. Anyway, I added white lace and Christmas ribbon. The flower is Heartfelt Creations Poinsettia Petals that I cut out using the die Perfect Petals. I purchased both of these from Joan, even if she doesn't have it on her blog, let her know and she'll get it for you. That's what I did for the Poinsettias. The center of the flower I got from HFC when I was in Winston Salem NC. That's about it. I'm not a tag person but I'll admit this was fun. I'm all rested now and can go cook. '. Yall come on over!

Thank You

Running late but did want to post this, it's one of my 10 minute cards. Need a Thank You card this morning so here is what I threw together. The Image is new from SU "Elizabeth". All card stock is from SU, scrip EB, trimmed with gold pen and 4 white pearls. I'm outta here, have a great day!

Best Friends

Good Morning!!! It's Monday and I HATE going to work on Mondays LOL. Oh well, I did play a lot yesterday so guess I could work some today LOL. Here is a twist on the new Cuttlebug Emboss Plus folders. I love the fact they cut, emboss and you can shade, or like I did this time, glitter the high lighted spots. I used a glue pen then added different colors of glitter. I love how it turned out. The image is a Sarah Kay image colored with Prisma Pencils. That's it. If you have one of these Emboss Plus folders, try it with glue and glitter. Until the next time, Happy Stamping!!

Inspire

Hello everyone!!! Been away for a few days, busy busy busy. Besides working we had a yard sell. OMG! That is a lot of work, we did pretty good but I still don't think it's worth it. So glad it's over and done with! Here is a card I made for Brenda's challenge over at STV. I downloaded these images from the computer but didn't write down the company name. I think I got the link from Betty Benton but not sure. So if anyone knows please past it on to me. This is Real Red card stock from Stampin Up but looks orangeie, I think all this color change when I got the external hard drive. Will yell at Drew in the morning (my computer guy) and see what he thinks. I also colored the berries with SU maker Real Red. Every thing else was colored with Prisma Pencils. Well this is short but I am so far behind with house hold chores it isn't funny, I also had to work 4 hours yesterday so that didn't help. Anyway, I'll catch up some time today after I run to town and buy food for this week LOL. Yall have a great one and I'll catch up with ya later!!

O Holy Night

Good Morning! Here is another card I made using my new stamps from Heartfelt Creations. This is 2 different set, the sentiment is form the Shepherd Oval set and the image is from another set I will call O Holy Night. Don't see a name on the cover. I stamped and embossed it using red powder. Then lightly sponged around it. The red card stock is Real Red from Stampin Up and I also embossed it using a cuttlebug folder. The striped paper is from Basic Grey but not sure which one because I pulled it from my scrap box. I cut the circles out using Spellbinder dies. Added pearls and that finished it off. On the side of the striped paper I did use a SU border punch. Well I'm off to the shower and another day at work. Yall have a great one and Happy Stamping!!

For You

Good Morning. Man I was sleeping soooo good. Anyway, here is a card I made last night for the sketch challenge Melissa has going on over at STV. I used Gina K. PL white and SU's Blue Bliss. The stamps are from SU's set "Garden Collage". It is one of my favorites. The white daisies are some that my Secret Pal had given me from work. The leaves are stamped with HFC set "Leafy Swirls". Then I cut them out and added a small swirl of tiny pearls. I had stamped the swirls from HFC on the blue bg and embossed it to add texture. Blue gems were also added. That's about it. Drew came over yesterday after work and man my computer is running so much better. I think all he did was downloaded Foxfire and it really is running faster. Rained yesterday cats and dogs and they say it's gonna rain again today. Dout if I melt LOL. Okay, it's shower time. I'll try and pop over to blogs later, until then, yall have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Butterfly

Good Morning. Ever dream of a card and get up and make it. Well I dreamed of this layout last night, got up and here it is. It's for Joan's challenge #10. To make and green and purple card and a butterfly as the embellishment. Oh yeah and some pattern paper down the side. Sentiment is from SU "Reason to Smile", butterfly is some my secret Pal at work gave me, pearly swirls is some I got Friday. The pattern paper is from scrap box but I believe it's from Memory Box. I also used Martha Stewart punches and that's about it. This one took about 30 minutes LOL. Got up at 4:55AM, went to bathroom, let dog out, poured my coffee and came in here and ta da. At 5:40AM it was ready to take it's picture. It does help when you go into it knowing what you are gonna do. A lot of times I haven't a clue until I'm finished LOL. Okay, it's shower time. Have a great blessed day!!!!

CKC Goods

First Thank you so much for all the kind words and prayers about George my brother In Law.
Next, several ask what I got a CKC in Charlotte. Here it is, 3 Rolls of double sided tape, 5 packs of PopDot tape, 5 packs of Pop Dots, 5 packs of long swirly bling, 20 packs of the tiny pearls, 20 packs of the larger, all for $1.00 each, great deal!! Then Heartfelt Creations had a deal going on, buy 4 get one free, and I had a coupon for 1 wooden stamp at 50% off. That's it, I came away very happy, and yes, will use every bit of it, unless I slip some in a envelope for a little gift for someone. I love these deals and they usually last me a year until time to go back and restock. If you ever get a chance to go to one of the CKC shows you really need to check em out. I don't buy the paper or scrapbooks nothing like that, but they are great deals too I just don't. Well lets go see what I can get into......so much to stamp and create and so little time LOL. OOPS!!!! Forgot to put the 6 rolls of Glue Gluider tape in there...I love that stuff too!

Make a Wish

I'm back! Seems like I have been gone a month of Sunday's!!! What happened was my Brother In Law past away Sunday. He was 64 and had been married to Bill's sister for 44 years. Needless to say it was a shocker. So I was there instead of here stamping. Yesterday Bill and I did ride down to Charlotte to the CKC, I was there about 1 1/2 hours was all. Just long enough to walk through and pick up a few things then back home. Today, it's been clean, clean and do laundry trying to catch all those fun chores up LOL. Did take time to get a little inky. This is Stampin Up card stock, a Martha Stewart Lattice punch, Spellbinders Fancy Labels, Heartfelt Leafy Swirls, Daisy patch Flowers and the Daisy Dies. I also added pearls in the center of the flowers and around the labels. Seems like it needs something but couldn't think of what so I just gave up. I left to much white showing and was afraid I would really mess it up if I tried adding more swirls. So it is what it is. That's it for now, gotta get the sheets out of the drier and wash some more, duty calls LOL. Thanks for dropping by and have a good one!

Peace * Joy * Love

Hello, been playing again and tried the punch thing Bonnie McLain shows on her blog today on how to do it! Be sure and check it out. I found this corner punch to be the easiest, but you may disagree. Any woo, I made this for 2 challenges. Pink and Dots at 7 Kids college Challenge and the Christmas challenge over at StampTV by Giovana to use some kind of punch/die. Card stock is White PL from Gina K. and the pink is Stampin Up Pretty in Pink. I embossed with cuttlebugs Swiss Dots then lightly rubbed the pink ink pad over it. Punched out the white leaves and used pop dots to attach the flowers. The sentiment is from SU. That's pretty much it. Hope you like and decide to try Bonnie's tutorial out. She's a great instructor. Have a good one and until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Pink Zoe

Good morning, Up early for a Sat. but what do you do if ya just can't sleep late. Guess I did, didn't get up until 5:30AM and that's later than normal. Here is the card I made for Joan's Garden's challenge. We are to make a pink and white card and punch the corners with a MS corner punch. I kind of got carried away with all the embellishments. but it was fun at the time and to me, that's what it is all about. Have fun. While in town yesterday I ran in the Dollar Tree and picked up these flowers. I had every thing else so... It is a Sarah Kay image "Zoe" colored with prisma pencils and OMS. She was cut out with Labels 10 and Oval Classic. Stamping Up card stock was used, It's Pretty in Pink but this photo looks orange to me, hopefully you can tell it is pink. Added a lot of pearls and punched out some white leaves to stick here and there. Oh yeah, ribbon I had in my stash. That's pretty much it. Like I said I had fun and I like it, but I will say it's a little much..........out of my norm I guess is what I'm trying to say. Okay, off to visit all the blogs I haven't been to , have a great weekend!!!

Happy Fall Y'all

Hello, here is a card I made for the color challenge Carla has going on over at STV. Red, Orange and yellow. I guess I blew it with that basket but what the heck. I saw this layout some where on the blogs I look at but can't for the life of me remember where or whose. The dp is some I had, don't know where it came from either, man I'm bad today! All other card stock is from SU. Basket is from Gina K. designs "Signs of Autumn" and the sentiment on the front is Theresa Momber's "Autumn Beauty". The sentiment inside is from SU. I punched several leaves out and sponged around them and then stuck em here and there. Oh yeah, the orange piece in the front was punched with a MS border punch. Used nesties to cut the circles and ovals out. Guess that's about it. This one took some time but I'm very pleased with it and hope you like it too!

Christmas Poinsettia

Here is another Christmas card. No challenge, just building my Christmas cards. I used my new Heartfelt Creations Stamp Poinsettia Petals. I stamped them on Red Vellum with Gold embossing powder. I love how they turned out. The leaves are on Green card stock with the Elegant Single Leaves Set. Then after all the stamping I cut them out using HFC Perfect Petals Diecut. I love these as you all well know. The Book to is from HFC. I embossed it with red powder. The sentiment is from an older Stampin Up set. Ribbon is from my stash. The white center is one of the things I got at the HFC booth while I was in Winston. Found out today they are going to be set up in Charlotte when I go too. I can't wait!!! Well that's it for now. Better go spend some time with hubby, he's been home alone all day. Take care and until later, Happy Stamping!

With Sympathy

Good Morning. Wasn't sure I was gonna get this finished before I leave for work this morning but I did. YEAH! this is for a challenge over at Cuttlebug. I have never entered one of theirs but decided to get up off the pot and just do it! I look at that site everyday and just love Bonnie McClain not to mention all the other wonderful and talented ladies. This is one of those simple cards but still I think they are sort of elegant and perfect for a Sympathy card. I used Creamy Caramel from Stampin Up and Gina K.'s Ivory. Martha Stewart punches and the center punch is from the Spellbinders Pendants Fleur De Lis set. The sentiment is from Clear Creative Set"Arms of Jesus". That's it, gotta hit the shower and get moving. But it's my Friday so YEAH!!!!! Yall have a great day and I'll catch ya later, Patti, this coffee is GREAT!

Faith in God

Hello, here is another card I made this past weekend using Romak 3D step by Step Flowers. This makes for such an easy card. The dp is from Memory Box, the sentiment is from Clear Creative Stamps. After putting the flower together I used a small amount of stickles in the center of a few of them. Added Ribbon and lace to finish it off. I did cut the sentiment out with a nestie and add 2 gold pearls. Thanks for taking time to drop in for a look see. I do appreciate it and your comments! you all are the best buds in the world!

Fall

I'm not sure if you want to call it Fall or Thanksgiving? I'm goining with Fall. It's another blast from Stampin Up. Don't know the name of the set sorry. When I first started getting into stamping no one told me to put the name of the sets on them heheh. So it's their fault LOL. This is another card for Joan's Challenge. The paper is some of my 12x12 and I haven't a clue where it came form. I stamped, cut out, popped up and had fun. I took a small piece of gold wire and put behind the pumpkin. The leaves are buttons (like you can't tell that hehe) ,and I also used a Martha Stewart border punch. The base of the card is SU Almost Orange. That's it for now, gotta hit the shower and get ready for work. Have a great day and thanks so much for all your prayers and well wishes. We gonna need em?

Blessings

My card is for the challenge over at ODBD. This week we are ask to use ribbon, charm and one other kind of embellishment. I used 4 yellow gems in each corner. I stamped the flower part with HeartFelt Creations Open Petal Set and the leaves are with the Single Leaves Set and cut both out with the Perfect Petal Diecuts. The stem is the word stamp from Stampin Up's Wonderful Words II set. I also used the embossing folder D'vine Swirl. Card stock is from SU also. That's about it. Not thinking very clear, we did not get a good report form the doctor this morning. He is putting Bill on Oxygen 24-7 which means he will lose his job and stay home. It's killing him and don't think it has sunk in with me yet. A lot to process. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, it does mean so much to us. Keep praying for us, that's all we can do right now. Thanks for listening......

Thank You

Hello, hope everyone is well and happy! I'm off to Winston in the morning with hubby to the doctor. Help me in praying for good results. Here is a card I made today for Speedy the Cat's challenge, to make a thank you card. I used stamping up card stock and nesties to cut the music notes and oval out. The flowers are more of the 3-D pop out flowers I had. I purchased all of these at Enchanted Cottage, I just love them and lets face it, I can't color this good LOL. I added ribbon, bow (thanks to Bow easy) and white pearls. I also embossed the blue with the Kassie's Brocade folder from Cuttlebug. On the inside I used the trellis punch from Martha Stewart. Hope you like, thanks for taking time to drop by, I do appreciate it and your comments. Have a fantastic day!!!
