Hello everybody! Just got in from work and went right to making a card. Isn't it soooo relaxing!! I had my image from Stampin Up Serene Spring stamped and colored and all I had to do was build my card to meet this challenge. I used all Stampin Up card stock, Craft, Bashful Blue and Rose Red. The flowers are punched out with YoYo Yellow. Ribbon is from my stash. Colored with Prisma Pencils which was stamped on PL from Gina K. Hope you like and thanks for taking time to drop by. I'm gonna go sit in front of the TV and watch and play with the Dog! Have a good one and Happy Stamping!!

Sun Flowers

Hello every body!! I am so glad to be home and not at work. Can't play at work hehe. Here is a card I made for the sketch challenge over at The Sweet Shop. They always have the neatest sketches! This one was a real challenge. Still not happy with my choice of paper but I have cut up enough so I'm going with it! I love this image and have had it for several years. It's by Impression Obsession. Colored with Prisma pencils ONLY! I have been getting a lot of emails asking me if I am using OMS. I use to but not now. Now it's just pencils. It's something new for me too but I do like the look. Card stock is from Stampin Up except the dp and sorry, no name on it. I used a Martha Stewart border punch at the bottom and some ribbon from my stash. I made another vellum flower with MS punches. You can get the vellum and punches from Joan's Garden. Okay, that's it. This poor ole dog hasn't had his supper and acts as if the world will end. Heard this barking long enough hehe. So until the next time, Happy Stamping!!!

Olivia with her Kittens

Is there anyone out there who doesn't know I love these Sarah Kay Stamps????!! I purchased all I have (which is a lot) from Joan's Garden. This card is for the challenge #18 over at Magical Crafts, (which I found out about through Maryanne, thanks GF) to use flowers and Speedy the Cat to use at least 3 flowers! How easy is that!!! She is colored with only Prisma Pencils. I made the flowers out of vellum using Martha Stewart flower punches which I also got from Joan's Garden. Using a stylish like Selma showed us and adding a small black Pearl in the center. The card stock is from Stampin Up, Barley Banana and Bordering Blue. The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug Scrollwork, yep, I got from Joan. LOL. I tell ya, you can not beat her products and prices! The image is cut out using Spellbinders Labels Four. Okay , I guess that's it for now. It has really cooled down here, of course it's raining which we needed sooooo bad! Thanks for taking time to drop by and look. I appreciate it and your comments. Until the next time, Happy Stamping!!

Cart with Flowers

Good morning all. Hope everyone had a great weekend and ready to stay inside and play where it's cooler. Man it's just the end of June and already so HOT! but, it's not snow and ice hehe. This week at TMITA/PCC I got to pick the challenge, I choose a box, basket or some kind of container. I print out several digi when I do print and am always losing them on the desk or drawer or what have ya. So guess what I'm using this box for hehe. I used Stampin Up card stock with a piece of dp from my stash. Colored with Prismacolor pencils. NO oms. That alone is a challenge for me. On a sadder note, this will be my last post as a member of one fantastic design team. Nina is a wonderful talented lady to work for and I have had so much fun working with her and that fantastic design team. But, with summer also comes more jobs around the house and I can't do like I use to, takes me longer to get anything done. (It's that age thing again LOL). Plus I work full time, so less play time. So with that said, until the next time, Happy Stamping!!

Roses' Challenge

Good morning all. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Here is the card I made for the Roses' Challenge this month. I got to pick so I decided to make a card with an animal on it. It can be any kind of animal, if it breaths it's in LOL. I went with the Puppy from Impression Obsession. I have had this stamp for a few years but still love it. I used the PrismaColor Pencils and then SU ink to sponge around it. Card stock is white PL from Gina K., Blue is SU. I used the ticket punch on the corners and the sentiment stamp is from Great Impressions. 4 small black pearls were also added to finish it off. Betty Benton is our host next month and can't wait to see what she challenges us to do! Thanks for taking time to drop by and look. I do appreciate it and your wonderful comments! Have a great weekend!

Bernadetta

Good Morning! It's gonna be another HOT day! But at least it's not snowing LOL. I hate winter and all that cold weather so I'm not to upset about the heat. You can always stay in with the air condition LOL. Been a long and busy week, 2 Mini Camps, (outside), then a bowling trip, classes and lots of paperwork. Not to mention what all that has gone on at home. So hopefully today I can kinda kick back and play! Here is a card I made last night for Aly's challenge #20 (Flowers) and Challenge #3 at Joan's Garden. This week we are to use pretty Floral DP paper and a Martha Stewart Border and Corner Punch. My image is Bernadetta Admiring Spring Flowers. You can get her and a lot of the Sarah Kay stamps from Joan. I have another one on the way, as fast as Joan sends them it should be here today. I also got the Mini Roses from Joan, ordered more of them too LOL. I'm so bad. The dp is from a 12x12 pack from K&Co. I used both corner and border punch from MS. I used my new Prismacolor pencils to color her and NO OMS. I about killed me not to use any but Deborah showed Susan and I yesterday how to blend without it and just use other pencils. I'm gonna practice some more but I love the way her's looks so wish me luck! Well that's it for now. Guess I'll hit the shower, the man working on the new porch is gonna be here before I know it and I can't let him see me in my night gown now can I? LOL. He'd run for sure LOL. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

For Stella

This is Stella's card this week, I'm late getting it out, maybe she won't throw to big a fit. Yes, I have her spoiled to getting mail. She calls all the cards I send her (1 a week), birthday cards LOL. Anyway, I have been so bad today. I went over a friend's house tonight after work and robbed her. Or least I felt like I had but I think she's happy. I got 120 Prismacolor pencils (almost new), 20 Prismacolor Markers and 19 Derwent Inktense pencils for $77.00. I was thrilled. We were talking today bout coloring, now she doesn't stamp, she's an Artist, Deborah, check her blog out. Anyway, I was telling her I wanted to get some Prismacolor Pencils and she said she had plenty and would sell me one of her sets. Man you should see what this girl has! OMG! She's got it bad, so bad LOL. She's got pencils, chalks, crayons, paints, you name it and she's got it. About like we are with paper and stamps etc. Anyhoo, she's going to the beach this weekend so hopefully I helped out. So after getting home, I colored this Sarah Kay image for Stella. The dp is Basic Grey. The white is Gina K. PL. That's it, I gotta play with this poor dog before he ask for a divorce, LOL. Been home alone all day and now mama is stamping! Hope you like and I'll catch ya later, Happy Stamping!!

Here is a card for the challenge over at Joan's Garden. She has lots of neat stuff, go check out all the new embossing folders. Hopefully the ones I want she has in stock hehe. You are to use a Spellbinder nestie and make a vintage card. Hope this is vintage enough. I used Gina K. white for the base and the rest is out of the scrap basket. I embossed the green and punched the flowers. Used a piece of ribbon I purchased at the Dollar Tree and added a pre-printed Thank You tag I got from Big Lots awhile back. That's it. Short and sweet. 2 of the kids and their families are coming today so no stamping time. Yesterday I power washed the back porch and all the lawn furniture. Talk about a job! Vintage Rose

I am so pleased with this one. When I read Joan's challenge #2 the first thing I thought of was ooh No! I don't have the right kind of paper! Well I went through looking at some of my 12x12 and ran across this piece from Anna Griffin. YES! I'm go to go!! I then had no idea where it would take me but hey! I like it! Joan has challenged us to make a Vintage card and to use at least one Spellbinder Nestability. I used 2 hehe. Also used a MS border punch to create my lace. I have got to buy some lace for cards! I love the look just never think of it when I'm shopping. It's that age thing again. The Rose is from Gina K "A Year of Flowers" which I stamped then cut out. I added 3 gorgeous little roses I bought form Joan's Garden and pearls. That finished it off. Oh yeah, I did dry emboss the dp. I love the feel of embossed paper. Don't forget to check out Joan's challenge, of course I could say like a few car racers say, if every body would get off the track I could win LOL. Okay, I'm gone, it's Friday and house cleaning time. If ya want come on over and we'll clean then sit in the chairs from yesterday and let Patti serve us drinks again LOL.

Cracked

Now just how cute is this!!!! The cracked background and the sentiment are from the free gift I won from Mark's Finest Paper. The minute I saw this sentiment I knew what stamped image I was putting it with. I have a dear close friend who is having a birthday next month, so here is her card. She will get a kick out of it. I used Stampin Up card Stock and markers. Hope you like and thanks for dropping by. As for yesterday, I have lots of chairs so every body come on down and we'll let Patti serve us tall cool drinks. Oh Yeah, Maryanne, I got the wine if you got the time LOL
Yall have a great day!!!!

Relax

Look Maw, no flowers!!!!!!!!! Here's a card I made for the challenge over at Sentimental Sundays, (Summertime). I don't care if it's beside the water or just in the back yard, isn't it nice to just sit and relax doing nothing but talking and spending time with love ones. That's summer, with cookouts, grand kids running around, families getting together. While I sit and let the younger ones do the work, okay, I'm awake now LOL. When we cook out at my house you know I'm up working, but hey, it was a nice dream LOL. The girls are great about cleaning up. I used Stampin Up card stock and markers. I borrowed these stamps from one of my friends that got me into stamping, the Beach chair is from Impression Obsession, and the other one doesn't have any thing stamped on it so I don't know the company. I used a Martha Stewart set to punch around and the corners. Hope you like the card. I gotta get ready for work, it's a big meeting day, ouch, they are never fun but at least I'm off tomorrow...........Thanks for taking time to drop by, Yall have a good one and Happy Stamping!!!

I still have plenty and sell a few of them. Not to get rich but hey, if it pays for the supplies I'm happy. I don't have a challenge to put this in so if you know of one yell back. I used Stampin Up card stock and 2 sets of Martha Stewart punches for the borders. The sentiment is from Judith. I punched the flowers out of vellum, yes I am loving doing that. Then added a black pearl in the center. The leaves are maple leaves but hey, it works LOL. That's it for now, hope you like and thanks for dropping by. Until the next time, be good, and if ya can't be good at least have fun!!!

It's a WONDERFUL day!! I won over at Speedy Cats Friends (Mark's Finest Papers) challenge yesterday, now how cool is that!! Yes I did the Happy Dance. This week they ask you to make your own back ground paper, which I have doen using a embossing folder then rubbed Tea Dye distress ink over it. Then I stamped the main image with a Inkadinkado stamp with Stampin Up ink Close to Cocoa. I also used a few stamps from SU set Elegant Notes. I tore the image out and distress the edges with more of the distressing ink. I cut the sentiment out with a nestie label die and placed ribbon behind it I had gotten from the dollar tree. I just had to make another card for Joan's Garden Challenge. It's to use colors pink, green and yellow along with a flower stamp from Just right. I got those beautiful little roses in the mail today from Joan, aren't they gorgeous!!!!! So I popped them on a piece of yellow ribbon that I used to make my bow (with the help of the bow easy). I like this card better than the first one I did for her challenge. Be sure and check her challenge out, you can enter more than once which is what I'm doing. Flowers

Hello, I am so tired I don't know which end is up LOL. But I came in from work to make a card for Joan's Garden challenge. Most the time stamping will relax me, not helping tonight so I'm afraid my card is not up to snuff. But I'm leaving it as is and posting it. I used Stampin Up card stock, Martha Stewart border punch and oval nesties to cut the flower out that I stamped with the Just Right set "Thinking of You. I punched the flowers out of vellum with Mavy punches. Added 3 yellow gems and embossed the back ground with the textile folder. Joan ask us to use pink, green and yellow along with a Just Right Stamp. I want to yell to her Pick Me, Pick me but I know it's random so I could yell til them there cows came home and it wouldn't matter LOL. Head on over to Joans Garden and play along with her challenge. This is her first so you have a chance to get in on the ground floor and help it grow. That's it for now, so until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Love Blooms

Back in April Selma showed a card she had made and how she made the flowers. It was breath taking. Well you know me, if Selma does it I gotta at least try it. So I ordered the colored vellum and punches from Joan's Garden. That woman is great!!! She has even emailed me my invoice to avoid going up an oz. to save me money on shipping. Now how many business does that!!? Plus she has wonderful stuff. She is also going to be starting a challenge every Thursday so be sure and go check her out! I have been very pleased with every thing I have ever ordered from her and it's a lot. Anyway, I did make some changes form Selma's card, I used red instead of pink, I put a sentiment where she had more flowers, and I added butterflies and some extra leaves. I dry embossed the green back ground with the textile folder and cut the ovals out with the oval nesties. The butterflies are embossed and cut out with the die from Stampin Up. I'm pleased at how it turned out. Hate giving it away but hey, that's why we make cards right.I am entering this in the challenge to emboss at Caarvarks. Check em out. Thanks for taking time to drop in and look. Let me know if you like it or not cause I just love reading your wonderful comments!!!

Moments

Good Morning. Or I'm telling myself that anyway LOL. Yep, I'm trying to wake up. Here's a card I made Sunday night for a challenge over at Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge and Sentimental Sundays to use something new or neglected. I found out about Waltzingmouse over on MaryAnne's blog and went to check it out. Neat site, so get on over there and find out too! Anywho, I used SU card stock , okay the bottom piece i punched with a MS punch set, then the top I embossed with a SU folder, cut the center out with a nestie, placed the stamped image behind that, it's from Stampendous. Added ribbon from my stash and some flowers and pearls to finish it off. Oh no wait, I sprayed it all over with Ritzy Ditzy Glitz, that's something I haven't used in ages ( for Sentimental Sundays). But I love the way it sparkles. Okay, coffee is ready! I'm out of here, until the next time, have fun and thanks for dropping by!

I'm back with another card. This one is for JUGS36 sketch challenge. I used Theresa Momber's new set "Hope Grows". I love this set, oh and I won this over at StampTV last week in the color challenge. With buying new hearing aides didn't have much play money this month so this really came at a great time!!!! See God does take care of us! I used Stampin Up card stock and markers. I stamped the butterfly 3 times, cut 2 of them out using first one side then the other. Gina K. showed us how to do this on STV so I tried it, what ya think? I love the effect! I used Versa Mark and stamped leaves on the green and flowers on the So Saffron. Added bits of ribbon from my stash and 3 buttons.

Here is another one I made for Isabella's challenge to use black and white with only color in the image. White and black is Stampin Up and the dp is from scrap basket. Buttons

Hi there! Here is a card I made for the challenge over at Frosted Designs. The card i made for their challenge last week made the top 3, I just haven't received my badge yet. I was excited. This week it's all about buttons. I have 10 buttons on this card, okay guess I got carried away but hey, I think it looks pretty neat! I am also entering this at Our Creative Corner for their color challenge of black & white. I started out with a stamp from outlines. Using White Colorbox I stamped it on black cs then heat embossed white. Cut it out and down alittle, matted it on white as I also did with the black and white dp. The butter flies are punched out using Martha Stewart's butterfly punch. The big white flower is one I got from my Secret Pal awhile back for my Birthday. The sentiment is from Great Impressions which I cut out with a nestie. As you can see I put tiny black buttons on top of larger white ones. In the center of the flower I put a used old black button and placed a tiny white one on top of it. That's it for now. Been cleaning house and laundry today so I haven't been around much. But I think every thing is done so now it's play time! LOL. Later and Have a good one!!

Magnolia Bloom

Tuesday while in Winston every where I looked the Magnolia's trees were full of their beautiful blooms. So that inspired this card. I am also entering it on StampTV's Inspriation Challenge that Brenda is having. I love Magnolia's. Can't grow them here very good because of the temps getting so cold in the winter, but I enjoy them when I go south. I started out using Gina K. 120 white as the base. Then I used a piece of white SU which I dry embossed. Attached that, I had stamped the Magnolia 3 times and colored all of them alike. I got that idea from Selma, anyway cut them out and popped them up. The green and pink are from SU also which is cut out using what else but nestablities. Gotta love those! I used some shimmering paints I got last year while at the Charlotte Scrapbook show. I used a water brush and then just painted it. The yellow is Stickles. I attached 4 yellow gems I won awhile back from Vicki D's challenge on, oops, forget which site, sorry. It's that age thing again. The stamp is from All Night Media. That's it in a nut shell. Thanks for dropping by and looking. Oh yeah, by the way I love my new hearing aids, but Bandit isn't a hero yet LOL. Have a great day and Patti be good LOL.
