Summer Time

It's Magical Monday!!!! Kim is hosting this week and ask us to to look at this picture and get inspired to come up with a summer card. When I think Summer I think Flowers, lots of flowers! I used Nina's image Daisies in a Teacup. Colored with Stampin Up Markers, Basic Grey paper was also used and nestie was used to cut the the basic Grey paper. I slid the image behind the cut part. The sentiment is from SU. I also added 3 little flowers. In the center of the flowers I added gold Stickles. That's it for now. Be sure and hop on over to TMITA/PCC where you can use any image from Nina to create your summer card and play along. It's been a busy sort of weekend but I have so enjoyed it. My daughter Michelle came Sat. yesterday was her birthday, 39, hard to believe. First thing she said Sat when she got here was Mom, you getting old. Boy that really made me feel great LOL. Hard to believe she's 39. Then yesterday Amanda and Lee came and brought to 2 youngest grandsons. Liam is almost walking.....so darn cute, he just smiles all the time. Okay, that's it, it's coffee time. Come on over Patti, it's fresh and hot, just the way you like it!! Thanks to all you that responded yesterday with my question, it was so easy dah.......I'm just not that good with computers. But now that I have done it not sure I like it LOL. Women, just can't make em happy LOL. Have a good one and don't forget to play at TMITA/PCC. Happy Stamping!!

The first is fro Sketch Girls (SG19), I loved this sketch and it's what got me started. Then over at JUGS they have a challenge to use dry embossing some where on your card. So I just embossed the dickens out of it LOL. I love dry embossing anyway so hey!! I used all Stampin Up card stock and the stamped images are from SU also. The flowers are some I bought awhile back from Michael's. The stamped image is attached with pop ups as well as the flowers. Hope you like my card. Don't forget to scroll down and see the card I made for the Roses challenge that Connie brought us this month. I get to hold the challenge next month so stay tuned to see what I have in mind for all those craftie dahlings LOL. Have a great day!! That's it for now............Staming Sam told me about another site I could enter this http://sentimentalsundays.blogspot.com/card in, ain't friends GREAT!!! So that makes 3!!!! Nope lets make it 4 and I'll enter this one over at Frosted Designs!

Well I stamped and played all day yesterday. Here's a card I made for the color challenge over at Creative card crew. Use pink & green. To tell the truth, I made 3 different cards and couldn't decide which to enter then went with this one. It's a old stamp I have had for some time from Northwoods Rubber Stamp Inc. Colored with SU markers. The dp is also from SU. I used a nestie to cut the ovals out. That's it for now. I may be back later. Yall have a great day and Happy Stamping!

My second post of the day!!!Hi again! I'm home from work and came straight to my craft room. DH works during the night and sleeps during the day so I gotta be still so he can sleep. Or I tell myself that so I have a great reason to be in here playing LOL. I love doing Mo's challenges. You all know I haven't been doing very many here lately because of one thing or another so first thing I thought of was MO! The challenge is to make a card using Mo's images of a baby or Small animal. I purchased this image awhile back and I really don't think I have ever used it. It's so darn cute. Anyway, I have a friend who if it wasn't for bad luck she just wouldn't have any at all, so this is for her. Hope she likes it. The dp is from stampin up, 2 sided which always makes it easy to find paper that matches. Colored with SU markers too. Used the nestie Big Scalloped Square to cut the image out and Matt it. Added the ribbon and sentiment is one I had laying right there on the counter so.......I do think it's from SU also, can't remember. Well that's it for now, who knows I may be back later today with another card.

I'm Beautiful

I made a card the other day for Jayme, Lisa Cook's sister. When I went to post it I saw the cutest frog I have ever seen in my life. So I had to check it out, you know where did they get this. You can down load a free one from Whimsy here. She was screaming don't hate me cuz I'm beautiful. So I had to make Jayme another card. I used Stampin Up dp and nesties to cut the oval out. Hope you like my card. I may become a frog fan, this image is so darn cute!!!! I am entering this is the challenge over at Mark's finest paper to create a card with a animal on it.
I do have to go in to work this morning for a meeting. So guess I'll check yall out later. Until then, Happy Stamping!!

Make me Smile

Good Morning! Well today is my Friday. Then I'm off until next Wed. YEAH! To help the state budget out all state employees are taking one day off without pay, so that's my day tomorrow. Then Mon is a Holiday, going with DH to the doctor on Tue. I went yesterday to the hearing doctor to find out the old ones cannot be fixed, thanks Bandit. New ones are going to cost me out of pocket $2600.00. At least insurance pays $1200.00, so that makes the total $3800.00. Lets hope and pray I like these better. Anyway on to my card. A very dear friend stamped this awesome image out for me. I am not really a cat person but love this. Aren't they so sweet. I used all Stampin Up card stock, Chocolate Chip, Kraft and white. Colored with SU markers. A Cuttlebug embossing folder (Stylized Flowers). Every thing was cut out using Nesties Labels Eleven , Petite Scalloped Ovals Small and Petite Ovals Small. Added ribbon, the sentiment is from Annabelle Stamps set. I think it's called I can fly. That's it. Well lets go dry the hair and get out the door. It's bowling day. Yall have a great day and Happy Stamping!!!

Bird houses

Here is a card I made for no reason and then thought okay, I'll enter it in a challenge, but I can't find one it'll work in so. Not real sure about the dp cause I pulled it out of the scrap basket, the image is from Northwoods Rubber Stamps Inc. I colored it in using Stampin Up markers. I did add corner thingys that I had cut out. I also cut the oval out with a nestie. Okay, I think that's it, I stayed up way to late last night. My favorite TV show of all times ended last night, "24". poor ole Jack is out there some where, hurt, cold, hungry and no way of calling me to let me know where he is. Bless his heart. Life will not be the same without Jack in it. I have never missed a minute of the show since it aired. So yep, I'm heart broken............

Simple Pleasures

Good Morning! It's Magical Monday at There's Magic in the Air with paper CupCakes! This week it is our very talented Patti bringing us a great challenge! She ask us to use the image Simple Pleasures and make any thing but a birthday card. So I pulled the old thinking cap out and thought and thought and come up with a "Feel Better Soon card. Ice Cream does cure all right! RIGHT! I used Basic Grey and stampin Up card stock. A Martha Stewart border punch and along with several Nestabilities cut the image and sentiment out. I did cheat and type this on the computer then cut it out, all that I had was too big for the label. Added pearls and it's all ready to mail! I do hope you can hop on over to TMITA/PCC and join us for this great challenge. Nina gives great prizes! Thanks so much for taking time to drop by and have a look, I do appreciate it so much! And for everyone wondering, Bandit is well and happy. He's back sleeping with Mama and really kissing up let me tell ya! Think he was afraid I was gonna give him to the 1st person to come by, don't know how he got that idea LOL. I only said it like 100 times that day, LOL. He did tell me he knew I hated wearing them and thought he was doing a good thing. So how can I stay mad at him. Gotta call the doc and go get more though. Do you know how much stamping stuff I am gonna have to give up to pay for more hearing aides!!! OUCH! Oh well, have a great day and Happy Stamping!

I'm in BIG TROUBLE

I'm in BIG Trouble! Meet Bandit. 4 years old, usually very clam and loving. Mama's little boy. well he isn't a good boy at the present. Yesterday while I was watching TV I decided no one else was there and I hate wearing my hearing aides so I took them out and laid them on the coffee table in front of me. I dozed off for maybe 10 minutes to wake up seeing Bandit chewing on the left aide. That's the one I need to most. It's ruined, no fixing it, believe me I tried in between crying and wiping tears. He hasn't chewed any thing, ANYTHING for about 2 1/2 years. He's 4 now. In the beginning he did destroy several things like the cell phone, TV remote, leg to the dinning room table, a few throw rugs you know puppy stuff. Who would even think about him doing this yesterday. The hearing aides cost $3600.00. So I guess I will be going and getting new ones. I may be getting a new dog LOL. Every time I look at him I say "Bad Dog", he looks down at the floor and the ears go back, oh he knows exactly what he's done. And no he did not sleep with me last night, which he loves doing. Think I'll let him stew a little longer today, Caroline is coming to groom him today so he's gonna love seeing her LOL. Some one to give him attention and love. he's such a lovin dog, yes I still love him but gotta make him think about it a little longer. Things will go back to normal after she leaves but until then, "BAD DOG!".

Hearts in Bloom

First, sorry for such a bad picture. I had left my camera in the car and just did not want to go get it. There you know, I can be lazy LOL. The base is Gina K white layered with Basic Grey EVA. I used "Bug me anytime" and stamped out the flowers. The flower part is cut out and popped up you just can't tell it in the picture. Well that's it, it's early, I'm still asleep, and before I write something that makes no sense what so ever, I'm going to hit the shower and wake up. Thanks for dropping by and have a great day!

Saying Goodbye to CCS

Good Morning! It's my turn to bring you another creation using Clear Creative Stamps. This is also my last post, so sad to leave. Laura is great to work with and this has been a fantastic group to work along side of. By now you know how wonderful these stamps are, Laura has a sentiment for any thing you can think of. I love them. But I am leaving you in good hands with the new design team, I have known Tina and Joni for some time now and are very very talented!
On to my card, This sentiment is from the set "Arms of Jesus". It's also this weeks sketch challenge. I used Stampin Up Regal Rose card stock and the dp is from K&CO. I used a Martha Stewart border punch to make the center piece. Cut the sentiment out with a circle nestie. I do hope you enjoy my card. Until we meet again, Happy Stamping!!
A little Q&A with Olga
1.Tell us something we don't know about you :I wear hearing aids, suppose to all the time but don't, I hate them although I'll admit they work great!
2.Where do you get your creative inspiration every week? Blogs and doing challenges.
3.What has been your best experience as part of DT3? Working with such talented ladies and learning so much!
4.What will you do now? (go back to blogging, start a position on a new team, etc?) I'll blog more and get back into all the challenges. Whose knows, I might win LOL
5.What is your favorite CCS Stamp?"Arms of Jesus". This set has so many wonderful sentiments!
So for now it's bye bye, but I'll be around checking on whats new here at CCS and to see what the new CCS design team has in store for us!

Magical Monday

Morning all! It's Magical Monday again at TMITA/PCC. Hope you join in again this week. Nilla has ask us to use any acquired image from TMITA/PCC and to be inspired by this bouquet.

So here is my card. I used a purple dp I had, cut a black mofit out with Spellbinders, then cut my image out also with a nestie. Colored it in with Stampin Up markers. I also added 4 small flowers to each corner. I love this image, it's so me. A lot of my flowers are in containers. So this was the inspiration I got. Be sure and use one of Nina's images for your card that you enter. Thanks for taking time to drop by and leave a comment, I love reading what you have to say. Until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Charlie gets his Master's

As promised, here's Charlie. The weather was fantastic and every thing went great! Alot of proud students and families!
I am very proud of Charlie, he got his BA at Radford then while working full time and being married, went for his Master at VA Tech. 3 years later he has it. Julie his wife is also going for hers and couldn't attend today because she had to go take a 4 hour test. Bless her heart. She'll do fine too, we are very proud of her too.

Make a Wish

Good morning. Here is a card I made last weekend using Theresa Momber's stamp set "Gone Fishing". More Mustard is the card base. The rest is white from Gina K. I sponged around using More Mustard, and Close to Cocoa. I did stamp the leaves from Hero Arts in the lower left corner. The oval was cut out using a nestie and I punched the others out with the window punch from Stampin Up. After it was finished I used that spray thing (don't know what it's called LOL) and sprayed all around it. that's it, got a busy day ahead of me. I'm off to Va Tech today to see Charlie (my step son) receive his Masters Degree today. May post a picture tomorrow. He's a good looking guy and super great fellow! So until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Good Morning! Normally I'd be off work today but I'm gonna go in and work 2 hours. I have started a new project and I'm excited about it. I'll tell ya more about that later. Here is another card I made using Henri from Sarah Kay Stamps that I purchased from Joan's Garden. Check her out this morning to see what Selma has been making. The base of my card is Gina K's blue. I'm sorry, I don't always write down the color of card stock, blue is blue, red is red etc etc LOL. Lazy I guess. I colored him in using Stampin Up markers and cut him out with a nestie. The dp is from Basic Grey. The borders were punched out with a Martha Stewart punch and then I added 2 lady bug brads. That's it for now. Thanks for dropping by, hopefully I'll be back later. Have a great day!!

You're a Classic

Good morning. Man I was sleeping so good LOL. But this always helps wake me up. Turns the brain on. This is a card I made over the weekend. It's an old retired stamp set from StaminUp, Classic Pickups. I added the grass and leaves from Hero Art and rubber Stamps. White and black card stock is also from SU. I sponged all over it to dull the brightness. The ribbon is some of what I got from the Dollar Tree and added 3 black pearls. Now how easy was that. Thanks for taking time to drop by, I do appreciate it and your wonderful comments. Have a great day and until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Country Living

This girl has got it made. Just enjoying the summer days, picking fresh apples and walking a good old country dirt road. This is Adele, another Sarah Kay stamp I purchased from Joan's Garden. I love these stamps. The white and black card stock is from Stampin Up, all the other is from my scrap basket but I'm pretty sure it's basic grey. Least I think it is LOL. I colored her in with SU markers. Added 3 store bought flowers I had added brads to to finish it off. Guess I better get a shower and head to work. Hope you liked my card. Yall have a great day and happy stamping!

Christmas Blessings

It's me again, Olga, my day to bring you another card using CCS. I have made another Christmas card. I really like the way this one turned out. I used Basic Grey Eskimo paper for the background and love all the snow and houses sitting around it. I also used a piece of scrap at the bottom after punching a border using MS punch. Added my ribbon and it's all finished. I love the sentiment, it's from the set Holiday Sentiments. These sentiments make it so easy to create the perfect Christmas card. I love all the sayings. Well that's it for now. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!

Softly Afloat

Good Morning! It's Magical Monday over at There's Magic In The Air. This week Sue is the host and ask us to create a clean and simple card using the image Softly Afloat and to make it a Clean & Simple card.
1. the design is uncluttered with lots of white or open space. Simple: having a clear focal point without a lot going on to detract from it.OR
2. simple in design regardless of the number of embellishments or how long it takes to color, stitch or to use a special technique OR
3. can be copied and mass produced fairly quickly… usually without a lot of coloring, layers, embellishments, tools and/or techniques OR
4. any combination of the above.
So this is what I came up with using the image "Softly Afloat. To get yours hop on over to TMITA/PCC. Nina has lots of fantastic images so while there check em all out. Thats it for now, gotta get to work, have a great day and Happy Stamping!

Reel Expert

Good morning! Well it never did rain yesterday but cool and very windy. So I did stay in and stamp. I came up with what I wanted to do with Sharri"s blast from the past challenge and got started. This is nothing like I started thinking but I'm pleased with it. I used Theresa Momber's new stamp set "Gone Fishing". The card stock is all Stampin Up. My card is square, 5x5. It's colored in with SU markers. The sentiment is popped up with pop dots but doesn't show in the picture. I know it's Mother's Day and this is nothing about Mother's except we will say her wonderful hubby took the kids fishing so she could have some free time to stamp LOL. Yeah that works. LOL. I do hope everyone has a wonderful Mothers Day, Bill is going to his mom's and I'm staying here because my wonderful daughter is coming by and Tommy is calling me later. So it's gonna be a good cool day. I'm worried about all my flowers out side since I heard it may frost tonight. But nothing I can do about it but pray. Yall have a good one and until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Pansies

Good morning! No card today but did want to share a photo of my Winter pansies. They have bloomed all winter and still gorgeous. I don't really have flower beds so to say, my flowers go all around the house so I guess it's one big bed LOL. this is beside the kitchen door. Hope you like. I may make a card later. Looks like it's gonna rain so it'll be a stay in and do something day. Until the next time......

Old Friend

Morning, hope you are well and happy! I saw how to make this flower over on SCS the other day and just had to try it.You can see how here. Not bad for my first but not perfect, I'll practice more LOL. I used K&Co. 2 sided dp along with SU Rose Red. I embossed the Rose Red with the Damask folder. The sentiment is from Gina K. "Basket of Happiness" which I cut out using Labels Seven nestabilities. I also sponged around it with some Rose Red ink. Okay that's it for today, at least right now, gotta list a mile long to get to today so not much time for playing until maybe tonight. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!

Dasiey

Good Morning! Man I feel rough, I wanta go back to bed LOL. Here is a card I made last night and DO NOT like it.Ever make one like that? This is a sheet of printed images that are pre-cut and all you do is pole em out and stack em together. It's not as pretty as I was hoping it would be. I embossed the Barely Banana, then the piece of Kraft at the bottom is some that was left over from another card, I used the Trellis punch to create the bottom, ran ribbon through it and added the white flowers. This is probably one of those I'll take apart and try redoing some how but for now this is it. Have a good one and Happy Stamping!! Thanks for looking.

Magic

Good Morning! Hope everyone is great and happy! It's Wed. bowling day, YEAH!Here is a card I made last night. It's a case card, you can see how she did hers here. I love the way she showed how to do the ribbon.I used Stampin Up border stamp, then added small flowers, all that was stamped with White Color Box. Then I stamped the butterfly (SU), with Coral, and then the sentiment, (Great Impressions) with close to cocoa. I used Gina K. Ivory for the base and what I stamped on, the coral is SU. The ribbon is some I got from the Dollar Tree thanks to Patti Painter telling me about it. I bought 12 rolls all different colors. I also used SU border punch that I put behind the piece of Kraft. Oh yeah lets not forget the words on the Kraft, it's another stamp from SU. Cut it out with a nestie. Guess that's it. Lets hit the shower and get ready for work, have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Christmas Joy

Good morning all! Hope everyone is well and happy! It's my day to post for CCS. I decided to start my Christmas cards early, last year I had to buy a box of cards........nothing hurts worst, so I'm starting early this year. It should be against the law to buy cards if you can make em LOL. Laura has wonderful Christmas images and sentiments. I got this sentiment from the Holiday Sentiment Set. Be sure and check her store out, all of her stamps are fantastic! I started out with Chocolate Chip from Stampin Up, added dp from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses, punched the border out with a Fiskars border punch and flowers from a Marvy punch. The sentiment and border were cut out using a nestie. That's it, hope you like and hope I have inspired you to get those Christmas cards started, it'll be here before we know it LOL. Rose's Challenge

Good Morning! I was about to forget to post my challenge card this month. Shame on me. The Roses, Sue, Kerrie, Betty, Kym, Connie and myself have a little group we started over a year ago through StampTV. This month Kerrie was our hostess and ask us to make a Folded Paper Frame. I could not find the one I made so I jumped in and made another one. They are very easy so no big deal and I got to use one of my new Sarah Kay stamps,jean-Luc playing ball with Claude. I buy my Sarah Kay stamps at Joan's Garden. I used Stamping Up dp, it's 2 sided so that worked great. The happy Birthday is also SU. If you would like to try this Paper Frame check out the tutorial here. That's it for now. Hope you like my card, I do appreciate you taking time to drop by and love all your wonderful comments! So until the next time, Happy Stamping!
