I think I'm still asleep. Man I did not want to get up! But here I am, hope what I write makes since LOL. Last week a wonderful talented friend of mine, Selma Stevenson, posted a card on her blog and the minute I saw the image I knew I had to have it. So I contacted Joan's Garden and look what I got! Is she not the cutest! Don't tell but I got one more too, I'll finish it tonight, hehe. It got here fast and Joan doesn't rob you on the shipping! Oh the wish list I have now, but gotta be good for awhile. I used Basic Grey Kioshi, and 2 pieces of scraps, it's Stampin Up, punched her out with a nestie, added some flowers and that's it. In away I think it's to busy but I'm not changing any thing LOL. Okay, this is short but gotta finish my coffee, (Hi Patti) we have coffee together LOL, then hit the shower and off to work I'll go. Nappy Hour

Happy Tuesday Yall! It's gonna be a great day in the southwestern part of Virginia today. Can't ya just feel it! I'm posting for CCS this morning. These are the best stamps I believe I have ever used. And the cleaner Laura offers is fantastic! Smells soooo goood and cleans better than it smells. Anyway, on to my card. I won this stamp last year during one of their blog hops. I have used it a lot and still love it. Boy I could of used a nap yesterday, LOL. The card stock I used is Pure Luxury from Gina K and topped that off with Stampin Ups Sweet Pea Designer Stack. I used a nestie to cut out the frame looking part and with the ribbon my card is finished. Some times depending on who is getting the card or if I'm mailing it , I let the image or sentiment carry the card. I think this says it all and nothing else is needed. Hope you like and hope you will check out all of the wonderful stamps Laura has. I haven't seen anything over $10.00 so that will fit any ones budget. Well gotta hit the shower and head to work. Eggs-traordinary

Good Morning! It's Monday and it's Magical Monday! Sue Walsh is hosting this week and ask us to create a Paper Easter Basket using this image. Is he not the cutest!!! I made a fairly large basket, hubby doesn't know it yet although he has seen it, but this is gonna be his basket. I have since added more candy to it LOL. I used both nestabilities and Martha Stewart punches to create this basket. It measures 4x4" and is also 4 inches high. I used card stock from Gina K. Spring Assortment. Good Morning! Here it is 5:30AM on a Sunday and I'm up early. Why can't I sleep late????

Any Who, here is a card I made for the SKETCH challenge over at CCS. Yes, Laura has started sketch challenges and we all know they are my favorite kind of challenge! I love this sketch! I used the stamp set "True Love " from Creative Vision. It's another stamp set you can use for so many reasons. Valentines, birthday's, thinking of you etc etc. The base of the card is from The Paper Co. The print is Basic Grey Lemonade and the pink is from Gina K. I punched the flowers out with a Marvy punch . Added ribbon at the bottom and put some tiny punched flowers on it. Good morning all. Well I did get around to stamping a little yesterday. Well a lot I guess. I made this one and 3 for the challenges over at StampTV. Hopefully I will get some more done today. This is a card I made for a very dear friend of mine from STV. Well not for her but her son Travis who is in the Marines and right now is stationed over in Afghanistan. I am putting this in the mail this morning. The Roses (as we call our little group) do a challenge once a month and this month is Kym's and we are all making and sending him cards. I goofed, it was supposed to be Thinking of You and mine says thanks. Oh well, I do thank him and all of our men and women serving in the military. The sacrifice they make to make our life better is beyond words. We can never repay them enough. This is the image I bought off Ebay last week. So all I had to do is sponge around it and add a little color here and there. Cut if out with a nestie, and the border under it is of course from Martha Stewart. 3 Little Bunnies

Good Morning! Hope all is great with yall. Sadly to say my MOJO has gone a miss. I think it could be to working so hard this week. But no fear, the weekend has started and hopefully it's back. It's been way over a week since my last challenge. HELP! I made this card just to be making one. I bought some images off Ebay and the seller also sent me 4 extra images, this is one of them. Yeah, if you see this THANKS! I think it's Penny Black. The card stock is from Basic Grey "Green at Heart". I just thought it was perfect for these cute little guys. A field of wild flowers. I added ribbon which is yellow but sure doesn't look like it in the photo, then stamped Happy Easter from a SU stamp, cut it out with the circle nestablities to finish it off. Sorta simple but I'm pleased. Hope everyone has a great day..........Happy Stamping!

I used Basic Grey Origins dp. Then added ribbon and 2 punched out Daisy flowers. Sponged around the sentiment and added 3 little flowers at the bottom after cutting it out with a nestability.

Good Morning! It's a brand new day, no one has ever used it before so make it what ya want! I'm gonna make it a great day. Gotta work but it's March Madness Day at work, how fun is that!! Here is a card i made last night out of scraps! Well except the black card base that is. the stamp is one I got last year while at Winston Stamp Show, no name, sorry. The Thinking of You is from Creative Clear Stamps. I love her stamps, they always stamp so crisp and clear! ! After stamping it I decided to cut it apart and lay it out this way. What ya think? I also ran the ivory through the Big Shot with a square nestie and just embossed it. Added 4 black pearls to finish it off. I really like it. It's a 5x5 so I'll also have to make the envelope but that's okay. Well lets hit the shower and get ready for BASKETBALL ACC at work! Doesn't that sound like fun LOL. Country Times

Good Morning World! Hope everything is great today. Did everyone have a good time last night over at Stamp TV. I sure did. Connie and I were there together on Skype LOL. I saw several of you, Betty, Patti P, Mary Anne, Sue and on & on. seemed like a great turn out! Here is a card I made for the challenge at ForFunChallenge. It is to make a scene card. Well everyone know's I love making them so here is a brand new one just for them LOL. I used 3 stamps, Lakeside Cabin #147F, Shagbark Hickory #242G from Stampscapes and Grateful Leaves form Hero Art. I used More Mustard, Old Olive and Close to Cocoa for the bottom part, Bashful blue, for the sky. Hope you like. I have a dentist appointment today and then it's back here to do some laundry and then play! So you have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Afternoon

Good Morning. Gotta work today but it's okay, it's gonna be a fun day at work and I had a fun day yesterday stamping. I promise, I did clean my stamping room up, found the counter and every thing, but after several cards I made, it's a mess again. LOL. I made this card for the sketch challenge over at The Sweet Shop and Sat. Challeges any thing goes and Cute Card Thursday -Celebrate. I am real thrilled at how this turned out! I used some Stampin Up designer paper from my scrap basket and I think one little piece is from Basic Grey. This is an old SU stamp from back in 1995, no I wasn't stamping then, I got this one at a yard sale, but I love it! The sentiment is also from SU set "Just Journaling". Now I am bad about swapping cases so I hope I got that right. Let me know if I didn't. Cause I look at it and think, that doesn't sound right. Anyway, I punched the flower out, attached it and ta da, it's finished. Oh yeah, I did use a Martha Stewart border punch. Okay, I'm off to the shower then work. Not to fear, I'm off tomorrow, LOL, crazy schedule, then I gotta work Sat., off Sun., work Mon., off Tue, work Wed. & Thur then back on schedule LOL. Yall have a stamping good old time today and I'll catch up later!!

Little Things

Good morning, look who slept in. I love being off work this morning. Here is a card I made this morning. I got a card from Vicki Dutcher Mon. and let me tell ya, it was gorgeous! My jaw really did drop. I knew I had to try and case it. Mine turned out nothing like hers but I tried. The dp is from Basic grey. I stamped the flowers from Stampin Up "Wonderful Watercolors" and "Happy Harmony" with both White Colorbox and Pink Passion. The Butterflies were punched out using pink Passion cs. The ovals of course were cut out using nesties. Okay, I'm gone, I have got to clean this messing room up so I can stamp and be able to move. It won't stay long but at least I'll be able to say I tried. Yall have a great day and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

God's Love

Happy Tuesday morning! Hope all is great in your part of the world. I'm running late this morning and don't know why LOL. Just finished this card this morning and almost didn't post it. I'm not happy with it at all! Maybe to much pink, wrong type of butter fly, I don't know. Made this for a friend of mine who is a little down and out. She doesn't know why, just not her self. Hopefully this card will let her know I do care. The dp is Basic Grey, butterfly is Martha Stewart and sentiment is form Inkadinkado. I used Stampin Up ink. Oh yeah, the bow easy helped make the bow. That's it for this morning, I gotta hit the shower and get to work. I'm off tomorrow so maybe I'll clean this room up and start all over LOL. Yall have a great day and God Bless!

Bunny Cupcake

Good Morning! It's Magical Monday! Kim McDonald is hosting this week and her challenge to us and you is to use - Bunny Cupcake and make a Non-traditional Style Card. I went with a Wiper card. For great tutorials on how to make one go here or SCS also has one here. I used Stampin Up card stock. A Martha Stewart punch was used also. I embossed the Lovely Lilac with the Textile folder. Bunny was colored in with SU markers and Stickles were added. Look at that ribbon I used. I got it a few weeks back while at AC Moore and knew I could use it with Nina's images. It's perfect! The sentiment is from Darcie's. I am looking forward to see what you come up with this week. I'm wowed by all the gorgeous cards you submit to the challenges. Hello again! Here is the card I made for this weeks challenge at Annablle. I won last week , who knows I could win again this week LOL. I used Gina K. Spring Assortment card stock, the Flower is a stamp from Gina K. "Basket of Happiness", the sentiment is from Stampin Up's "God's Beauty". I colored it in with SU markers. Added a piece of ribbon I had and tiny pearls all over. I just love pearls! I purchased those from Gina K. also. I used one of the new punches I got Tue. from Martha Stewart. Peaceful

Good Morning, It's really 5:43 AM but the clock says 6:43 AM, man, now it'll take weeks to get used to the time change. DH & me went to Mt. Airy (home of Mayberry) last night out to eat and movies. We saw Alice in Wonderland. Pretty good, I love 3D movies lol. Before we left I had been in here playing, since I had my Stampscape stamps out, I decided to make another card with them then put them back up. I stamped the images first, Lakeside Cove #049G, then Tree Trunk Trio #088F, then added a few leaves with Grateful Leaves by Hero Arts. Then sponged in a little YoYo Yellow, and finished it off with Marvelous Magenta. I used a green & brown marker from Stampin Up and shaded the rocks and grass. Gone Fishing

Second post so far,please scroll down to see the first post. Hope all is wonderful in your part of the world! This is a card I made for the challenge at Crazy for Challenges, make a Manly card. Most of you know I LOVE stampscapes, so here is what I came up with. I can not find the name or number on this stamp, it is a stampscapes but maybe I have used it so much I have wore it off, I also used Tree Cluster sm. 266D, Winter Grass 304A and the man fishing is from Sutter Enterprize D-884. I started with glossy paper, stamped all images with stazon, then using Stampin Up inks I sponged around until I got the look I was looking for. The top (sky) kinda looks green in a way but I promise the only inks I used were blues, yellow and black. But blue and yellow do make green LOL. Hope you like my card, thanks for dropping by! Good Morning. Lots of rain but I thank the Good Lord it's not snow. Opps, I said the dirty word LOL. Every time I write LOL I can't help but think of Linda P. At one time she thought it meant Loads of Love. I can just image her typing that on messages and people wondering why in the world did she put LOL. LOL, love that woman. This is a card I made yesterday for the challenge over at Stampin B's. To make a Easter or Spring card. How awesome is that! I used SU card stock. My new punches from Martha Stewart, (love em!), Lovely Lables from Nina Brackett over at STV. The ribbon is some I got on a basket of flowers some years back and I cut some off to make this bow. Hey, I can also enter this in Gina K.s challenge to use some thing from our closet. Yeah!!!! How cool is that. Well that's it for now. Exciting News!!!

Hi everyone! I am Thrilled to have been chosen and joining a wonderful group of talented ladies... on the Design Team at Creative Clear Stamps for the next 8 weeks! Oh my! I was so excited when I learned this! [WHOO HOO!!] So, I would like YOU to come on over to CCS and check out Laura's blog & store and see what's going on! I do know there is going to be a Blog Hop on March 24th so mark your calendars now so you won't forget! Get there early and park close LOL. She is a super lady with awesome stamps!!! I love the stamps AND the sets are only $10 each!!! They also have funny and sentimental single stamps. They are all excellent quality clear acrylic. I already have several sets and love how they stamp. I remember when I first started going over there I won a stamp and been hooked ever since, now to be on the Design Team is just awesome!! Laura says my Welcome Kit is in the mail, I can't wait to get it!!!! YES I'm doing the Happy Dance again!

I WON!

Good Morning, got up this morning, came in here and turned on my computer and had a email from Sue telling me I had WON over at Annabelle Stamps!!! I won the stamp set "I Can Fly". Needless to say I got excited and was doing the Happy Dance at 5 AM LOL. What a way to start the day! On to my card. This is the last one I made last weekend, got me figured out yet, I stamp all weekend cause I just don't have time during the week,(I work out of the home). Anyway, I got the idea to make a wreath, well I got stamp crazy and that didn't happen, but I'm still pleased at how it did turn out. I used stamps from "Summer Bouquet Wreath from The Rubber stamp tapestry. I got these 2 years ago while at Enchanted Cottage. The sentiment is from the new set "Arms of Jesus" from Creative Vision. I love her stamps. I embossed with the Demask folder, cut out the circle with nesties and used Stampin Up ink pads. I also added tiny pearls in the center of the darker flowers and 3 more down at the bottom. Good Morning, here is another Easter card, the bunny and eggs are from Great Impressions, the sentiment is from Darcie's. This is gonna have to be a fast post, blog is acting up and I am having to re-do this post, crazy. The CS is from both Gina K. and SU. Punch is also SU.

Tue while in Roanoke I got, 2 sets of Martha Stewart punches, 2 flower punches, pearls, stamps that are in those little packs, they are great to slip inside a card to give someone, it's not much but they know you were thinking of them. I also got 3 jars of flowers, card stock, and glue pens. Well lets hit the shower, today is Thur. yeah, I don't work on Fridays so I love Thur. LOL. Yall have a wonderful day and Happy Stamping!!

Easter Bunny

Good Morning! Man what a beautiful day we had yesterday. Went to Roanoke and it was around 65! Felt sooooo gooood! Went to AC Moore, Michaels's and JoAnn Fabric's. Yes I spent way to much money but let me tell ya, I had fun! LOL.

Now for my card, this is one I made Sunday for Crazy for Challenges. I was to do paper piercing. Which I did. I got this stamp last year while at Enchanted Cottage, it's by Great Impressions. Isn't he cute! I punched the flowers out and applied them to the bg that I had embossed with a Stampin Up folder. Thanks for dropping by. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

Thinking of You

Good Morning, was it not gorgeous yesterday! It was in the 60's, yes I loved it, gonna get that high today too. I'd guess after today all the snow will be gone!!!

Here's a card I made for OCC, Our Creative Corner. They have a weekly sketch challenge so be sure and go check them out.

I used scrap paper from Basic Grey, I used Nina Brackett's Lovely Labels stamp set and Fairly Creative Place. Laura has awesome stamps, this sentiment is from her new set "Time for Prayer. I cut the flower part out and then stamped the sentiment in the center. Added 4 flower brads in each corner and that finished it off. Thanks for looking and hope your day is wonderful!!!

I used Stampin Up card stock and the white is Pure Luxury from Gina K. I also used SU markers to color it in. Added gold Stickles for the coins, and in the corners. This is the card I made for the challenge over at Just Us Girls Challenge. It was a sketch. I love sketch challenges. I used both Martha Stewart and Stampin Up border punches down the left side. I cut the circle out with the nestie and stamped the image and sentiment from Gina K.'s set Baskets of Happiness. Colored it in with SU markers, added stickles to give it sparkle and pearls in the lower right hand of the circle to finish it off. Thanks for taking time to drop back by, have a wonderful day!!

I used Theresa Momber's stamps from her set Purrr-fectly Delightful. Isn't he cute.........I'm a dog person but like cats too! I embossed the background with the Textile folder. Punched the border out with a Martha Stewart punch and for the sentiment I used a round punch with no name so sorry......... The blue and yellow card stock are from the new Spring pack from Gina K. Second post today. The house work and laundry is done so I'm in here playing! This is an Easter card I made for a family member. Not sure which one yet LOL. The image is from Creative Visions "Time for Prayer" and the Easter Blessings" is from Gina K.'s "Basket of Happiness". Good Morning! The sun is out again this morning and I'm lovin it! They say it's gonna be in the 50's all weekend. we talking major melting out there!!!

Here is a card i made for Vicki's sketch challenge at StampTV. This is one of the images from the free set I got this week. Gina K. had a great sale and yes I took advantage of it. Got 2 sets free hehe. I used Basic Grey origins paper pad, colored the image with Stampin Up markers, cut it out using an oval nestie and a scalloped oval to mat it. added little pearls and ribbon I got from Michael's called "Dashes, Dots and Checks". Little Joys

This is late for me to be posting as I usually do it early in the morning, but had to go to the doctor this morning, run errands and finally got to play. Look what I got in the mail today! Gina K. stamps!! I love this set and can see all kinds of cards to be made LOL. This is for 2 challenges, Gina K.'s inspire at Stamp TV and Vicki's color challenge over at Scrap booking and Crafting Friends . With Gina's I was to do something with diamonds. So I used my scor-pal and made diamonds. The colors for Vicki's was blue, yellow and white. I also added white pearls I got from Gina K. and a blue ribbon I have had forever! The white is Pure Luxury, the blue is SU Bashful Blue and the yellow is Gina K. from the Spring pack. I colored in the flowers with SU marker yoYo Yellow. Hope you like my card. Pink

Good Morning. Can you believe it's already Thursday.....and I've worked all week, but it has flew by.

My card today is for 2 challenges, StampTv color and Winter Wonderland Monochromatic. Can you tell it's PINK. I embossed it with the Snow Dots folder, then stamped the Pine Cones from Great Impressions with Pretty in Pink and clear ep. Cut it out using Spellbinders peony, added the ribbon to finish it off. Perrr-fectly Delightful

Good Morning. Well the white stuff is back, think we got another 5 inches or so. Let's hope this is the last of it.

here is a card I made for the sketch challenge over at Annabelle Stamps. Check her blog out, there is some talented ladies over there. I did mine 5"x5". Using Basic Grey card stock and Theresa Momber's stamp set Perrr-fectly Delightful. the circle was cut out using nesties. I embossed the sentiment with white ep. Added stickels at the top in place of pearls. I colored my image using Stampin Up markers. Hope you like my card, thanks for taking time to drop by and look. With Sympathy

Good morning. Hope all is well and happy for you this Tue. morning. No snow like they said so that's a good thing.

I got the set of stamps from Creative Vision last week and just had to ink it up. Every now and again I need a Sympathy card so made this one to have on hand. The set is "Arms of Jesus". Comes with 10 stamps, I love her stamps and must be honest, got another one ordered LOL. I used sage shadow and embossed it with the Demask folder. After stamping the sentiment cut it out with a nestie label, ran ribbon through that and added 3 pearls. The image I colored with SU markers then cut out with a Nestie also. The Big Shot got a work out with this card LOL. Hope you like, It's off to the shower then to work I go. It'll be a easy day today, I'm teaching CPR to reserts so it'll go fast. Tulips

It's Magical Monday! Today on There's Magic in the Air with Paper Cup Cakes, Patti is the Host. She ask us to use any image we have acquired from TMITA/PCC and this sketch. We can stretch it, rotate it, reverse it etc. as long as the original sketch can still be seen. I used Tulips. It makes me think Spring, Easter, warm weather, well you get the picture LOL. I colored it using pencils and OMS. Added some Stickles and used a Gold Marker from Pilot around the oval. The card stock is from Basic Grey June Bug and the white is Gina K. I also added 3 pearls to finish off my card. Don't forget to go visit the other blogs of the design team. They are all just fantastic!!
