Be of Good Courage

Good morning! It's Fall. You know when it's cooler in the mornings, then it warms up and the sun is so bright, the sky is so clear and blue. I'm am trying so hard not to think about what is coming next, LOL. I hate cold weather! Okay, enough on weather reporting LOL and on to my card! I made this one this morning for a blogging(Darlene P) friend's daughter's friend who has cancer and 2 small children. You can read the story here. So so sad. They are asking for cards so....... I remembered seeing a card like this awhile back made by Angella Crockett, I looked this morning but could not find it but believe me, the design was hers, hope she doesn't mind me using it. I used Memory Box dp and Stampin Up card stock. I also used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and border punch. The larger butterfly is from HCD701 Posy Patch/HCD702 Butterfly Diecuts. On the small piece I used the border punch on I also used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Honey Dew). I used my sewing machine around the edges but I must confess, it didn't have any thread in it so I used my Opaque white Pen. The machine isn't sewing just right and I didn't want to take a chance on messing the whole thing up. I also used white pearls. The sentiment is from Heartfelt CreationsHCPC3311 Hope in the Lord which I stamped with Black Staz-On. That's about it. hope you like my card and will go on over to Darlene's blog and check the story out. We all need words of encouragement from time to time.

Beautiful and inspiring card Olga. I do hope this brings her some comfort at such a difficult time. I'll hop on over and check it out. Yep, those white socks are a nightmare to get on and off him cause he can't strain to do it himself.. Thanks God they come off tomorrow night. Have a great weekend! "Hugs" Carol
