Another Sympathy card

I hope everyone had a wonderful day today. It was cool and windy here, never got higher than 55. Man I hate cold weather! LOL I made this card for another lady I work with that lost her sister–in-law (age 60) and her SIL’s Mother (age 81) in Northern VA last week in a fatal car accident last week. It’s such a Tragedy. I used stamping up card stock and embossed it with the textile CB folder. Using strips of adhesive foam, put on on top of the other. Then I inked my stamp (Great Impressions) with versa mark and embossed it with Powder Keg Amethyst powder. Cut the image out with a nestability and pop dotted it on. Added ribbon and that finished it off. The inside is stamped with a verse from SU"Loving Memories" Hope you like the card and thanks so much for dropping by. Leave a comment and yall come back.

With Sympathy

Hope everyone had a great weekend and Monday! I got off early today so here I sit in front of my computer LOL. I made this card Sat. for a friend of mine who lost her Mother last week. She had been sick and in a lot of pain for awhile and although we hate to give them up some times it's a blessing, and we know they are going to a way better place with Jesus. I printed the flowers off the computer, thanks Sue for passing on the site but I have already for gotten it LOL. Remember, I'm dead from the neck up LOL. I used a stamping up stamp for the sentiment. Cut it out with Nestablilities pop dotted it on and ta da! Oh yeah, after I trimmed down the white with the flowers on it, I did run it through the Big Shot with the textile embossing folder. How did we live without those folders?? Hope you like my card and thanks so much for dropping by. Yall hurry back!

Another Flower

Well after almost a flood last night the sun is shinning bright! Where they have been digging in the back yard for the past 3 weeks, we have mud like you wouldn't believe out in the road. Reminds me of the song Red Dirt Road, LOL. I made this card last night during the down pour, and Linda Payne is right, I got these from Enchanted Cottage. I'm lucky, I just live an hour away, any closer and I wouldn't have money for food LOL. hey, that could be a new diet LOL. I used SU Night of Navy again, embossed it with CB Texitle folder, popped the flowers together, added a few pearls, cut the green corner out using Sizzex corner punch, the bottom border using Martha Stewart's border punch, added some ribbon I had with a few bellas, glitter here and there to finish it off. No stamping , LOL. Hope you like this card. I love these punch outs, they make for a easy card. Thanks for looking and hurry back. Leave me a comment, I love reading them.

Blue Flowers

I have laid around all day and enjoyed it so much!! Still pouring the rain but that's okay. I purchased these flowers sheets the other day when I was in Winston. all you need to do is punch them out with your fingers and pop them together with some kind of adhesive, I used Scotch's 1/8" pops and it worked great!! You have to look close but you can tell in places they are on top of each other. They are by "Reddy Creative Cards" I used SU Night of Navy, embossed the center with Nestabilities ovals and placed the flower in the center. Added pearls around the oval and in 2 of the corners along with a little giltter here and there and that finished it off. I like the way it turned out and hope you do too. Thanks so much for looking and drop back in soon!

Another Poinsettia

Good Morning! Well the rain came in yesterday and it's still raining. I guess I will stay in and just play today LOL. This card is made mainly with scraps from my scrap basket. I love it when I can do that. I used the Snow Flake embossing folder on the 2 red pieces, off set them a little. Then using the border punch from Fiskars punched a white piece and another striped piece, glued those 2 together. Ran a piece of ribbon through the middle and placed the poinsettia with a pop dot in the center. I had used black colorbox and black embossing powder on it, cut it out and pop dotted the red on green. Used a glue stick in the center and glittered that. Hope you like my card. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Thanks so much for looking and all your comments. I love comments!! Yall come back!

Poinsettia

Howdy! I have been busy this morning but think I am finished for the day and I'm gonna play some! I made this card using a stamp from "Holly Berry House". The printed paper I got at AC Moore but don't know the company. I embossed it using the Cuttlebug snow flake folder. I cut the red (SU) out using Nestabilities and embossed it with D'vine Swirls from Cuttlebug. I then stamped the poinsettia with versa mark and embossed it with gold powder. Colored the leaves with a green marker. I lightly sanded the printed paper, using pop dots put it all together. Added ribbon and finished up the card. Hope you like it and thanks for dropping by! Yall come back!

Family Time

Good morning........for the first time all week I slept until the clock went off!! YEAH....
I made these 2 pages this pass weekend. I so enjoyed my family being here 2 weeks ago. This is my son Tommy and his little girl Stella. She is such a beautiful little girl. She's a daddy's girl no matter how I tried to talk her into being Nana's girl. She would just laugh and say no I'm Daddy's girl, LOL. I cut the circle out then used scissors around it to give it more texture. added pearls here and there. I'm sorry but can't remember where any of this paper came from. I have so much I keep it all together and lose the name of companies. I did use the Creative Memories cutter to cut the border out of the yellow strip and then used a Martha Stewart border punch on the other side. Matted all the pictures and that's pretty much it. Hope you enjoyed the pages. Better get in the shower now and get ready for work! You all have a wonderful blessed day and hurry back! Thanks for dropping by.

Pine Cones

Good Morning! I'm on my 2nd cup of coffee so you all have some catching up to do this morning LOL. On our trip yesterday to Winston Salem NC, I was able to run by my favorite store in the world, Enchanted Cottage . While there I picked up this stamp by Great Impressions. I love it, there is so much I'll be able to do with it. I stamped the image all over the white card stock, then stamped one image and embossed it, cut it out. Stamped Merry Christmas, (stamp from SU) cut it out, stuck it on then pop dotted the embossed pine cone on, then I sponged the same color ink, Forest Foliage around the edges. Put it all together and oh yeah, forgot I also added ribbon. Hope you like my card. Hopefully this weekend I'll have more time to play with this stamp and another one I got hehehe. You just can't go in that store and purchase just 1 thing, gotta get at least 2 or 6 or 10 hehehe, hope you have a great and Blessed day, enjoy your coffee!

8 Points

Good Morning, yep it's early but what do you do when you just can't sleep? You get on up and make a card LOL. Did you ever make a card then sit back and look at it and wonder if you liked it or not? Well this is one of those cards. Can't decide if I like it or not. I had stamped this image out awhile back when me and 2 of my best friends got together for one of our "Play days", ran across them Sunday while cleaning out a stamping paper box. This stamp is Parke's but I'm thinking it's from Outlines. Anyway, I stamped it in white color box, embossed with white powder, cut the 3 out layering them one on top of the other using pop dots. The Burgundy one I cut the center out of and placed it on the top, added white pearls around it and the center. Cut the corners out using Sizzex's corner die. Embossed the sage using CB Textile folder. Like I said, I'm just not sure about this one but hey, it was 5 AM when I made it LOL. Hope you like it and thanks for dropping in. It's coffee time, yall come back!!

Mini Album

I love this little mini album or card in my case. I left the 2 inside panels empty because I'm going to put a picture of a friend of mine there who has a birthday coming up. Don't want to spoil the surprise. I found the tutorial on how to make this over at Cuttlebug Challenges from Terrie. She made it so simple. Hope you like my card and go check hers out at http://cuttlebugchallenges.blogspot.com. Yall hurry back!

C4C3

Hello again! I made this card for the challenge going on at Crazy 4 Challenges. I like this sketch and look, I didn't do any stamping. Every thing is embossed using embossing folders by Cuttlebug. I did sponge a little green over the butterfly but that was so it would show up better. I stitched around the edge of the first layer and added ribbon and pearls. Hope you like my card and thanks for looking. Hurry back!

SASSC33

Good morning........it's raining here in VA this morning. So I guess I'll be forced to stay in and play today LOL.
I made this card for the sketch challenge over at Stamp and Smiles. I used the sizzex Daisey die to cut the flowers out, glued all of them together and placed a brad in the center. Now how easy is that! I used some scrap pieces and placed ribbon on top to finish the card off. Hope you like my card and thanks so much for dropping in. Hope you leave me a comment and hurry back!

Ashley

Hello again from VA. It's gonna be a cloudy day! This is 2 pages I fixed of Ashley's senior pictures. Her mom is one of my dearest and best friends. I didn't want to over work the page because I wanted her to be the main part of the page. I cut the paper down to 8 7/8" and then used Martha Stewart's border punch to make the frame. I used the Big Shot and cut out the flowers, glued them together and put a brad in the center. She is so beautiful both inside and out! Thanks for looking and have a Blessed day.

Liam

Hello, here is Liam, my youngest grandson. Hard to believe he's already over a month old! I made this page for the challenge going on over at Scrap and Stamp. I was to use green and blue card stock and at least one stamped image. I stamped several and cut the oneies out using the wishblade and added 2 brads for the snaps. I purchased this GSD file awhile back from The Wishing Well. They had great files! Hope you like my page and thanks for looking. Don't forget to leave me a comment!

Flowers

Good Morning, here is a card I made for the sketch challenge at Stamp TV. I used the Big Shot to cut out the Daisey Flowers and glued them together. Glued a button in the center, added pearls to each corner and ta da! now how easy is that! Thanks for looking and hope you have a very Blessed Day!!

Blessings

Good Morning! It's gonna be a great day, the house work is done, shopping completed, laundry almost there lol, so that leaves time to play! YEAH!!
I made this card for Lee Murphy's color challenge over at Stamp TV. It was to use only 2 colors, no more. So I used white and SU Baroque Burgundy. I used SU stamp set "Herb Expressions", Sizzex's corner punch and Spellbinders Shapeablities Fancy Tags. The ribbon is some I had in my stash and can't remember where it came from. I cased Lee's idea of using 2 tags one on top of the other, she is so talented. Hope you like my card and thanks so much for looking. I love reading your comments so please let me know how ya like my card. Yall come back!

C4C2

This is one of those CAS cards. I embossed each white square with a different CB folder, stamped the sentiment from Stamping Up's "Herb Expressions", added ribbon and look how pretty! Or at least I think so LOL. I made this card for the challenge going on over at Crazy 4 Challenges. Go check them out! Hope you like my card and thanks for looking!

Reminder Book

This is my Reminder Book for the challenge over at Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday. It's a birthday reminder book. I fixed a page per month and stamped different images to go along with that month. Most of the inside stamps are from Stamping Up and the month stamps along with the cover stamp is from Serendipity Stamps. I used the Rubi Coil machine to punch the holes and then used one of their coils to bind it together. There is a place on each page to place cards needed for the month. Hope you like this and that you give it a try. Thanks for looking.

When I'm Down

Good morning! I'm up early all though I could sleep late because I don't work today but here I am, woke up at 4:30am, so guess I'll play today LOL. Today I am uploading a card I made using an image form Sunshine's Digi stamps. Meet Frankie Fork Lift. Isn't he the cutest! I printed him and the words out on the computer then colored him in using Stamping Up markers. Double Take

Hello, I made it at work another week. I haven't stamped much this week but have been working on these 2. Gina K is holding a double take challenge over at Stamp TV where you do a scrapbook page and a card using the same set of stamps and being I just love this stamp set "Autumn Beauty" from Theresa Momber I decided to use it. I sponged the ground with stamping up inks on both projects. Then I stamped the corn and scare crow and on the scrap
book page I colored him in using pencils and oms, on the card I used stamping up markers. On the scrapbook page I also stamped the big pumpkin from "Dream A Little". I stamped it with black color box 3 times on 3 different card stocks. Then applied black embossing powder and heated it. Cut pieces out gluing them in place to get it as it is now. I also stamped the tree from SU "Lovely as a Tree" and applied a little flower soft to it. Cut the pumpkins out and glued them on my page. On the card I used a Fiskars corner punch that also embosses. These 2 projects took some time to do but I really like the way they turned out and hope you do too! Thanks so much for looking and please leave me a comment. Hurry back!

Soot Stamping

Well I made it through Monday, couldn't wait to get
home so I could play. You know all work and no play is not
good!
I made this card for Gina K. challenge at stamp tv. I started out with glossy paper that I held over a burning candle, just close enough to blacken it but not burn it. Then I stamped my tree which is from Impression Obsession. Then I sprayed a over it, someone said they used hairspray so I guess that would work. Cut that and the border for it using nestablities. The brown I embossed with CB Boo To You folder. The ribbon is a Halloween piece I have had for a while and don't remember where I got it. The corner punch is from sizzex, the little ghost and cat is from Creative Memories. All the card stock I used was left over from another card I had made which is all stamping up. Hope you like my card and thanks so much for looking. Leave me a comment, I love hearing from yall and hurry back!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hi, as I promised I'm back with a card to post. Theresa Momber is holding the color challenge at StampTV this week and we were to use brown, ivory and yellow. My card stock is from stamping up and the set of stamps I used is also Theresa Momber's "Autumn Beauty". I just love this set of stamps! I cut the image out and the words using nestabilities. Colored with koh-i-noor pencils and oms. Sponged lightly around with more mustard. Added brads and all finished. Hope you like my card and thanks for looking!

I'm Back

Well it has been over a week since I posted but I had better things to do. My son Tommy and his wife Shelly with the 2 kids came in for a week. I enjoyed them being here so much! They left yesterday morning and called last night to let me know they made it back okay. I sure am going to miss them but I think Bandit will more. That dog has never gotten so much attention. Both Alex & Stella enjoyed playing with him. I'm back in the stamping room today so I may post a card later....
Thanks for dropping in and hurry back!

I Love Flowers

This is a page I made for this weeks challenged at Scrap and Stamp. It was to make a page about some thing you love and use at least one stamp on it. Well everyone knows I love flowers.......and I used more than one stamp, all the stamps are from Stamping Up, the swirl and little flowers are from the "Baroque Motifs" set and the butterfly and sentiment are form "Touch of Nature" . I added a few blings here and there, these are old pictures where I use to live, (about 4 miles up the road LOL). The I Love is chip board and the word Flower is cut out using my Wishblade. I think it turned out pretty good. Let me know what you think and thanks so much for dropping in and looking!

My Little Heaven

I'm back, I just found the coolest site and Alex has a challenge going on. It ends tonight so we'll have to hurry! Check her site out a http://scrapandstampsaturday.blogspot.com Rusty Pickle is sponsoring her challenge. It was to fix a page of your stamping area and place a stamped piece of chip board on the page some where. I added chip board flowers I stamped and glittered along with the swirl I stamped on.
I cut the words out using my Wishblade. Hope you like the page, now it's off to clean some more. I just have fun, fun, and more fun. LOL. Thanks for looking!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I know it's so early for a Patty card but the minute I saw this image from Sunshines stamps I knew what I was gonna do with him. And isn't he the cutest! If it wasn't 7:20 AM I might even get thirsty LOL. I glittered the top of him ( think it's called the head of a beer) used a SU border punch, added ribbon and stamped the sentiments form SU & A Muse Artstamps Seattle stamp. Now how easy is that! This is a fast post, I have a million things to do today, starting at the vet, then I had a flat yesterday coming home so I guess I'll have to go get new tires, ouch on the pocket book, they aren't cheap now are they, think of the stamping stuff I could of bought LOL. Then come back home clean and start cooking for the weekend, my son & his family are coming up from AL for the week, I can't wait to play with Stella & Alex, I know they have grown like weeds, it's been 6 months since I saw them last. A Good Year of the Flowers

Good Morning World! This is my take on Theresa Momber's challenge over at Stamp TV. She is one of my favorites! That girl has so much talent. I used green, purple and yellow paper. Stamped Martha Stewart's butterflies in the lower left corner, colored with pencils and oms, glittered the larger one, then in the upper right hand corner used a stamping up stamp from Baroque Motifs, placed a beige flower in the center I picked up at Big Lots. On the lower right side I used a punch from Creative Memories and placed a black pearl in the center. Hope you like my page and thanks for looking. Feel free to leave a comment, I'd love to hear what ya think of it.
