Nana's Little Stinker

Back to show you 2 more scrapbook pages. This is Stella my only grand daughter. She's 2 1/2 and cute as a bug. Hey that could be another page LOL. I got all this paper at Big Lots. The striped is from Heidi Grace Designs and the other is from Cloud 9 Designs. I just love both of them. I punched the flowers out using wal-mart card stock and a Marvy punch. The bigger flower is a cut out using nestabilities and layering them to look like a flower. The words are cut out using my Wishblade and so is the Skunk. He's cut out in several pieces and pieced together. I added a bow to the top of her head and chalked around her eyes a tad, hand drew the eye lashes and mouth. Then I dug out 3 chip board flowers that I glittered and glued on. Oh yeah, the top and bottom flowered paper is also punched using Martha Stewart's border punch. Hope you like my pages and thanks so much for looking!

Feel Better Soon

Hello, it's late and I'm still in here playing. I fixed this card for a real good friend of mine who is in the hospital. At first they thought it was a heart attack but found out later it wasn't. But the lower part of her heart stopped working. Hopefully she's gonna be okay.
I used stamping up card stock, Melanie Muenchinger's A Year of Flowers and Martha Stewart's butterfly. Colored every thing using the koh-i-noor pencils and oms. Embossed the yellow using Cuttlebugs Textile folder and oval nestibilities. Hope you like my card and thanks for looking.

The Sting of the Bat

Good Morning. I got up early and started scrap booking. this is another page of Aiden. His mom Amanda is so great about sending me pictures! I cut the words "The Sting of the Bat from the wishblade. I got this GSD file from www.visualdesignservices.com It had Chris Duman's name on it too so I'm thinking maybe he drew it. I cut the baseball out using a nestablities. Then just drew the red lines in it because of all the files I have, I could not find a base ball. But I think it turned out pretty good. I may go back later and add some thing to the first page but right now I can't think of any thing to add. Hope you like my pages and thanks for looking.

MMSC16 Midnight Madness

This is my card for the Midnight Madness challenge. I used a stencil on the snowman and placed him on sticky paper then mask & glittered him using red & green glitter. All card stock is from Stamping Up. Thanks for looking.

Summer

This completes my challenges over at stamp tv. This is for Erika Martins scrapbook challenge. All the words are cut out using my wishbalde. The ovals were cut out using nestablities. This was a fast and easy page. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for looking!

Autumn

Well I see right now it's gonna be a challenge day. I love this sketch challenge Jessica Fick has going on over at Stamp TV. She is one of my favorites, she is so darn talented. I used stamping Up card stock. Used a Cuttlebug's Autumn Type folder on the Chocolate Chip, then wrapped gold like thread around it. I used SU images and colored them using chalks. Trimmed the edges using the postage stamp scissors. Added the sentiment and 3 gold bellas. I love this sketch. Hope you enjoyed my card and thanks so much for looking.

Money

It's me again, thought I would show you another card I made for Gina K's challenge over at Stamp TV. It was to make a shaker card. I got this stamp way back and can't read the company name on it, sorry. I guess at some time it really got inked up good LOL. I used pop dots to give it height enough to be able to shake the coins around, The sentiment is off the computer. I added flat pearls and ribbon. Used versa mark to make the bg. Gina K. gives a great tutorial on how to make this kind of card. I just happened to have a stamp but you don't need to have. She made her shaker card using nestablities. Hope you like my card. Thanks for looking.

Autumn Pumpkins

Good Morning! Hope everyone is healthy and happy this morning. Over at Stamp TV Geri's challenge this week was to case one of the DT cards. I choose Theresa Momber, all of her cards or any thing she does is so gorgeous! If I live to be a million I would never be able to color like she does, shes just fantastic. Anyway, I didn't color my pumpkins as she did , I cheated and black embossed them and cut them out LOL. I did color the leaf using chalks. Stamped the bottom with a stamping up stamp which by the way they are all stamping up stamps in this card, used nestablities to cut the oval out, matted and glued every thing in place. Hope you like my card. It was fun trying to case it as close as I could like hers. I may try doing this more often LOL. Thanks for dropping in and yall come back!

Alex's Book

It's me, now here is a fast and great idea (I think). Awhile back I made Stella a little picture book . Well I knew I had to make her brother Alex some thing, you can't do for one and not the other so......... I took all of Sunshine's images, printed them out, trimmed them to the same size, and then you know the back of paper packs, well I took 2 of those, cut down to the size I wanted, cover them and made a coloring book. It's all guy like images so I know he's gonna love it! Full of cars, trucks, planes etc. guy stuff LOL. On the cover, I colored "Stinky Steve" using Stamping up markers and Martha Stewart's glitter pens! Placed stickers to put his name on it and punched holes using the Rubi-Coil machine, put a coil in and it's finished. A few years back 2 of my best friends and I went in together and purchased this machine, at the present I have custody LOL. Hope you like the idea of making a coloring book. Thanks for looking and yall come back!

You're a Classic

Good Morning! I slept late this morning, 7AM. It was a long hard week and guess it just caught up with me. I'm always up by 5:30am LOL. It's also raining. Makes for a lazy day. I think I might like it today LOL. My card today is one of Sunshines images, "Hayseed Hank". Isn't he the cutest! I loved him the minute I saw him, I live out where there are lots of tractors so guess I could really relate to him. Plus I think he's cute.
I used stamping up paper, cut the white out using a nestablities, colored him with koh-i-noor pencils and oms. Added 4 brads and the ribbon. The sentiment is from stamping up. Thanks for looking and hope you like. To purchase your copy of "Hayseed Hank" go to http://sunshinesstamps.blogspot.com. She has lots of cute images so go check them out!

Christmas Candles

Hello. I haven't had much free time this week so it's been a few days, I'm home on lunch break now and thought I would post one I had made earlier for the challenge over at Winter Wonderland. I used white card stock for the base of the card. Real Red from stamping up which I emobssed using Cuttlebugs Snowflakes, it just doens't show up very good, the sentiment is a stamping up stamp and the Candles is from The Artful Stamper. I used my stamping up markers to color it and added stickles to make it appear as if the wax was running. Then I cut the candles out and glues it onto the red. Hope you like my card and thanks for dropping by.

Glad we're freinds

Good Morning....... I just don't sleep late. Been up since 3:30AM. But if I have to go to work I could sleep, isn't that the way it goes LOL. Here is a CAS card. I used the new embossing folder from Stamping Up, put a little stickles in the center of the flowers, cut out the sentiment using nestabilities, stamped with SU "Best Yet". Now how simple is that! Hope you like the card, thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

Dish Towels

It's me again. I have done nothing but play today. Well I did get the laundry done but other than that, oh yeah, I vacuumed too. Anyway, here is 3 dish towels I stenciled for my Secret Pal at church. We let each other know who had our name in Nov. so no problem I've even been buying cards........It kills me knowing I have so many here but...
This is fairly easy to do, I used brass stencils, fabric paint, then heat set it with an iron. I thought it was neat and hope you did too. Thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

So Many Toys

This is my scrapbook page for Jessica Fick's scrapbook challenge over at StampTV. Aiden is my grandson and like most boys plays so hard then gives out ! I used Sunshine's digi images to embellish the page. He has so many toys......Hope you enjoyed my page and thanks for dropping by, yall come back!

Barney Bus

Good Morning!
This is my take on Barney Bus. You can get yours over at sunshines stamps. It just took me back to the days....... I used stamping up paper, cuttlebug embossing folder, Martha Stewart's border punch, stamping up markers, brads and glitter. Thanks for dropping by to have a look and yall come back!

Chill Hon (MMSC15)

I colored it all using Martha Stewarts glitter Pens. The sentiment is printed off the computer. Hope you enjoyed my card! Yall come back!

Joy

No one can love glitter as much as me. I just love it!! Last year at the Scrapbook con. in Charlotte NC I purchses some Sticky Paper and embossing power from a company called P.K. Glitz. They have wonderful products. You can visit their web site http://www.pkglitz.com/ Anyway, this year I bought glitter! I cut a piece of the sticky paper, placed the brass template on top, put the color of glitter I wanted where. Then pealed it off the template, and sprinkled white glitter over the rest of the paper. Ran a piece of Real Red from Stamping Up through a cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" embossing folder, glued the sticky paper down, added ribbon and all done. I will admit glitter is a little messy, but I love it! I figure that's why we have vacuums LOL. Thanks for looking and yall come back!

Fall

Good Morning! This is a card I made for Gina K's challenge over at Stamp TV. I used a stencil and a gold gel pen. Turned out pretty good. I embossed the More Mustard stamping up paper and wrapped ribbon around it, then I cut the image out using Nestablities. I really liked doing this and will use this technique again. Hope you enjoyed my card. thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

For Everything There is a Season

Good Morning! Yep Fall is in the air. This is a card I made for Thursdays challenge over at StampTv. This is the stencil I got Sat. It's from The Stencil Co. I have several of their stencils, they are well build. I used my Stencil Collection Chalks I got there 2 years ago, I love it. It does not smear! The paper is from stamping up, I ran the stencil through the Big Shot to emboss it, remember the days you had to use a light box LOL, this is so much easier. While the stencil was still in place I chalked it, trimmed it, pierced it, attached every thing and it's done. I did use Martha Stewart's border punch, I just love her punches! Hope you like the card, thanks for dropping by and yall come back.

Good Morning! Went out side with the dog this morning and OMG, the sky was beautiful. Full of stars.
This is the chipboard album I purchased this weekend. Of course i fixed it up using Stella pictures. I will be giving this to her. She doesn't call them scrapbooks, it's a picture book LOL. This was so fast and easy to do. I never tried one before and didn't have a clue how to start but once I did it was fun. Of course it's full of glittered stuff. I love glitter! I'm praying they will come up in a few weeks. Haven't seen them since the last of March. Hope you enjoyed looking at the "Picture Book". Thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

Friends Meet

While at the CKC Scrapbook Convention Sat. in Charlotte NC, I was able to meet up with Katherine from StampTV, she's from Cary NC and she stayed both days along with Allison her daughter. Both were super nice ladies and I was thrilled to meet them and have my picture taken with Katherine & Becky. Becky and I live next door, go to church together and we both enjoy stamping and scrap booking. We have been friends for years. We drove down Sat. morning and stayed until 3:30PM. It was a lot of fun and if you have never been to one you really need to make a point of going some time. Take money LOL

I could of purchased a kit but got to thinking I could use my Nestabilities and cut one out myself. So I did. These are pictures of Aiden my grandson. I glittered the letters that spell out his name, added a few cute little sayings, connected then with book rings, added ribbon and it's all done! All the paper is scrap paper from my stash. I love being able to use scraps! Hope you like this and it gives you some ideas. Thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

Twelve Days Of Christmas

I'm back. I have been working on a Christmas card all week. I try and make 2 of these each year to give to someone I think is special LOL. I took a class a few years back at Enchanted Cottage held by Carolyn Hurst. She is so good, I heard she moved and really hate that. Anyway, The name of the card is "Twelve Days of Christmas Flag Tag Book" I ended up using 30 different stamps. I guess you could still make the card and use other stamps I just never have. It would be pretty with flowers or birds, may try that some time. Anyway back to this card. I used 2 pieces of Matt board 4" by 6 1/2". Covered it with paper I had wadded up, spread it out, spritz it with water, wadded it back up, spread it out again, let it dry good, rubbed Gold Brilliance ink over it. The spine of it is a black piece 10" by 6 1/4". I stamped on it, scored at 1 inch intervals and accordion fold. Glued that to the covers. Placed ribbon on both covers, applied the inside cover and the book part is done. On to the tags. I punched out 14 small 2" by 3" tags and 1 large 3" by 5". I used the 12 days of Christmas stamps I have and I think the Small ones are from the same company the large one is from, "Stampers Anonymous, and Stampington & Co. , then on the back stamped different Christmas stamps, I also stamped the crackled look all over each tag. Edged each one using a Pilot Gold Marker. The rest are just small stamps mostly from stamping up. Colored the tags with koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. Attached the tags to the accordion part, front cover, inside front cover and the large one on to the back cover. I put ribbon through each tag. Decorated the front cover and ta da. It's finished. It does take some time to make this but it's the kind of card you keep and put out year after year. Hope you like my card, thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

Francine

Meet Francine Flounder. She is the newest digital image from Sunshine's Stamps. She can be purchased by visiting http://sunshinesstamps.blogspot.com/
I did some thing totally different than I usually do, I ran printed paper through the printer. Cut it out and I love the results! She's all glittered up with cute little spots. I did color her eyes and lips with koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. Added Crystal Lacquer to make em pop a little. The blue is embossed using a cuttlebug embossing folder Spots & Dots. I have so much paper not sure where any of it comes from really. I need to work on that! Thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

Merry Christmas

Good Morning.....The coffee this morning is sooo goooood!! I didn't even want to get up LOL. Think I did a better job on this Christmas card. Yet, I could change a few things but that'll be another card LOL. I stamped out on green and red (stamping up paper)using colorbox then heat embossed. Cut the flower out (1 green and 1 red), layered it and then popped it onto a oval that I cut out using Nestablities. Popped that on another piece of red that was dry embossed by running it through Cuttlebugs Snowflakes folder. Punched a few leaves out using Martha Stewarts punch. The stamp is from "Holly Berry House" The Merry Christmas is a stamping up stamp but I'm not sure what set it came out of. I keep all my Christmas stamps in one big container in no order. Yeah, I really need to clean that up but maybe later LOL. Thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

Not A Happy Camper

Good Morning. Raining cats and Dogs here! Gotta tell ya what happened to me yesterday at work. Had a movie trip, the sun is shining bright and high, it's hot so I left the window in the van down about 2 inches. When we came out of the movie, it was pouring.......my seat was wet! I had no choice but to sit on it all the way back, around 7-8 miles. My pants was so wet! I left work a hour early so I could come home and change LOL. Anyway, this is a real simple and fast card. It's one of those you just aren't happy with. I stamped the stamp from Outlines using black Colorbox, heat embossed it, I did this 2 times on green and red. Cut a few out to pop up, applied glitter and it's done. I need to really work on this style cause I am just not happy with it. If I remake or add to I'll let ya know. Thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

Chloe

Michelle , my daughter, lost one of her dogs Sunday morning. Chloe. She found her a few months ago after someone had dropped her off leaving her to die. Of course Michelle finds her and takes her to the vet and mends her back. She was a sweet little dog and so white and soft. She lived the last few months of her life with some one who cared for her and will miss her.

Card Makers Challenge

Good morning! It's gonna be another HOT day. But I'm lovin it! I'll take the heat over ice and snow any day........

Made another pop-up card for you today. Well I made it last night and just didn't post it LOL. It's for the sketch challenge over at Stamp TV and Card Makers. I used nestabilities to cut all the shapes out. then I punched out the flowers (I bought a sheet of flowers you punch out) and popped them up. Glued some bellas on. The bg paper is from Anna Griffin, she has the prettiest paper. The forest green and white are from stampin up. The sentiment is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. The green part was a tad to big so I cut about a 1/4 of an inch out, then put it back together. The way the flowers are arranged you can't even tell it. Hope you like the card. Thanks for dropping by and yall come back!

Saturday, August 8, 2009

I'm on a roll! Here is another challenge card for Stamp Tv. Color was Peach & Ivory. Pink if ya wanted. I used Anna Griffins paper for the bg. Martha Stewart border punch and for the circles nestabilities. The image is stamped from A Year of Flowers. Punched some holes and attached every thing and it's done! Thanks for looking and yall come back!

Kids Being Kids

I'm back! I'm trying to catch up on the challenges over at Stamp TV. I love showing off my grand kids so I did a scrapbook page of the 2 that live in AL. The top 2 were taken back in Dec. before they moved, Alex found a magic marker, Stella at my house acting silly, the bottom one is in AL she loves her big brother! Corners are punched out using sizzix die cut, flowers are punched out using a Marvy punch and the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch. Added gold bellas in the center of the flowers. Hope you enjoyed the page and yall come back!

Good Morning! I have been so busy, yesterday I got the whole house cleaned, YEAH! Plus bathed and brushed out the dog. I have a 10 lb. Pom so you know how hairy they are, it takes hours! Anyway little Bandit is clean and soft not to mention smells so good LOL!

This morning I made something totally different! Sue Walsh had sent me this wonderful web site last week from Cubbybuddy with free GSD files. So I downloaded one and decided to make a birthday card for a friend of mine. It's a print and Cut from the Wishblade. It's layered using 3/8x3/8x1/8 pop-up squares. There are 5 layers! But I like the way it turned out! The bg paper is from a pack I got from Big Lots for girls. The green and pink are stamping up from my scrap basket of course and so is the circles that I cut out using nestabilities. I added some bellas and stamped the sentiment which is from "Judith" that I purchased at Enchanted Cottage in Lewisville NC. Love that store by the way!Hope you can see the glittered bg paper cause it really makes the card. Hope you like my card and thanks for dropping by, yall come back!
